impressive win , but he doesnt have the power to go to the top.
From what i've seen of him he seems to have all the tools to be a real threat and a really good british prospect in the game.To me he has great punch power!!
yeah i was pleasently surprised, and impressed. there was a bit of naz in brooks style last night, brilliant. ill be following his career closely from now on.
Yeah there was surely a bit of Naseem in him. There's nothing wrong with that as long as he brings us some great fights for in the future! He had power for sure!I think we did'nt really see his full power yet either!!Theres more to come of Brook thats for sure.He looks pretty tasty in the game!!;D
Good Fighter is Kel, But the other guy looked like He didnt want to be there.
yeah i agree with that, he looked like the occasion had got to him abit, but in the end i think brooks sharpshooting and power just overwhelmed him.
Very impressed.
Strong accurate punches. Reckon he'll go far.
Kell is a future world champion imo he even said he can make light-welterweight.
He could become another great prospect for boxing, but we'll just have to wait and see how he progresses. He looks good and is still only young.I just hope his promoter does'nt rush him too quickly.Let him loose but keep him at arms length and take him down the right road!Im sure he'll be a really good fight. He looked great last time out!I'll be keeping a close eye on him;D
Hi their folks,i've just noticed our Kel Brook fights tonight on Friday Fight Night on sky sports1 at 10pm tonight.Kel Brook is a great prospect for the british sport of boxing.I've watched him a few times and he really has something special about him.He fights Stuart Elwell for the British welterweight title at the York Hall in London.Kell Brook has a record of 18 straight wins with 11 k.o's.Im really looking forward to him fighting again.;D

I'll be watching this and he did look strong last time out and blew his opponent away.
Whether he can go on to a World strap remains to be seen but he is a very exciting prospect indeed and imo has plenty of power to mix it in the top flight.
Looks a real threat to anyone when he's on the attack and i like the range of punches he has and he hardly seems to miss the target.
All good so far:cool:
Kel Brook said in the video that he would love to have the chance to fight either Cotto or Mosley some day.Well i know its a long way to go but he has desire to do soo.I cant wait to watch him tonight.I really like watching up and coming british prospects in the game, after all the likes of Calzaghe and Hatton will be hanging up their gloves good and propper soon!!
Wow Brook won the fight with his left hand lead jab alone.Very impressive! He has some power in his left jab for sure.I wish he would stop k.o opponant soo early though:rolleyes::-X.He is a great prospect for the british boxing scene!
He made Elwell look so out of his depth it was embarrasing. I'm not convinced that Brook used his right in anger once during the whole fight. His lead-off punch was enough to do Elwell, and he's got plenty of confidence. At least he'll make it exciting over the next 12 months in the welters.
As you said Yvonne, his jab/hooks from the lead left were enough tonight, easy pickings, and especially considering Elwell had been training hard for 6 weeks off work. That's less than a minute for every week he's been off work, can't be happy with his performance, but that kind of power is hard to combat.
Brooks chin was static as usual tonight , he fought a none punching bum ,
as soon as he steps up to top level , he gets knocked out , shades of Ryan Rhodes for me guys.
I would love to see Kel Brook get into a 50/50 fight with a opponant that is willing and capable of fighting back hard and fast against Brook.Only time will tell, but what i've seen of Brook is enough to say that he has the tools to do really well. His reflexes that he showed last night where very very good,:rolleyes:Ok his opponant was'nt in Brooks level but them reflexes are a natural and very effected.Brook also showed patiants too,i mean he could have easly finished the fight in the first round if he really wanted to just by throwing his right hand once!Im keeping a close eye on Brook he could be special:lickish:;D
Brook's opponant was'nt in the same league as him and that showed straight away from the first ring on the bell. Its fair to say that Brook sould be properly tested now.He needs to be pressured and put on the back foot.Im sure he'll be future prospect. For me anyhow!
He is no Herol Graham , and we all know he failed at the very top ,
Brook's chin hangs in the air , he will fail at top level i have no doubt.
Lets also take into account the fact he is fighting a pretty low standard of fighter , i personally dont even think he hits that hard , its just the poor oposition that make him look a puncher.
I haven't seen Brook take a punch in his last two fights, albeit only three rounds, so his defence can't be that shit. I did think he looked a bit iffy before that, but he is probably improving.
Poor opposition or not - he's getting the stoppages.
Did they mention his next possible opponent? (i was watching with no sound)
A snowman ;D Well there's lots of them about at the moment.
He should be able to win the Euro title. I had to look up the champ.. he's been beaten on these shores a few times. That's if he's still champ by time Brook gets to him of course.
Maybe a fight with Jennings later in the year after he's recovered from the Cotto fight.
Brook will be better than Ryan, especially after Antony Small beats hims on the 28th March.
Brook is a fantastic prospect. He is almost like a younger version of David Haye....speed, power and great boxing skills. Although his chin hasn't been tested yet....I think he's a world champion in the making, without doubt.
