The only fight that makes sense @ 147 is...

Alright...this might piss alot of peeps off... (& NO I HAVE NOT BEEN DRINKIN'...) but it should'nt because in the end...bar none I'm an Oscar fan & not one of the others...but I'm giving 'em respect...so pipe down pissers!!!

Let me say this...I aint a Pac fan...I aint a Margarito fan...I'll give 'em respect...but they just aint my cup of tea...that being said...they both keep making statements...or recently have...so why fight Oscar? I love Oscar...but he's spent & he aint nuttin' but a honey pot with deep pockets.

Pacquiao vs Margarito would make dollars & a hell of a lot more sense due to the fact that Pacquiao keeps on conquering & Margarito just destroyed what many considered to be the captain of the 147 flagship.

Fwock fighting Oscar...do the right thing...plus...poor Bob Arum needs more dollars & so therefor...the fight make sense.

I actually find this interesting. Pacquaio is so quick and he can fight forever, I think even if he could hurt David Diaz that he could have foughten 20 rounds that night. Then again he is fighting Margarito... Like I said an interesting proposition, Lets see Pacquaio at 147 first, but people are forgetting that they thought mayweather would be insane to fight at 147 or 154.

Why do you want to see a public execution, no slight to Pac, hes a warrior, but the size diff is just crazy.

Insane no disrespect but thats a crazy match up Antonio Margarito who is 5'11 massive Welterweight against a fighter who hasn't even fought at Jr Welterweight and is 5'6 ? it would be like a man vs boy...........

The only fight that makes sense at 147 is Antonio Margarito vs Floyd Mayweather/Antonio Margarito vs Zab Judah vs Joshua Clottey/ Antonio Margarito vs Andre Berto.............

Why do boxing fans keep wanting Manny Pacquiao to move up ? i would rather see Manny Pacquiao fight the top Lightweights.

I think Oscar is the more dangerous fight for Pacquaio, harder puncher, way faster, better boxer, harder to hit. Pacquaio could move all night unlike Cotto, and he moves a lot better than Cotto.

If Zab beats Clottey then id like to see him fight Margarito.

I dont see any way in which Pac could win this fight.

Pac does not have to knock him out. he just got to tag him and move and im sure pac can do that all night. tony would get scraped all night til the final bell not finding pac enough to beat him. ;)

Bob Arum just had one of his golden geese killed by Margarito. One self-inflicted promotional disaster is unfortunate but two is unforgivable. Can't see Arum rushing to make this one somehow.

My sentiments too. Plenty of fights for both guys, Pac V ODLH is bollocks as well IMO. I wouldn't mind Marg V ODLH since it's a dec ent fight.

Pac needs to fight at least once more at lightweight IMO then chase Hatton. Even coming through that he'd be superman to go after the big guys at 147.

Well he did never fought top quality opponents at 140 or 147.
I could only credit his win over hatton like if that fight was at 140 and Judah at 147.

But he never fought Margo, Cotto or Mosley.

I really would feel very sorry for Manny Pac if this fight happened. If Cotto who has power and what showed to be considerable boxing skills couldnt beat Margarito, how the heck can Manny Pac do it? Margarito looked huge compared to Cotto imagine what he would look like against Pac?

I said.. Pac is taking a big RISK moving up because of the MASSIVE money he will earn. The HUGE money against Hatton or Oscar make the risk of getting battered worthwhile. If the money wasn't/isn't HUGE he has no need to, or will, move up in weight.
