I'm a big fan of metal, but I'm not a big fan of Metallica, and I've liked almost nothing they've done since the Black album. I've heard one or two of their new songs and I have not been impressed to be honest.
Not to be a dick, but this should be in one of the many off-topic forums.
Sorry sir :-X. Just trying to get some opinions. I'll do that.
MY opinion is that Metallica peaked at Justice, Black album is past prime at best, everything after is pretty weak and pop formula even the heavier stuff.
I also like some good metal, but I'm a music snob.

Anyone into Cavalera Conspiracy, if you like old Sepultura you will love this band because its Max and Igor back together doing what they do best.
