Cintron to come back versus Lovemore N'dou
for those that care, I can't get too excited about this thread, but its on November 15 on the Lacy-Taylor card, which I thought was off but I guess isn't.

Re: Cintron to come back versus Lovemore N'dou
Margarito must have really damaged him psychologically if he feels he has to fight a career junior welter.
N'dou has never fought at 147 in his entire career to my knowledge.
The only interesting part will be to see if Cintron can knock the much smaller man out. I don't think he's ever been stopped so if Cintron can do that it will at least be another testament to his power but the size difference will be so much that you would expect it really.

Re: Cintron to come back versus Lovemore N'dou
I read something a few weeks ago about N'dou calling out Anthony Mundine at 160 (surprised Mundine didn't jump on that one) so at least this isn't so bad. I wouldn't be surprised if N'dou gave him some problems actually.

lol I'm sure Mundine would take the fight but he's still got some unfinished business with Sam Soliman first

Margarito ruined him in their 1st fight. He's no mental giant; just a pretty skilled fighter with a mule kick for a punch; but a guy who can't take what he dishes out. And Tony exposed that for the world to see:bawling:
This is one of those suck on your thumb fights for Cintron so he can feel better about himself:baby:
I was hoping Cotto could get him and beat the sh#t out of him. I can't stand Cintron. Sorry; you'll never see me hate on a fighter, but this is my one exception. Get this guy gone already; MMA is where he belongs.

Re: Cintron to come back versus Lovemore N'dou
I don't dislike Cintron, but he just seems mentally frail. He has some good physical gifts and if he had the mentality to go with it he could have made a mark.
At this point I don't think anyone can do anything about it. He is one of those punchers who has become too reliant on that punch. If the power does not carry them, they start to unravel.

Re: Cintron to come back versus Lovemore N'dou
Its a named fighter for a comeback, it could have been worse. I think Cintron should beat him fairly easily. But n'dou cant be underestimated as PM found out in his last fight ;)

Re: Cintron to come back versus Lovemore N'dou
How can a fighter be named Lovemore?
-
Re: Cintron to come back versus Lovemore N'dou
hes from a foreign country i guess...

Re: Cintron to come back versus Lovemore N'dou
This could get interesting if Lovemore N'dou is comfortable at the weight he could upset Kermit Cintron, N'dou has a solid chin and keeps coming all the time, he could break Cintron's heart if he gets him in the later rounds, and if Jesse Feliciano can give Cintron hell, im sure N'dou can if he is comfortable at the weight.

Re: Cintron to come back versus Lovemore N'dou
How can a former world champion be fighting someone coming up in weight? Especially if Cintron is already big for ww? Anyhow, he still may have picked the wrong man... N'dou fights like an African Margarito. Kermit Cintron will never be a contender among the elite ww in boxing today. Hands are strong, but the heart is weak.

Re: Cintron to come back versus Lovemore N'dou
my boy cintron is going to do work and gonna win

Re: Cintron to come back versus Lovemore N'dou
N'dou sucks. Cintron will crush him. I would like to see Cintron fight Berto. We keep hearing how Berto is the second coming, so let's see him prove it. I think Cintron knocks him out.

Don't understand all this hate for Cintron, the guy shows alot of balls going in the ring with Margarito twice, especially after the nature of the 1st loss. It takes alot of guts to face a demon that destroyed you before again I think.
I don't think we have really seen if Cintron is any good or not, but i wouldnt call being "exposed" losing to the Top welter in the world.

Re: Cintron to come back versus Lovemore N'dou
Its an ok sort of fight Hatton came back with Lazcano im sure Cotto will come back with someone slightly faded also.

Yeah I admit I have maybe an irrational dislike for Kermit. I am sorry if I offend anyone, as I never hate on guys that get punched in the face for a living, but watching a man sit down and start crying like Cintron did the 1st time with Tony actually made me ill.
He was exposed that night, for lack of a better term Poom; because no one had seen what his heart was made of. Granted it was against a guy that has titanium in his genes, but nonetheless sitting down on the canvas crying like a toddler who just got spanked is a sign he isn't some form of mental leviathan. Hell, he looked like he wanted out of there any # of times against the walking punching bag Feliciano, lmao. Only reason he didn't quit is because Jesse couldn't throw a punch combination to save his life.
Do I really think he shouldn't be in the game? No; no one is perfect and all have flaws, I just hope to never see another nervous breakdown from a guy who is supposed to be a FIGHTER;D Then again him and Tony could kick the sh#t out of me and I'd probably cry and suck my thumb too;D
But no matter who trains him; he'll never get from them the thing most important in that ring, and that's deep gameness. He has a better chance getting a heart watching the Wizard of Oz than tape of his opponents. And making silly youtube videos calling people out didn't help me like him either:shakehead: JMO guys.

Hopefully, Cintron beats N'dou and meets Cotto in San Juan for the welterweight crown of Puerto Rico.

You do have to admit he does have balls pure and simple. Whether you thought it was a joke he was crying on the canvas remember he had a broken hand and was out for nine month's only to fight the most feared welterweight since probably Hearns. I've always blamed Cintron's promoter's for putting him in that fight so quickly but then again I did think he would beat Tony in the second fight.

You got me there. He does have balls; hell anyone who gets in there does. Though seeing what they're made of in the middle of a heated battle is as/more important as well.
Either way I admit my view of him is rather harsh and unfair; so I'll leave it at that. He is though a very dangerous fighter; hell I bet Matthysse probably still hasn't woken up;D

Why did you think Tony would lose the second fight?? I mean I am not trying to argue in retrospect, but just curious.

I hate N'dou he is too mouthy and cannot backup his talk. Cintron at least has got beaten to the best Welter in the world.

You are actually completely on point. Margarito is a beast. Which other welters could last 12 long rounds against him?
-
Re: Cintron to come back versus Lovemore N'dou
To be fair to Kermit re: the Margarito 1 fight; he wasn't crying from being physically hurt but just the emotional fact of losing. I would bet a lot of guys get emotional like that after losing, especially in that manner, they just wait to get to the locker room to start . Look at JT after the first Pavilk fight, he was holding back the tears while talking to L Merchant. And after Cotto got beat up by Tony, his corner said he was "too emotional" to do an interview. He was probably bawling like a baby too! ;D Are these guys sissies? I don't think so.

Good points, but i guess the difference between us is that I dont mind so much that he had a breakdown in the 1st fight as he attempted to come back from it by taking a second fight , but you dont really think thats acceptable,
fair enough, agree to disagree!

Actually I got mad respect for him fighting Margarito again; I'm not going to take that away from him. I guess it's because I just never got over that initial breakdown in the 1st fight.
But as I have said; I know I am too hard on the guy and I don't really have a place to speak on his heart. Anyone who gets in the ring twice with Tony I guess has more heart than I give credit for. I gotcha' Poom; you win.:)
