Thought I saw something on this on the ESPN ticker. Is this new? Surprised the hell out of me. I think it's soon, too. I didn't know Ruiz was still fighting. I wonder how they're going to sell that fight.

Sometimes I would rather stab myself in the eyeball's with dull pencils rather than sit through a Ruiz fight......But.....He is fugly effective and can win this one :-X
Why don't all the Wlad haters watch this fight???? And then shut the fuck up about Wlad being boring.....bastards
One of the worst match-ups, this will make Wlad/Thompson look like Vazquez/Marquez.
I'll go with Valuev by mid-round KO.
Ruiz keeps clinching and he'll be coughing up hairballs by the 4th round

Nooooooooooooooooo !!!!!!!! Nothing could be worse than this except a ruiz-valuev III match-up.
I'll watch it...;)
Lets face it! Wlad would destroy both of these so what is the point? The WBA piss me off. They are the original governing body but they are becoming the most laughable. The WBO who are generally regarded as being a minor body have to me become more of a realistic organization than all the others. They only have 1 champ in each division and their champs seem to want to make the mandatories of their belt than any other these days. Not to mention the longest reigning champ in boxing today has done so with the WBO strap.
I think that The Ring should become an official governing body as they have the best rankings IMO and I think that fighters would rather hold their belt than any other.
Valuev should win again

ikolai Valuev and John Ruiz would not stop staring at each other when they posed for the photographers following today´s press conference in Berlin. After two long minutes, they were finally separated by Wilfried Sauerland and Don King. “I think we will be seeing a very exciting fight on Saturday,” Sauerland predicted. Both fighters are brimming with confidence ahead of their rematch. “I feel like I won the first fight,” Ruiz said. “I am here in Germany to get the belt back. I have worked very hard in practice with my coach. I am in great shape and I will show that on Saturday.” His trainer, Manny Siaca Sr., was also confident of success. “On Saturday the two best heavyweight boxers will meet in the ring. But this time the ending will be different from their last meeting. You will see that John Ruiz will be world champion again.”The Russian Giant, however, has different plans. “It would take too long to describe all the things I have changed (in my game),” he stated. “I have prepared very hard and very long. I am in very good shape. I want to win!” Wilfried Sauerland warned everyone not to underestimate the 36-year-old former champion. “I saw Samuel Peter´s fight against Jameel McCline. Peter went down three times. But then McCline clearly lost to Ruiz on points.” Don King also praised Ruiz´ performance against McCline. “John did a great job,” the US promoter stated. “He is here to win. He will be in great shape. All eyes will be on Berlin. We can expect a great fight.”

this couldnt be a hot fight if we set both of them on fire .
Ruiz actually looks leaner than I've seen him.
Not sure if thats good.
He'll need weight to be succesful against the wooly mammoth Valuev
Valuev 317.7, Ruiz 238.9!

I'm all for body hair... usually against shaving it but once you get like Valuev I think you have to just cut your losses... say fuck it and get a wax...
I laughed at the prediction of this being an exciting fights... it has fugly written all over it :-X
Sheesh, you could hold X-Games BMX events on Valuev's forehead.
He should braid all that hair on his arms, that would look cool:p
It don't matter how boring or how ugly it is we will all be watching, I say Valuev by UD.
fao anyone who cares
this fight can be seen tomorrow live on nuts tv channel 207 at 8pm
When i saw heats up i though ruiz started trying to make love to him already...ruiz is gonna try and fight this time, drop the assumptions that he hugs and that will have him fighting a style he isn't used to, and he'll loose.
Another sleeper...
On livestream they say this fight will be played at 11:00 European time.So what the hell time is that in America 5:00. Help me out brother's.

Ive been watching the extra factor . Just turned over now and its Scott Gammer fighting . The guy who Danny Williams knocked out .
The crowd are as enthusiastic as ever !
The thought of this fight makes me feel tired. No way I'm watching this contest. Valuev boring UD is written all over it.
Scott gammer just quit inbetween rounds. Now it should be time for the big 1 ;D
You can cut the tension with a knife. There certainly is an electricity in the air when theres a heavyweight title fight !!!!!!!!!!!
