Ok few things here one i thought Marquez beat Pacquiao twice hence why he is P4P number 1, and thats why Pacquiao has been dropped down few places. I thought Hopkins went 1-1 with Taylor and i thought he beat Calzaghe hence why he is P4P number 2, i thought R.Marquez drawed with Vasquez hence why he is only one place below Vasquez, I thought Ivan Calderon lost to Cazares first time around hence why he is a few places lower, And i thought Calzaghe lost to Reid and Hopkins, hence why he is lower also. And i thought Margarito beat Santos so thats why i got him higher than Pavlik.
Different.

I would still rank Pacquiao higher even if Marquez had got the decisions. The reason being that I do think that Pacquiao is better but Marquez is just a stylistic nightmare for him. The best example I can think of to compare is Junior Jones twice beating MAB, Jones shouldn't have been fit to lace Barrera's gloves yet he beat him twice. I'm not saying that Marquez isn't a class act (I rank him 3rd p4p) but I genuinly believe that Pac is the best p4p fighter in the world. Another example I suppose I could use is a lot of people (not me) thought that Castillo beat Mayweather but even if he had got the decision there is no way I could have ranked him above PBF in the p4p rankings its just that Castillo's style was one that Mayweather seemed to have a few problems with yet he destroyed people who beat Castillo such as Corrales and Hatton without too much trouble.
I hope this post doesn't make me sound like a JMM hater because I am far from it I just believe that Pac is the best in the world if Mayweather has retired!
1. Manny Pacquiao
2. Joe Calzaghe (until Jones beats him)

Reps for having said it well.
Re: A P4P List With A Twist.
Even if you thought Hopkins beat Calzaghe, on the split decision because apparently it was close, he would have only just squeeked past so Joe would only be 1 or 2 places behind him:rolleyes:
If Marquez did get the decision over Pacquiao then he wouldnt be behind just because he is a night mare for Manny, plus he just beat the better fighter compared to Mannys last opponent;D
Id say Marquez first, then Calzaghe, then Pacquiao and then id poison Hopkins for making so many fights unwatchable;D

I thought Calzaghe lost to Reid aswell which would effect his P4P status.

This is dumb, and your wrong on manyof the fights. Except the Hopkins part.
Re: A P4P List With A Twist.
I am saying this whole idea is wrong, Marquez hasn't done enough to be #1, he didn't win the second fight against Pacquaio, he deserves the #2 or #3 spot.
Calzaghe regardless of whether he beat Hopkins or not fought a really clsoe fight with Hopkins and beat Kessler, he should be in the top 5 no doubt. WTF is Mijares doing int he top 10 p4p yet? Especially at #5 thats very wrong, and don't even get me started on where you placed Pacquaio, if Marquez did beat in eitehr of those fights which he didn't, it would be by a point at most? That means Pacquaio should be in the top 3 by your logic.

The only thing i dislike about you Taeth is that you think your opinion is right all the time even though you do know your boxing, you say theres no way Marquez won 2nd Pacquiao fight. But majority of boxing websites and boxing ringside reporters had Marquez winning and more boxing fans had Marquez winning aswell. So does that mean all there opinions aswell as mine are wrong because you think theres no way Marquez won ?
Christian Mijares beat a very good fighter in his last fight that was considered an even fight before, plus he has made many title defenses i think he deserves to be high in P4P rankings. I already explained why Calzaghe is lower because i think he lost to Robin Reid, aswell as Hopkins and if i think he lost to Reid that takes away one of his big achievements which is 20+ title defenses.
