<- Margarito-Clottey II & JCC Jr.-Vanda II @ Dodger Stadium? ->
Nothing official yet, but Dodgers Stadium in Los Angeles could be the scene of an Antonio Margarito vs. Joshua Clottey rematch. Another rematch in demand that’d make the card is one between Julio Cesar Chavez, Jr. (37-0, 29 KOs) and Matt Vanda (38-7, 21 KOs).

Sounds good to me, I'm just a hop, skip and a jump away from Chavez Ravine... :cool:

Yeh Buddy. At Dodger Stadium ;D Your a lucky man Mick.....need some more Ringside 1st person camera work Lol.I love this rematch and Believe Tony will pull away late for a wide win.Lets just hope Clottey, once again does not injure his hands on Margaritos skull :fight:. Tony is in a zone and Clottey will have to double his workrate Imo.

I agree, if we can get both of them at 100% it will be one for the ages.
Steel chins + great output = great battle!! :jabbing:

Yeah, yeah. My brother brought this to my attention earlier today. If it's at Dodger Stadium we without a doubt there. Dodger Stadium damn near in my back yard
Re: <- Margarito-Clottey II & JCC Jr.-Vanda II @ Dodger Stadium? ->
:lol:.....Go all King Kong Bundy on there arse with the chairs....:fight: They have plenty!
Good heads up Mick.Clottey showed a methodical breakdown of resume fluffer Judah last outing,pretty solid all around.Quality return match , endurance vs. Endurance but I see a repeat....only not so edgy close this time with Margarito taking it.;D

Clottey is not the same Clottey I once enjoyed. Can't say I liked the first fight but I guess it should be of that these two meet again due to the fact that Tony was suffering from an injury during training camp and then later hurt his hand and so did Clottey so I hope both fighters are healthy and injury free so we can get a nice fight. Sure I am interested, why not.
Vanda panda and Jr should be a good fight and I think we shall get more of the same. I am looking for both fighters to work on their cardio and conditioning if not we are going to get another fight of two light middle weights slugging it out like heavy weights again ;D I enjoyed the first fight for sure. I thought Jr said he was going to retire? Mick what is the scoop on your boy Jr? Fill me in. I know he was very dissapointed in himself after his fight with Banda, how does he feel today? I have not kept up.

Gonna be a war. I wouldn't be surprised to see Clottey break his hands again on Tony's head and lose in almost the same fashion as last time. It's not going to be easy taking that belt and position away from Tony right now.

More then anything it had to do with his performance + the way the crowd reacted.
At the end of the fight he was disappointed but then add the way the crowd reacts and he just about wanted to kill himself.
He said he tried and he fought with all he could until he couldn't throw no more. He also said that maybe boxing was not his thing he was not meant to be a great boxer like his dad.
I said this when Jr. got the draw vs. Molina that the best thing that could happen to him is get a loss. It will take away a lot from the weight on his shoulders...
Look at Paez Jr. he got sparked out by a devastating left hook vs. Guevara and he learned from that and has moved past it.

I can't believe how Jr's entourage and Senior started jumping into the stands and just picking people off with blows. They did not show the mini riot on tv but I caught the full riot on a spanish network the next day ;D the shiet was funny as phuk. I can't say I continued to watch Paez jr because he was nothing like his father either and I wanted to so badly see another Paez Sr but I guess that mold was broken too :( As you know I liked Paez Sr very much and I know you did too. I think you are right though, this should light a new fire in Chavez jr's ass too so no doubt we shall be watching this fight against Vanda if it get's signed ;) Been a long time since I have been to Dodger Stadium and I sure miss them Dodger Dogs ;D
Re: <- Margarito-Clottey II & JCC Jr.-Vanda II @ Dodger Stadium? ->
Dodger Stadium has been put forward for a number of big fights in recent times.
There was a lot of speculation that Calzaghe Hopkins could have been put on there.
Obviously they want to get in on the action that Vegas has been enjoying.
Re: <- Margarito-Clottey II & JCC Jr.-Vanda II @ Dodger Stadium? ->
Margarito-Clottey II is not a stadium fight, regardless of who is on the undercard.
If Arum really wants a fight at Dodger Stadium, then the fight that should go there is DLH-Pacquiao. That fight could sellout Dodger Stadium and would have an awesome atmosphere.
Re: <- Margarito-Clottey II & JCC Jr.-Vanda II @ Dodger Stadium? ->
I'll have every excuse in the book to be down in L.A. if that fight happens.
Re: <- Margarito-Clottey II & JCC Jr.-Vanda II @ Dodger Stadium? ->
it would be awesome if they pull this off
Re: <- Margarito-Clottey II & JCC Jr.-Vanda II @ Dodger Stadium? ->
Margarito Clottey 2 sounds great maybe HBO will make it PPV
but JCC JR who? ;D
maybe for Mexicans but I actually don't like to pay to see him IMO.
I pay for MArquez and Margarito and to fighters like that. But hey that's just me
