Paul Williams/Andy Kolle RBR
I'm not sure if I will be doing this RBR or Mar; who mentioned he might like to do it himself.
Either way I figure just in case he can't make it I'd start it up. Nothing fancy with my RBR's; so don't expect a Wackoesque' type performance from yours truly, but I'll do my best.
Tonight we have 2 pretty decent fights to keep us occupied while we patiently wait for the bigger boys like Pavlik/Hopkins and Calzaghe/Jones to get busy.
Chris Arreola, a HW prospect with a record of 24-0 with 21 ko's is fighting Israel Carlos Garcia, who has had a sparse career being that he is 38 years old and only had 20 fights with 1 loss and no ko's:shakehead: Personally I don't see what kind of opponent this guy is for Arreola, as he is supposed to be a major prospect in the American HW divison, but my money is on him getting smoked out of that ring in about 2 rounds. This guy has no knockouts and Chris will walk right through whatever he plans on throwing I would suspect. Never seen this Garcia kat before and I doubt I ever will again after tonight.
My prediction an easy, too easy, fight for Arreola. A ko for sure, just not sure when but betting it will be fast.
Then we have Paul Williams moving up to fight at 160 for the 1st time in a long time for him, to face an apparent up and coming prospect opponent in Andy Kolle, who is 17-1 with 12 ko's.
I admit to knowing very little about Kolle, I just know of 2 names on his record I am familiar with: Matt Vanda who he beat in 8 and Andre Ward who got him out of there in the 6th round of an 8 round fight. This should be an easy night for Williams in my opinion; he has fought at 160 before, though 2001 was the last time I believe he fought at 160. It's wondered if he has trouble making weight at WW these days, and since there seems to be people avoiding him he seemingly is making his move up again. Will be interesting to see if he brings more power with the weight; and if he does he'll get this guy out of there in 6 or 7. Like I said I don't know Kolle at all so maybe I'm way off; but regardless if Paul carries the weight well and can still bring that phenomenal output, he'll win imo. Been at this weight before and he's got more experience.
That's my take on it. If you don't like than wanker off gooberheads:tease-new:

How long until the fight ?

Re: Paul Williams/Andy Kolle RBR
I don't know ICB. I looked and it has boxing on VS in one hour, but it doesn't say what or who. Then an hour after that it has boxing on again for 2 hours, so I'm betting that's the one with PW and Arreola on it. I'll check in an hour just to make sure.

Awesome effort Legion.....you da man ;D.I think Williams is waving bye-bye to the Welters.I also think he can walk right into Jr.Middle and claim a title. He will be a interesting addition at Middle.Great physical gifts, natural range and size but he better seriously tighten up that defense and close his hands among othere things to add some pop up there.
Very happy to see some Arreola.....:-X.He just seems to like beating people up and by god....right now thats good enough for me :fight:

....sorry to be a flake guys, the wife is still at my mom's and i got all the little one's here juced up on fruit juice, cookies (i can't cook) and planning to overtake me as leader of the family to watch cartoons, i'm gonna try and chime in here and there though. I've given up on comfortably getting to watch it live and taping it to watch after they go to bed...

