Meldrick was tough, but he also wasn't tough, He couldn't take the shots so he isn't physically tough, but mentaly he was up there. If this is about mentality then Roy Jones would have to be up there as well, he took an absolute beating before Glen Johnson knocked him out, and he took a lot of cheap shots when you look back, I just was watching Jones-Tarver I, and Jones in the first round gets a forehead right in the kisser, and he doesn't seem to bothered by it, In that fights he gets hit by a lot of tough shots to the body and upstairs.
