Dennis Inkin - Fulgencio Zungia 27/9
This is a real test for Inkin and we will see him in a real live fight this weekend. Zuniga from what ive seen and heard is a very decent fighter and he can bang as well. If Inkin wins this weekend he really is going to be invovled in some big named fights this year. I hope that Carl and him can also settle the score, if he not injured or ill again ;D

Re: Dennis Inkin - Fulgencio Zungia 27/9
To me Inkin is no different than Pascal or Fraud. He has a lot to prove. He ain't done shiit. Beating crappy ass Mario Veit and an old ass Julio Cesar Vazquez don't cut it. People see his undefeated record and assume he's a automatically good fighter. LOL. If only it was that easy.
With that being said, Zuniga is a great step up. A win over him would be great for Inkin. It would really raise up his stock. Show that he is for real. Zuniga is a very, good underrated fighter. A win over Zuniga means much more than a win over Fraud or Pascal.

Fulgencio Zuniga is a tough cookie and went 9 rounds with Pavlik without going down, a good test for Inkin like VD said he still needs to prove himself. This fight will tell us alot about Inkin IMO.

Re: Dennis Inkin - Fulgencio Zungia 27/9
Good fight for Inkin. Hopefully for him he does better than the last undefeated prospect who was thrown in with Fulgencio. Victor Oganov anyone?

We might see an upset here it wouldn't suprise me at all.

Re: Dennis Inkin - Fulgencio Zungia 27/9
Like others have said this is a tough test for Inkin but also a great opportunity for Zuniga to break through! I'm still slightly favoring Inkin as I feel he has the better fundermentals & if he can box smart & stand up to Zuniga's punches he should prevail.
-
Re: Dennis Inkin - Fulgencio Zungia 27/9
Inkin all the way.
I really can't see Zuniga wining this fight.
Inkins skills will prevail.
-
Re: Dennis Inkin - Fulgencio Zungia 27/9
after the disrespect Inkin showed Froch say if they both win I hope they can have a unification fight! Froch would make him pay ;D

When did I say he was shiit? Read that part over. Maybe you'll understand better. Inkin does have good skills. But again, he hasn't done anything. He's done shiit. He hasn't beaten anybody good yet. You understand now? Or do you need me to further break it down.

Re: Dennis Inkin - Fulgencio Zungia 27/9
I see Stinkin has completely lost his WBC ranking now.
-
Re: Dennis Inkin - Fulgencio Zungia 27/9
I see Inkin winning a very close decision.

I just think it was a bit strange how when something carl froch related like a fight with him you were licking his ass and now you are digging into him...just a bit strange in my eyes

Inkin has good skills. But he hasn't done anything in his career, yet. You think otherwise?

Re: Dennis Inkin - Fulgencio Zungia 27/9
Zuniga is a tough and dangerous fighter. He knocks Pavlik during the 1st round and it means something.
I really thought that Pavlik's chin is questionable but he was able to recover easily so I must be wrong.
-
Re: Dennis Inkin - Fulgencio Zungia 27/9
I think Inkin is a little over-rated. I could see Zuniga catching him i could also see Inkin winning a dec.
Im just glad Inkin hasnt pulled out.

Re: Dennis Inkin - Fulgencio Zungia 27/9
Inkin could definately get sparked if he makes a mistake. Inkin has a much tougher night ahead of him than Froch.

Maybe, but Froch beats them all.
Inkin will easily beat the tough but limited Zuniga.
Denis is a double military world champion. There are a lot of double-hard bastards who never turn pro compete in the military boxing tournaments and Inkin was the world champion.
Zuniga is portrayed as the second coming. In reality he is a columbian bin man with no pedigree.

Re: Dennis Inkin - Fulgencio Zungia 27/9
Apparently Inkin beat Zuniga by decision to win the WBO SMW title. Boxing News -- Fightnews.com : EkkkVuluVuKPwArWJi

Where are getting the idea that anybody is calling Zuniga the second coming. He's a decent puncher and a tough SOB. And as for amateur pedigree, please, I'm not even going to bother making a list of amateur champions who are busts that the upper levels of pro boxing. Khan won silver metal and he just got his butt KTFO by a Columbian without an amateur pedigree.
Zuniga is who he is. Saying Froch beats them all doesn't mean a thing. Froch is still a joke.

Re: Dennis Inkin - Fulgencio Zungia 27/9
Just got an e-mail saying Zuniga was robbed.

By the way, great prediction here.
You think Zuniga was gonna get the KO.
But
You also thought Inkin can win a dec.
Sweet, you've got the fight cornered right there. Something told me you were bound to get the predicition right. ;D

Bit surprised to hear it was fairly close actually.

Re: Dennis Inkin - Fulgencio Zungia 27/9
Zuniga had his moments, but it was Inkin's to lose.
Sopcast ;)

Re: Dennis Inkin - Fulgencio Zungia 27/9
I'll be honest I was being reeeeaally nice to Zuniga in some rounds...

Re: Dennis Inkin - Fulgencio Zungia 27/9
The biggest news of this fight card, WBA cruiserweight champ Firat Arslan losing by TKO10 to Guillermo "The Incredible Expanding Man" Jones, a former super welterweight...
