I really think Arthur is getting destroyed on Saturday night. I've never rated him, to me he's marginally better than Scottish welterweight Kevin Anderson.

But when I heard that Wayne McCulloch is training him I just had visions of the great Gatti Micky Ward partnership :rolleyes:

I think he's going to get completely outboxed and Ko'd in about 10 rounds.

Anyone else see this fight going this way?

I actually think he's gonna spark out Cookie...

Arthurs got heart IMO, I like fighters like him who can punch and get the KO and also be dropped themselves...

He always makes for exciting fights which is why I like watching him.

I thought Cookie would beat Luevano when they fought matter a fact I was almost 100% sure Cookie would win but what a bad showing that was for him. Considering Luevanos not a hard puncher and put him down that many times I think when Arthur connects it's lights out Cookie.

I'm taking Cook by UD. If he doesn't get caught

Neither are even close to being World class , but if Arthur getting knocked out pisses Warren off then I'm cheering for Cook.;D

I really thought that Cookie would be world class at this stage.

On the undercard of Audley vs. Richel Hersisia, Cooke looked damn impressive and I was a fan from then on.

However, Luevano revealed a few startling facts about Cooke. His tolerance for punishment is not what I thought and he's vulnerable to many's the flash knockdown.

I hope he takes this, but if he does its merely introducing him to opposition that he doesn't want to know.

Cook was struggling with the featherweight limit for the Luevano fight (not that that is an excuse for his defeat - he got outclassed) which probably explains him being hurt so frequently.

I think Arthur is overrated bigtime.

You can back Cook at 10/3 (Arthur 1/5).. that's gotta be a good bet win or lose. :cool:

WOW!! They are great odds!! I was thiniking more like Arthur 4/7 or 1/2 but 1/5 wtf!!!

That is great value might stick £20 big ones on Cook, i really seeing this being 50/50, all depends on how Cook comes back after the big defeat last time.

I agree with Bilbo Arthur very over rated.

wow these odds really are crazy imo, 10/3, 11/4, 3/1. I see this as a pick em fight so to have odds that wide simply amazes me.

just checking Katsidis is 11/4 against Juan Diaz which is pretty good odds as well, although I do believe Diaz will smash him, still 11/4 is great odds considering Diaz was overpowered and shot down by Nate Capmbell last time out and Katsidis although beaten did manage to punch Casamayor out of the ring.

I'm very suprised the bookies have such wide odds on both these fights.

You can get 9/1 for Prescott to beat Khan, which I guess sums up what the bookies think about this step up and Prescott's much vaunted punching power......

I couldn't believe the Cook odds. It's a good bet.

I make Katsidis overpriced too. I think Diaz will probably win - but Katsidis must be the bet considering Diaz style will suit him.

If Prescott does upset Khan it will be by KO. At prices around the 100/1 mark.. some shrapnel on the early rounds is my bet.

I want to bet but as I've found out many times in my life, the universe conspires against me. Cook will win by KO if I don't bet but if I do he'll get mauled in a few rounds.

as much i would love to see Alex get spared there is noooooo way its going to happen... you can get decent odds on it too but i decided to pass this one and throw my pay check on khan getting knocked out.

Cook i shit, fourth class fighter at best, alex is well 3rd, has enough to beat cook.

Arthur imo is the better boxer but i just think Cook will suit the weight better where as Arthur will struggle;)

Marco has worked with Warren b4 so Frank has been promising his fighters a shot at Barrera for some time. Hasnt materialised yet . Hes just dangling it as a carrot so they perform . I hope it does happen cuz it will save me a trip to China but I seriously doubt Frank can put up a better offer than King . Marco will want alot of money to come to Scotland . Also on that China bill Andrew Golota will no longer be fighting Shannon Briggs. Shame really cuz I was looking forward to that
