Carl Froak: Amir Khan had it coming hes a con!

CARL FROCH insists Amir Khan's defeat to Breidis Prescott was NOT a shock.

Khan, 21, saw his unbeaten record destroyed in just 54 seconds in Manchester on Saturday night.
And Froch believes it was just a matter of time before the Bolton fighter came unstuck.
The undefeated super-middleweight said: "I didn't order the fight as I couldn't agree with it being a pay-per-view event.
"But watching the highlights on the news it looked like Amir had been hit with a lump hammer.

Carl isn't a Froak. What a stupid thing to say. He hasn't had the chance to face a world ranked fighter. Is that his fault ? Hell no. Inkin ducked him twice and Calzaghe doesn't want a part of him. I agree in a away Lee, i think Froch would fight anyone at anytme, but i dont think he has been promoted the best i mean come on you have to admit how old is he 30/31? He has fought no one, which is a shame.

Totally agree he has called out Joe Calzaghe many times he was supposed to fight Jermain Taylor, Dennis Inkin, but they both pulled out so it isn't Froch's fault he is willing to the best im not a big fan of his style but we have to be fair here.

It's a funny quote. Froch will be next, as soon as somebody decent decides to shut his mouth.

Calzaghe offered him the date that eventually Manfredo took and Froch bottled it. He's never had the bottle to step up to world level and that's why he's 31 and still an untested prospect. The only thing world class about him is the size of his mouth.

Has Froch lost his spot on Sky? I would be suprised if he was still fighting on Sky after slagging them off for putting Khan on PPV.

I agree with what he said though. I always thought Khan looked like he had the tools offensively but he never looked great taking a shot just watch this shot he took off Craig Watson in an amateur bout!

Fuck Froch. He's been saying Joe's name since he was a 10 fight novice. Summer of 2007 he was offered the fight even though he'd done jack SHIT to earn it. whether there were options involved or not he was offered a career high purse, if he was so genuinely confident of beating Joe why not take the fight even if Frank has a say in your future?

I like Carl Froch, but it's very distasteful for him to talk about another professional like that! he should keep his negative opinions to himself.

I mean I'd understand if they were the same weight class and rivals (he may say this if Joe loses) but him and Khan have no chance of ever meeting in a ring so why the hate?

Maybe (and this is a wild guess) that Froch think's Khan is an overhyped, overpaid, thicko from Bolton. And rather than said him his best regards he's told it how it is. Froch has a big gob alright but I agree with every word.
