Antonio Margarito

Boxrec is an absolutely fantastic tool for researching fights that have happened, but it is crap for telling you about upcoming bouts and just shows random nonsense.
:D
i hope this is true (tho boxrec says he has a fight 14 days after the judah date)
after the clottey fight as horrible as that night was i remembered 1 thing that made the night less awful...
judah will ALWAYS be back on HBO or PPV
IT DOESNT MATTER WHAT HAPPENS :D:D:D
Looks like Judah is in for a beating. I rather see Margarito rematch either Williams or Clottey
I've been away, completely isolated from boxing for pretty much the last week.
I check up Boxrec this morning to see who won the Judah fight amd see a loss in the ninth.
Then I see he is scheduled to fight Margarito in November.
Whatever contract Zab signed at the start of his contract was a kind one.
:deal2:
If only every boxer had the "6th Chance Clause" in their contract.
I just posted something similar!
Not many get as many shots as Zab has.. It seems like a phenomenon in itself.. It's as if he is still one of the top winning fighters.. Just he doesn't win..
However, it's almost a curse on him that he can't win a fight, as I do think that he fights well and has the talent.. He always seems to fall short about 15%, but the thing is you can always picture him actually being able to make up that 15% and win.. Just he doesn't do it and continually falls short..
I think he's a good opponent for some of the guys out there and generally makes a good fight.. But the poor guy has to add 20% to his game, and he'd be topping almost everyone..
Pity, I think they are trying to end Zab Judah once and for all.
It would be funny as shiet if Judah got lucky and knocked out Tony ;D
(Not in a million years, I know... But it would be funny)
I think he does make a good fight, but I feel he's done nothing to merit a title shot or even a title eliminator.
Had Zab gone away and beaten someone like Baldomir or Quintana...sure give him a shot. But Zab hasn't won anything of note in a long long time.
It's impossible to end him with all the shots he's getting!
He's like the walking dead of the boxing world.
Boxing rec frequently gets it wrong. I would be surprised if Zab is fighting Margarito next. Zab is such a frustrating boxer. He is remarkably inconsistent. He should stay away from Margarito because there is no way Judah can hold him off. He would get beaten down.
I would consider the source, we all know that Boxrec likes to jump the gun. I think Zab was thrown in there, because there was speculation that Margarito would face the winner of Clottey/Judah next, and since Clottey might not be ready to fight in November, because of a torn bicep, I think they just gave the fight to Judah without any merit.
I hear that Goosen is offering $4 million for a rematch with Williams.
So I guess we'll have to wait and see.
Could Zab beat Tony? he has the boxing ability and movement to beat him and it would make him number1 so he would be 100% motivated but i say no he can't
Did you see the fight Donny???
Looked like Judah quit to me because thought he would win a decision.
Has to be and should be an error.Time for Judahs family to step in and have an intervention Lol.....Im sure he enjoys solid foods :beatup2:
If that happened it would, to me, be about as funny as finding out I had nut cancer. Watching one of my all time least favorite fighters beat one of my all time favorite fighters would probably ruin me. I'd be like PANTERA and jet right out of here;D
Tony would be Zab's worst nightmare. Zab crumbles under pressure fighters and Tony is the worst of them in the WW div. Cotto did everything but throw a 50# dumbell at Tony and he still kept coming; what is Zab going to do?
I hope this fight gets made just for sadistic reasons.
Watching Zab fight Tony would be the same as Ring magazine described Valuev fighting anyone else. "like a bear mauling a camper" Zab crumbled under mayweather and he's the opposite of a pressure fighter. Marg would have Zab doin his best impression of Michael Spinks against Tyson in the corner waiting for the bell.
I love and hate that fight if it true, it will be an exciting first 4 rounds then it will be the final execution of Zab Judah, and while it will further increase Toni's image as a killer, it will also make him have a harder time trying to get the bigger fights, although the "bigger names" (Mayweather & Delahoya) are done anyway and the young guns (Williams, Berto, Clottey) all want MArgarito.
So I guess you could call a Margarito/Judah fight a tune up.
