Campbell is best against fighters that stand in front of him. Juan Diaz, Kid Diamond. He has trouble against movers. Guzman style is all wrong for him. Which is why I think he's the under dog
Joan Guzman is the real deal, I think it should be a tough fight but one that he will win. Guzman by UD :D.
Guzman has a great chin, good ring generalship, good defence, good midsection, can throw a lot of good combination, picks up his shots very well and has a good trainer in mayweather sr. We can say he is an outstanding boxer. His record says it all.
His only problem is, after finally moving up all the way from the 122 pnds. division: his power seemed to diminish, though not his boxing skills. (e.g.: jandaeng fight.)
He also can be branded as cocky sometimes especially to "not so special fighters", and just to prove to the critics and the boxing audience that he can be marketable, he has the penchant to go brawling with his foe leaving himself wide open.
His notable accomplishments are ko'eing the late agapito sanchez, beating jorge barrios, and humberto soto in decisions.
He has been openly challenging the pacman since pac's ko win against em in their second fight.
I think that Lightweight may well be a step too far for him. I hope not because I like him but he seemed to have lost all his power at superfeather so I think he may be very ineffective (punch wise) at lightweight.
His only ace is to use the ring and move against fighters with the style of nate. I may also add that guz has great handspeed so that can be his advantage on heavier opponents at lw.Quote:

Guzman I think is the best lightweight out there . Its out of him and Casa but I go with Guzman for being younger and quicker. Campbell is the hardest opponent out there for him but I think he wins on points
Marquez and Pac couldnt beat Guzman but Guz might not ever get chance cuz he is so avoided.
I agree he is the best lightweight out there right now, he is a watered down PBF IMO. I do think JMM and PAC has a big chance of beating him though, Guzman has not fought any fighter with Marquez's and PAC's combination of speed and power that can land multiple power shots on him. Soto definitely had the chance but Guzman proved to be too elusive and fast.Quote:
