All i got to say is WTF is that jacket Ricky!!
Couple more of Ricky and cheif sparring partner Steve Forbes, and Rickys guest of houour the late Diego Corrales wife Michelle.
just come on here to post some i got from Hogan photos
this one below was the one that intrested me the most....
Ricky looks like shit, double chin, hands look like he has been punching a fence in anger and his skin looks shit.
Malignaggi looks like hes ready to fight tomorrow.
OK i know ricky always looks like shit inbetween fights and this is an over hyped easy defence.... BUT I THINK HES GONNA GET STUFFED.
the hunger has gone IMO and the easy money fights and milking the loyal fans are here... but for me he's gonne lose.
added to that he didnt turn up for one of the PC and this is a fight he would win hands down in the past...but he looks like shit and its all about the $$$.
Malignaggi all the way for me as he wants it more ;)
Ricky does look like shit and i think you might be right, there could be an upset, i was looking at the bookmakers odds and when this fight was first announced it was like Ricky at 1/5 on, now he is 2/5 which shows not a great deal of confidence in Rickys chances.
I got a gut feeling that this is where Rickys career comes to an end, i really hope im wrong but when was the last time he did a solid 12 rounds like the one against Kosta? Yes thats right that fight over three years ago.
I dont like this 5 weeks over here 5 weeks over there training bullshit either, i mean Ricky is not the most disciplined of fighters at the best of times, look at his admissions on the Collzao fight where he said he was eating shit leading upto the fight because he didnt have to be strict about the weight coming off.
I think with him not having Graham and Kayes there everyday and him training some weeks in Manchester and some in Vegas it might be the wrong thing to do.
Also this no show at the original press confrence? Bit dodgy if you ask me, cant be certain but he was fine the same night and watched the fight between Marquez and Cassamayor? Dont want to start speculating as we have no evidence but was Ricky on the beer the night before?
Some day,the between fight siesta's will catch up with Hatton.Certainly hope it does not come verse Paulie.I actually thought Hatton was shite-faced during his live interview with Mario Lopez.........just messy.
IMO paulie better tuck that chin in and thicken his make up coz ricky is gonna send all the residue flying. ricky trains hard when he's preparing for a fight so powerpuff better step up too. IMO ricky flattens paula along with his spikes
Wasnt it true Hatton missed the presser on account of an illness?
To me he looks just like a guy who recently got over the flu.
Ricky's finer days may be slipping behind him, but he's going to beat the everliving bejeesus out of Paulie.
look how fat his hands are :o
Lots of Paulie pics and not an extension in sight!! This is good news.
I wanted this fight for a long time, but after their recent performances, I think Hatton is gonna take a wide UD over the Magic Man.
And directly after that try for a guest appearance on Miami Vice II

Hatton wins this in my opinion but i wouldn't be shocked to see Paulie win as he has got balls he proved that vs Cotto.
Yes Ricky is looking a bit rough but he always does in between fights.
In the past he has always proved the doubters wrong where it counts,in the ring.
We will know for certain on fight night.
Come 2wks before the fight Hatton will be looking like a monster and all of this will be forgotten. I still think Hatton wants to add to his legacy he has a great resume and if he "cashing out" he would not be fighting Paulie who is a huge risk and not so huge reward.
If Hatton is 60% of what he was 3yrs ago he will batter Paulie all over the ring.
By picking Mayweather snr i think it shows Hatton wants to learn and still has the hunger left in him.It would of been easyer to pick Lee Beard as his main trainer seen as he has worked with Ricky in the past.
I'm a big Hatton fan and would love to see him win but I don't think he will. He looked poor in his last fight with Lazcano, (as he has in many fights of late) a fight which was supposed to make Rick look good after his loss.
Paulie by decision, and I agree with what Saddo said, he wants it more than Ricky does.
I don't think Ricky looks any different to his usual bloated drunkard self.
Even if he's lost it a bit (which is surely the case), he should still beat Powderpuff.
Powderpuff not only doesn't have a single piece of form to warrant his lofty status he is coming into the fight on (arguable) back-to-back losses - at the very least awful performances.
I pretty much agree with this. Ive only seen Malignaggi fight 4 times, the most impressive was against Cotto when he lost. I am fairly bemused by his lofty status in the fight game but I suppose the Hatton fight will give him the perfect opportunity to prove doubters like me wrong.
Paulie stands no chance
I think if anything Hatton might be taking him lightly and thats because he can!!
I have said it before Paulie cant punch for shit so Hatton has nothing to fear, he will chase him down all night, leading with his face and smahing his body, I see Hatton winning by late stoppage or wide UD
I also dont think Hatton fights purely for the money, The people around him want to milk the fans for as much as possible but I genuinely think hatton wants to fight to seal his reputation, he has easier ways of making money now and its not like he spends what he has now, he has moved house once and lives less than 100 yards from where he lived before he started boxing
How can anyone on this earth ofther than Hatton himself would know how much Hatton wants this? i find it crazy when people say stuff like that. Hatton will want this fight for his fans more than anything and bringing in Mayweather Sr means Hatton doesnt just want a payday as Sr would be demanding at least a cool mill.
As for Hatton looking bad... no he looked good rounds 4-10 and got caught. Put it this way Hatton looked 100x better beating Lazcano than Paulie did beating Ngougo and Ndou. I actually thought Ngougo beat him.
Yet you presume to know how much he wants it. Fenster's right, Paulie's been built up to something he isn't. His punches won't bother Hatton, however there's a good chance Hatton's won't bother Paulie much either, as limited as he is he can take a very respectable shot.
I don't know why people are using "Paulie wants it more" as something to favour Paulie in the fight. Hatton wanted it more than Mayweather in their fight. Even Shane Mosely and Bernard Hopkins said that. And look what happened there. You can have all the want in the world but if you ain't got the skills and talent then you'll fall short. Just like Paulie will.
Paulie is gonna spin Fatton around the ring. I'm a Hatton fan but he's not the same fighter that cut KT down.
IMO it's gonna be a MD for Paulie as Ricky will keep it close but Paulie's superior foot work, handspeed and durability will win the day on a wearing and aging Hitman.
Hope to god Paulie wins i really do not like Hatton think he so overated he is no better then Gatti he rides on beating a 36 year old great.
Well Boston were would you put him to me his best wins vs TK and then his win over Castillo who was shot to hell and back. I think if you look at the over all career of Hatton and Gatti you while see they are pretty much even when it comes to what they did and titles they held. I may be wrong i look up both of them and see if i miss judged it but i do not think i did.
Oh really how so why dont you show what Hatton has done to make him so much more acomplished then Gatti i want titles and names please.
Hatton competion was weak till TK and TK was a old version who was in active that is the only elite he ever beat and do not get me started on Castillo he was a shell and beyond shot he look horrible that night. Say what you want about Gattie but alot of the people he lost to i give good chance of beaten The Hitman Hatton.
I can't argue tat the two mens' careers do mirror eachother a bit, I'll say this...
Gatti is alway touted around here as "over-rated"... How? He was never going to be a #1 P4P... I thought he'd connect with at least a few punches that would hurt Mayweather... I was the one that was wrong there... But I did not think he'd win the fight nonetheless.
I always see Gattie for exactly what he was, a tough boxer/puncher... Whe he boxed he boxed well. He wouldn't so much lose focus as just say "to hell with this" and go after the SOB on the other side of the ring.
They are very similar in the respect that they blow up and don't treat their bodies well in between fights(though Gatti got better with this in the last quarter of his career)
Hatton has wins over a similar type of opposition but the styles are totally different. Hatton a march down your throat winger who is way more a brawler then a boxer. He strictly mauls you into a shell and beats you.
Gatti could always switch... He could box your shoes off if he was on point... When he trained for a fight to come in and box he could do it superbly until he decided to dispatch it.
I give both men alot of credit for their accomplishments but the term...
"OVERRATED"
...is tossed around far to often...
Hatton although lossing to PBF made a fight of it the whole way through and kept it interesting... He in fact fough just as I suspected he would and the scorecards looked exactly like I thought they would with Hatton lossing many of them.
I though Hatton had a shot... Many of us did.
I thought Gatti had a shot too... He was just to far past it. A prime Gatti probably still would have gotten the trunks boxed off him but would have made him pay a bit.
Haton is the better fighter... This is why he wen as far as he did with Mayweather
I actually don't think these fighters are as overrated as many do. I do think that the spark has left Ricky and that he'll lose this fight... I think he's about done with the sport of boxing. Gatti gave the sport all he could and I don't think was ever expected by any to reign supreme in any divisiom... He was Arturo Gatti...
He lived in the Boardwalk Hall he built.
Hatton's fans will follow him to the end of the earth...
grossly overrated... Nah... To be loved and to be overrated are two totally different things
I said i hope Paulie will school him i did not say he would i said hope.
I think Maligfaggi is too slick and too fast for Hatton and will win via UD... ;)
.
You gotta love this site full of haters for Hatton, oh how things have changed from a couple of years ago, the guy looses to the best fighter/boxer in the world probably his generation, above his weight class and now he is shit, shot and gunna loose to Paulie lol.
This camp Rickys been over in the USA for six weeks not two like before he has been running 8 miles up hills not 5 miles round manchester, he came into camp not as fat/Bloated as usual, he has worked on the jab, head movement and his combos, not the bloody body belt, Floyd has been their all the way for him and his poems tell the story Paulie will be sucking on soup. Roll on Sunday going to be some fun reading the posts how Paulie lost his last two fights before Haton and how he couldnt get his game plan working and how Floyds a master tactics nullified all Paulie had and yes Ricks still past it Paulie was not a good a we thought lol, cracking place to read some jokers posts.
