Just to let you know that Joe and Roy will be side by side in an exclusive interview on Steve Bunce's boxing hour (Top show imo) to be repeated prime time at 18.30 tonight on Setanta Sports news channel.
Well worth a watch and i'm a big Bunce fan...pure entertainment and a wealth of fight knowledge:cool:

Brilliant show, Buncy said Jones went up to light heavy to take the light heavy title off McCallum :confused: He does tend to get over excited. The fight is going to be brilliant and no body should put the fight down. Two great fighters at the greatest arena what more can you ask for.
Hopkins was funny. He should be a politician.
Jones was very humble and I hope he wins.

I saw it, great show. Buncey was asking questions that the Eastside boxing members challenged him too (he posts on that site obviously).
Hearing Jones changed my mind about the fight a bit. It's obvious he is clearly in control of everything, and crazy old Hopkins seemed right, Roy sees he can beat Calzaghe
Let's steal him from Eastside and bring him over here;D

I'd suggest keeping the Q serious (for this place) and not ask him how much time he spends propped up at the bar.

Reading between the lines Hopkins believs that he will counter punch Pavlik and hurt him sufficiently to keep him back and win the fight. He feels the style that Pavlik fights will suit him, added that it is at light heavy some of the advantage is with Hopkins. Hopkins gave Galzaghe no credit and said only Roy Jones beat him fairly.
Roy Jones said that his only regret was not taking 2 years off after Ruiz so that his body could properly adjust down to the lower weight.
I have Setanta but missed it this week. Totally gutted because Jones is my favourite fighter. Gonna have a look on youtube for it now!

Also may I add that it was nice to hear Hopkins say that he acknowledged that Roy Jones beat him fair and he knew it!
