Arreola by ko. maybe
Imo Arreola is over rated.. the odds are biased for sure. Walker should be undefeated also
Arreola is definately a limited fighter skill wise, but he has a great chin, and he is relentless. I fully expect him to break down Walker and stop him in the mid-rounds. But if you have faith Walker can pull this off, good luck to you, hope you make some money. I wouldn't bet against Arreola here personally though.
10-1?
Wow. That is huge. Let me check out Walker before I make my call. I thought Walker was Areolla's biggest challenge to date?
Walker's a club fighter. Areola is an elite prospect/ contender
I would put a little on Walker for those odds. His only loss was the controversial stoppage, which he avenged by knocking out TJ Wilson. Walker needs to take this fight into the late rounds to have the best chance, but 10-1 is crazy, Walker is not a club fighter.
I've seen Walker a couple times, he's not that bad. I really think that its a pickem fight between him and Arreola. For those that haven't seen the Walker- TJ Wilson 1 fight, the stoppage was waaaaay premature.. Watch it on youtube and you'll see. Anyways , the odds are off and there is a chance to make some money. Good Luck
Btw , Kessler Haulssler was 9-1 , and this one is much closer Imo .
Sure hope Arreola slims it down,A tub of goo last time. This goes rounds Imo.
I forsee LOT'S of fireworks! in this fight...
Heavy handed guys both good hand speed but more then anything they both like to trade and shoot off from the begining.
Knockdowns with a knockout...
Gonna side with Arreola TKO rd. 2
Pretty good heavyweight matchup this Saturday between Chris "The Nightmare" Arreola and Travis "Freight Train" Walker. The fight is an IBF eliminator; the winner becomes the mandatory for Vladamir Klitschko. Both stand 6'4. Walker has a 5 inch wingspan advantage (82 - 77). Both can punch: Arreola has 22 knockouts in his 25 fights with no losses. Walker has 22 knockouts in his 28 fights with one loss. Arreola is more battle-tested.

Who will win?
I picked Arreola simply because he beat my man Chazz. I don't think Walker can take his pressure.
Walker isnt a good fighter at all , Arreola wins inside 5
If Arreola loses to Walker it's gonna hurt his career big time. Gotta say in a tough man contest, I fully expect Arreola to come out victorious in a very short period of time.
Arreola KO
i don't know much about these two....but I have gone for Travis to de-rail Arreola only cause Arreola is due for a lose and the heavyweight division is a total mess and I can't see Arreola to be a saviour of the heavyweights any time soon
Job Biscuit (Now i have said this....Arreola will become the next super star)!!!
eh eh!!
The problem with Arreola is stamina. Can he go 10 or 12 rounds with a top level heavyweight? What if he fights Sultan Ibragimov who moves well and doesn't want to sit and trade with him?
Lol i still remember watching walker at raley field here in sac last year for some showtime thing. Chris beats him though.
I don't know why a guy like Arreola can't get in better shape. I know tons of people that have desk jobs that are good shape, that work 8 hours a day and find time to work out besides that. All he does is box, that's all he has to do. He doesn't have to look like a body builder, that's not the point, but come on man, its a bit ridiculous.
Anyway Walkers legs do slightly funny things when he gets hit, even with a glancing blow. I suspect Arreola stops him.
Both guys have good power but neither one is a 1 punch KO artist.
Both rely more on accumulative punching.
I think it's gonna be explosive and I also don't think it will go past 4 rds.
Arreola by TKO.
merged.
Forgive my ignorance, but has Arreola been tested yet? Been down in any fights, had his bell rung, been "sparked"?
I guess, largely my question is: has his chin been tested yet?
I picked Walker in the prediction contest.
Walker is a big man and I am thinking that he will hang around long enough for Arreola's own blubber to drag him down.
Arreola is the favorite and the odds really don't mean a thing. If there is one thing that Killer has taught me it's that odds are there to sucker you in. It could be 50-1 for a Walker bet and not amount to a row of beans when he gets leveled.
I really like Arreola. People will call him fat and lazy etc. Underneath all that though is a guy who has a very nice flow to his punches. He mixes his shots really well and throws a lot of them.
He actually does some really nice things in there. If he dedicates himself and gets in shape more I would not hesitate to call him a future champ.
I still think he will win this fight, but if it goes beyond 5 rounds Walker will get his shot.
