neither will I, I think its a disgrace, the only ppv's should be world title fights/superfights not a fight between an untested potential world title fighter and a pretty much unknown padded opponent i dont care how good the undercard is. Frank Warren your a c*nt, hopefully the buyrates will do shite and they will keep more fights off ppv. The only reason i fork out for sky sports and setanta is for boxing (and the odd bit of football but that doesnt bother me) i dont expect to have to pay an extra £15 for that!!!

Im planning on getting a ticket for this fight night in at the MENs arena.The tickets ive seen for sale are at a good price and also include travel expenses to.Khan's next opponant is top draw.....So John Murray is'nt a good enough opponant for Khan to be tested with:-\.....Of course he is.It'll be Khans hardest challenge i think!

Thankfully I don't have Sky. Khan's opponent Breidis Prescott has a completely padded record and was fortunate to win his last fight. (Teddy Atlas scored against him).
He's beaten 9 opponents who have never beaten anyone.

I phoned sky today as i had a problem with my sports channels and i said why are Setanta getting all the big fights and why Khan is on PPV. He put me through to a guy at programming and he said basically that Sky spent so much on Premiership football that cuts else where were needed.
I was going to go to the fights but decided against it. I'll buy it but only because ive never missed an Alex Arthur fight.
Its fucking ridiculous having to pay for this one though. :(

Warren has gone with sky to maximise the earning potential and is going to milk Amir for the next few fights.When Hatton was with Warren building his career on sky they weren't PPV's when he was fighting the likes of Vince Phillips and Dennis Pedersen so why are Khan's fights ? Hopefully someone does a write up on here but I dont expect any of teh fights will be decent . If Prescot was any good then they wouldnt have put Khan in with him . Rogan and Audley may be interesting but its not ppv quality by any means and Alex Arthur is no good so pretty much a pathetic card .
I won't be forking out for this!!

I think Frank Warren has made a bad call in promoting this fight as PPV on Sky, I don't feel Khan has enough of a fan base to warrant this at present. Or maybe Frank's trying to cash in whilst he can, until such time Amir is matched against a World Class opponent who will explote his limitations on the world stage. No won't be buying that fight.

I think you may be right ready to rumble. Maybe Khan has been kocked out in sparring as well as the fight knockdowns, maybe Warren is aware Khan has a serious punch resistance problem. ( Watson in amateurs, powder puff Limond and blown up Gomez all dropped him legitamately )

I think someone mentioned it anoether thread, but it really does seem as they're trying to get as much money out of him as possible as not even they believe he can really make, and judging by the opposition they're certainly not preparing him for the best. And it's a HELL NO by the wayabout this ppv. I'll be encouraging the local pubs not to dish out as well.Quote:

As the guy (boxingwriter) from that link said - the win percentage of these imported fighters is ridiculousy low (understandably).. and Khan being a 1/20 shot is BEST odds. The bookies expect around 4 rounds max. Great PPV.
