Who out of these 3 china chin fighters.
Seen as Amir Kahn got sparked in WBO Intercontinental fight, i vote Mr Kahn.
I wouldn't say a prime Roy Jones Jr had a china chin...........
Floyd Patterson is one of my favorites and i don't think his chin as bad as people make out i know he got knocked down alot but that was at Heavyweight he was really natural Super Middleweight/Light Heavyweight he was far too small at Heavyweight and didn't belong at that weightclass it just goes to show how good he really was that a natural Super Middleweight/Light Heavyweight can go down in history as one of the greatest Heavyweight champions of all time.........
Amir Khan for certain has the weakest chin out of all 3.
haha a prime roy jones jr, you say that like he had been through wars and his punch res had gone down... he had amazing talent, but clearly a shit chin... he was just to good for anyone to expose it in his prime.
As for khan, how can you put him into this mix? there are to great champions and a freaking "prospect"
there are plenty of shit chins out there, there were just never over hyped...
He took flush punches off Montel Griffin, Bernard Hopkins, Mike McCallum, etc i never made out he had a great chin but it certainly wasn't a china chin and the shot he got KO'ed by Antonio Tarver was a great shot and thats nothing to be ashamed of but the Glen Johnson shot was not that hard and i actually think he got hurt more when he went down because his head hit the canvas hard but his punch resistance had already gone by then.
Khan obviously
Jones and Floyd were two of the best fighters in history
Khan only because its a list of 3 and why Jones is their is beyond me??? anyone remember Scrap Iron Ryan weak chin eat your heart out
Jones never had a bad chin.Paterson got knocked out at world level and Khan got spanked before he got to world level.
I put Jones on there because when he finally stepped up and fought world-class opposition he got sparked. (A weight drained Toney aside) His fights at his so-called peak were against hmm i`ll be nice.. questionable opposition.
So your saying Antonio Tarver and Glen Johnson are better than.
Bernard Hopkins = Roy Jones Jr was more green.
James Toney = Always had weight problems still doesn't change the fact he was top 3 P4P.
Virgil Hill
ETC.
I honestly don't think you know a whole lot about Roy Jones record you praise Joe Calzaghe's record but you constantly say Roy Jones Jr's record is full of bums which is ridiculous if your praising Joe Calzaghe's resume which is far worse than Roy Jones's record.
I'd have to say Kizzy Khan as the other two had decent chins.
Jones didnt have a weak chin, it wasnt great, but not weak, it is a totally different case to Khan,
Khan has been rocked numerous times by nobodies like that Frenchman,
Jones caught got with flush shots on the chin by Tarver and Johnson,
RJJ should not be on that list.
So he got sparked out twice late in his career so what.
He did have more fights then just those 2.
Anyway from those 3 I would say Amir.
All time it could very well be Firpo which if by my resarch is correct he visited the canvas a total of *21 times in 39 fights.
*According to my research.
stupid 3 to compare.
1. RJJ didnt have a dodgy chin at all , it was late in his career , and after he had shed lots of weight , that he got KOED.
2. Patterson was a small guy fighting in a division were he was often up againest guys 2 stone heavier than him , Liston was a big puncher from instance , who could well have KOED lots of champions for other era's.
3. Amir Khan is a hyped fighter , Prescott also is a novice in world terms , we will have to see how good Prescott turns out to be , but i dont think he is that special or has the power at the top his record suggests.
Simple fact is , like it or not , Khan was floored by Limond a guy with 1 stoppage win in his 19 wins. This was a warning sign , and myself like many others on here , said as soon as Khan fights a guy with a good chin and power he will get KOED. Well he did and as far as im concernd he has a glass jaw and will be KOED each time he fights at the very top.
KHAN IS THE ANSWER TO THE QUESTION. ( GLASS JAW ).
Man is this a joke thread dude what is up with choices dude come on. I dont have a problem with Jones and Patterson being up there. But why is Khan name even in the smae thread dude come on now. Now if you added like a Tommy Hearns or like a Terry Norris even then i my take this thread like it was not a joke. Anyhow bag on Roy names is alright but coming from a man who praise Calzaghe let me say this to you. People who live in glass houses should not throw stones think that while help you out dude.
Khan has the worst chin.
lol.
A thread about bad chins and you go on about glass houses?
3 have poor chins i wondered if everyone thought the same as me that Khan has the worst chin i have seen. Patterson has been down more than any champion in history so i added his name. What would the point be of adding some Joe Bloggs that was like 9-103 that no-one heard of?

Compare there records from this.
I voted Patterson.
I agree with everyone about the names being apples and oranges.
But, I picked Patterson. Afterall, he chose to fight where he chose to fight. You can say he was in against bigger guys, but before Tyson he was the youngest heavyweight world champion.
The man got knocked down SEVEN times in the span of three rounds. That makes him (for me) the worst chin on the list. No one forced him to be a heavyweight.
jones should not be on this poll you should have put chico corrales RIP because he got knocked down alot by floyd and twice in the same round by castillo but he still won that fight
Floyd Pattersom may have had a questionable chin but the guy had a huge heart. To fight Liston twice after being demolished in the first fight took guts... Liston was a scary guy.
To get knocked down 7 times in a fight means you have got back up at least 6 times... 6 times.... suspect chin yes... heart the size of a small island certainly.
Jones - got Ko'd past his best.
Khan - questionable to say the least but it's his leaky defence and inexperience that leaves his chin out to dry to take a shot flush.
So erm basically I don't know which has the worst chin ;D
Khan by a mile, for me Jones chin is not that bad, he got caught cold by Tarver after coming down from heavyweight but no way I'd call him china chin'd, Patterson had a bad chin at Heavy but in fairness for a little guy he wasn't that bad, the only ones that managed to stop him were Liston, Ali and Johannson all who could really bang.
What about Roger Mayweather ? Still puzzled as to how he stood up distance with Tszyu in late stage.........He is one that had both highlight reel KO wins as well as Losses;D
