who do u think out of these 3
How can it not be Trinidad, he was the first man ever to knock him down. It was a brutal beating
I say De La Hoya cause his first combination in the 1st round dropped Mayorga. Mayorga stuck his chin out to Trinidad and taunted him. Mayorga did no such thing with Oscar. He felt his power, realized Oscar was for real, took the beating like a man.
Those are just my reasons for picking Oscar over Trinidad. But I really had a hard time deciding between the two.
I'd say probably Trinidad. I know which one I enjoyed more; and that was Oscar's beating he gave Mayorga; I was ecstatic about it after that whole build-up.
Ricardo Mayorga actually won 2 rounds against Felix Trinidad as i remember, the 1st round and the knockdown round. When did Ricardo Mayorga ever come close to winning a round against ODLH ? theres your answer.
Easily it has to be Tito. Trinidad beat him down when he still felt he had a chin that was unbreakable. He had lost that aura by the time he fought Oscar.
Example: Tito brutally KO's Vargas and Vargas in turn comes out gets dropped in his very next fight against an old Wilfredo Rivera. People don't come back the same after beatings like that and so many hard punches on the chin.
Remeber that's the same Oscar who couldn't put away little Stevie Forbes so let's not get carried away.
Odlh
Trinidad and Oscars' beatings were both great. i would have to say Trinidad as most of Puerto Rico wanted Tito to put it on Mayorga and i really enjoyed when it happened.
one thing i do know for sure it definitely wasn't Mosley
ODLH destroyed Mayorga, I mean absolutely annihilated him. I have to say Trinidad's beating him was very gratifying though, something I could watch over and over.
theres no question DLH gave him the bigger ass whipping. Of course you could argue Trinidads win is more signifigant(and it is) because Mayorga hadnt been soundly beaten yet and had more to offer, but Mayorga was still somewhat in that fight until the 5th or 6th rounds, and there was always that element that he was dangerous. When Oscar fought him he dropped Mayorga HARD in the 1st round, you pretty much knew after that it was only going his way.
it was hard to pick but i went with tito even though oscar kicked his ass i think tito hit him harder than oscar. but oscar crushed his dreams
For me it was the Oscar beating. Oscar made him look so bad, like they didn't even belong in the same ring together, and Mayorga had talked so much trash going into the fight. Total domination in response to the trash talk was just so gratifying.
I'd like to say Tito but ODLH dropped him with the first series he threw...:puncher:
De la Hoya was the most impressive beatdown.
I love mosely and all but who the hell voted for him?!
Surely the guy who voted Mosley must made a mistake.
Mayorga, interestingly enough said it himself,
When asked who's the best of The Three (Mosley, Oscar, Trinidad)
He said "That's easy: Oscar, Trinidad, and Mosley."
In that order,
That exactly predicts how many rounds Mayorga himself lasted against the three, in decreasing order! haha Mayorga made this statement before the Shane fight.
Felix Trinidad HANDS DOWN ended the Mayorga Chin. Now THAT was a BEATDOWN for the ages!
I voted for Shane cuz hes the only one who laid Mayorga out cold. vs Tito and Oscar teh ref waved off so Mosley scored teh best K.O
But in terms of beatings it has to be the Tito fight . Mayorga got cut and proper fu**ed up in that fight . It was the 1st time it happend to him too . He was hurt to head and body . That beating stuck with him .
I voted Oscar. I thought about Tito but he did knock him down and the fight was at 160 I believe. IF Tito and him were to fight at 154 or even 147 I think he would gave Tito alot tougher of a time. De La Hoya made him look like an amateur he completely dominated from the opening bell and Mayorga didn't win 1 round. Tito lost 2 rounds and Shane was hurt in the second round for a brief second and lost a few other rounds.
:jabbing: Somewhat similiar to this
Love him or hate DLH has one of the best left hooks in the business and he perfectly executed it on Mayorga!
I guess Oscar.
That being said I think Tito ruined Mayorga at least a little bit. Mayorga ruined himself to some extent but Tito helped.
But if you're just looking at the fights with no other context then it would be the Oscar one.
Tito... hands down.
He was the 1st to do it.

Oscar got a damaged Mayorga.

Actually Oscar caught Mayorga out of balance with a beautiful left hook. But what Tito did to Mayorga was a crazy beat down while Oscar fight was stopped by accumulation of punches.
All 3 did a great job but is clear that Tito did the worst damage. Like Mayorga says "is easy to whistand punches you see coming that the one you don't."
Oscar's victory was more one-sided, but Tito inflicted more overall damage.
No doubt DLH's left hook in the first round was probably the single hardest shot Mayorga was hit with. Mosley's left hook on the 12 might be seccond.
But as for full fledged beating you have to give it to Tito. He hit him with like 60 % of his power shots or something. It was just ridiculous.
I think the left hook Shane hit him with was the hrdest shot hes ever taken . Nobody has ever laid him out like that to the point where he couldnt even try to get up . When Oscar caught him he was looking at Oscar right away when he was down . Tito wore him down IMO but Shane put his lights out .
Has to be Oscar. He was furious that night and it showed.
Trinidad give him a good slapping too.
But I don't think Sugar Shane gave him an ass kicking at all. Yes he KO'd him with a great shot but I thought that Mayorga was leading going into the last round!
;D
i dont know how anyone can say oscars win better because Myaorga had already lost that aura about him by that time. oscar fought a shell of the granite chinned mayorga that walked into the ring against Forrest and Tito.
It was Tito that made him beatable in that way
I went Trinidad