Re: Paul Williams/Andy Kolle RBR
:bag:
258 lbs for Arreola ?? Aweful !
-
Re: Paul Williams/Andy Kolle RBR
I don't think this Arreola fight is going to be too difficult to do though;D
-
Re: Paul Williams/Andy Kolle RBR
These guys just coming out with bad intentions; Arreola landing his jab nicely and putting some uppercuts in. Landing the right hand nicely. Nice body work and coming up with an uppercut. Damn Iwish I could make one eye look at the t.v. and the other one at the computer. Larios actually wanting to fight Arreola's fight but he's getting touched. Seems to have a sturdy chin as he took some nice shots.
rnd 1 to Arreola.
-
Re: Paul Williams/Andy Kolle RBR
Round 1 = Garcia starts out with jabs to the body and a nice right hand over the top, Arreola works on Garcia against the ropes. Clinch, nice left hook to the body off the ropes from Garcia, Arreola looks in terrible shape, nice combo to the body followed by an uppercut from Arreola nice combo there, and he lands another body shot while Garcia is against the ropes, nice body work from Arreola which is setting up the head shots, lovely combo again by Arreola 4 punch combo.
10-9 Arreola.
-
Re: Paul Williams/Andy Kolle RBR
LOL, sorry ICB, wasn't for sure you were going to do it. It's all yours now buddy:cool:
-
Re: Paul Williams/Andy Kolle RBR
Arreola has a new tat,and a new love handle.Nice body shots.Terrible statement with that weight Imo.Sluggish.
-
Re: Paul Williams/Andy Kolle RBR
Round 2 = Both men come out exchanging jabs nothing happening at the moment, nice short uppercut on the inside by Arreola, counter right hand from Arreola followed by a huge uppercut. Left hook to the body from Arreola, 3 punch combo from Arreola AND A HUGE UPPERCUT FROM ARREOLA DAMN THAT WAS NASTY, Garcia has some chin. Alot of mauling at the moment not much happening, another huge uppercut from Arreola and Garcia is in trouble against the ropes, Arreola tries to go to work and finish him off, but he is unsuccessful. Left hook from Arreola TWO MORE HUGE UPPERCUTS BY ARREOLA AT THE END OF THE ROUND.
2-0 Arreola
-
Re: Paul Williams/Andy Kolle RBR
Watching the stream now myself, Arreola looks svelte as ever.
His opponent looks similar, fat, ugly, face like an Orc, or even worse, like Legion
-
Re: Paul Williams/Andy Kolle RBR
That's what happens when a guy like me doesn't know anythng about a fighter and makes a prediction. Granted a=Arreola looks even fatter and cumbersome than usual but this Israel kat can take some shots. Another loser analysis by me:bawling:
-
Re: Paul Williams/Andy Kolle RBR
Arreola got caught with a erand hook pulling straight back.Giving this guy hope.
-
Re: Paul Williams/Andy Kolle RBR
Damn that was a great uppercut by Arreola at the end of the round!!

-
Re: Paul Williams/Andy Kolle RBR
The ceiling caved in on him.Arreola better get his butter butt into the gym !!!
-
Re: Paul Williams/Andy Kolle RBR
Lol...guess those punches really were landing, nice job by garcia "acting" like they weren't though.
-
Re: Paul Williams/Andy Kolle RBR
Round 3 = Not much happening at the start of the round but now Arreola lands nice combos to the head, good variety of punches by Arreola. Short uppercut on the inside by Arreola nice double left hook to the shoulder then to the body by Arreola HE JUST HURT GARCIA WITH TWO LEFT HOOKS TO THE HEAD GARCIA IS STUNNED AGAINST THE ROPES ARREOLA IS POUNDING GARCIA AGAINST THE ROPES RIGHT HANDS, LEFT HANDS PUNCHES FROM ALL ANGLES AND THE REF STEPS IN TKO WIN FOR ARREOLA.
-
Re: Paul Williams/Andy Kolle RBR
Got no problem with the stoppage. Fight was a mismatch anyway
-
Re: Paul Williams/Andy Kolle RBR
Well it ended as we all expected.
-
Re: Paul Williams/Andy Kolle RBR
Nice combos by Arreola also nice brutal uppercuts, he looks fat and slow. But he is pretty quick handed im quite impressed with him, i would like to Arreola vs Haye.

Re: Paul Williams/Andy Kolle RBR
Anyone know about this prospect Rico Ramos ?
-
Re: Paul Williams/Andy Kolle RBR

-
Re: Paul Williams/Andy Kolle RBR
I like the fights outdoors.
Dont blink
-
Re: Paul Williams/Andy Kolle RBR
Round 1 = Sarabia starts out jabbing nice counter left hook from Ramos, both men look cautious. Ramos misses with a counter straight right hand, nice left hooks to the body from Ramos. Impressive body work so far, 6 hurtful body shots by Ramos on the inside and Sarabia is hurt and drops his hands and goes towards the corner, left hooks from Ramos followed by a right hand and another devastating left hook and the ref steps in TKO win for Ramos.
-
Re: Paul Williams/Andy Kolle RBR
