I like Cotto and Margarito but i can't help but think Margarito will win this inside 5 rounds.

Margarito was even shrugging of the bodyshots... I just think he will eventually swallow up Cotto late in the fight... Margarito keeps punching and fills in the gaps so good, he finds all the leaks in the defense, body, head uppercuts back to the body etc.. The guy is a destuctive force...Cotto will have to kill him to get Tony to stop punching...
Cotto will have his moments as usual, but I think a Margarito Tko is a far gone conclusion IMHO

Yes Cotto can out box Margo, but try boxing when you have a Tornado of well over 1000 punches a fight after you. Shit the most specialized, highly trained, super killers in any armed forces would succumb to shear volume of enemies after them, why do you think this will be different, ya Cotto will out box him, but Tony will outwork him. Tony has one of the highest stamina levels in the WW division. His production/workrate is wayyyyyy out of the norm for a Cotto opponent.
Cotto's higher level of boxing technique and ability will allow him to land many shots to the body and face, granted. What is he gonna do when he faces a man who takes bombs to the grill (Cintron) and laughs at him. Could he have stood up to those bombs? Could he have walked through it and f***ing laughed!
Yes Yes we're all mystified by the strong silent cotto who never smiles, keeps his composure in every situation, pushes the smaller man around and keeps moving forward, very imressive. BE afraid of the guy that laughs in your face, beats your ass, and begs you to get up so he can continue to whoop your ass some more.
Make no doubt about it my friends we are in for a classic, and I give all the respect in the world to Cotto for his ability, athleticism, and dedication to his craft he is one of my favorite fighters, and with this post I am not saying that Tony has it in the bag or anything close to that, a part of me is afraid for Saturday to get here. We all seen the soft underbelly of Antonio Margarito on the Countdown, and no matter how badass you are, you must have felt his pain over the loss of his brother, and if he doesnt win this weekend who knows what that might do to him, a loss here would be hard, so I worry for him.
But do not discount Tony because he will die in there. He will put it all out there for himself, his family, his country, and his fans and even if he doesnt pull it off this weekend, he will show more heart in defeat than Cotto can in Victory. He will have more fans than ever before. I know many of you know this to be true, Margo fans or not. He's gonna shock many, including his own fans and followers. Spread some rep if you believe it too. Not for me, but just to back up my man Margo.

I like both these guys but after watching Tony walk through bomb after bomb in the Cintron rematch i think he takes Cotto out inside 7 rounds probably round 5.I will be rooting for Tony its taken me a while to split these guys for who i would be rooting for but now i know its Tony.

Since moving to 147 Cotto has never demonstrated any issues with his chin.
In fact since the shift upward in weight Cotto has taken on his best opposition in Judah and Mosely, one an extremely hard gitter, the other among boxings most accurate live punchers.
In both fights Cotto suffered severe bleeding inside his mouth due to punishment, yet he never seemeed rocked badly.
I think this confirms the theory that weight drain was affecting Cotto at the end of his Light Welterewight days.

Tony won't hit as hard as Judah, but he'll attempt to hit him much more frequently and many more times.
I think Tony is alot more dangerous than the average fighter, because he possesses more than respectable power he might not be a concussive puncher, but his accumulative effect happens alot sooner since his sheer mind blowing volume, but his punch selection is way underrated, he fills in the gaps better than anyone in the game and finishes with the best of them... If Tony so much as buzzes Cotto and makes his legs buckle like with Corley or Torres then the fight is over Margarito dosent waste a drop of his punches and they are all thrown with purpose...
