I think they are Hyping Pacquiao's Spar Session up! I saw some Video of it

I like Pacquiao but I think they are hyping this fight up big time.

I saw a 5 minute clip of him sparring Rashad Holloway my friend went to wild card to film it and he was sending it over to a filipino newstation but he showed me a bit of it. And it was more of a posing and feinting session. Pacquiao was super cautious and only went in once and a while for a shot but he had to stretch. I almost thought he would pull a muscle having to stretch in to get a left in.

I also noticed holloway was pretty much able to counter pacquiao easy with check hooks, all he did was step back when pacman threw a manila ice and he countered him with a left hook. Everytime Pacman tried to go for the body he got countered when his head popped back up.

From what I saw Rashad was going easy on pacman you could tell he wasn't even trying hard.

you can check a station called GMA tv they have the edited clip Ill find the link but they only show like 10 seconds of it.

found it they only showed a little but you can see pacman almost go off balance from a counter by rashad...pacman is gonna lose to oscar sadly if he cannot get in on rashad how the hell can he get in on oscar who is known for his superior distance and backstep counter.

Have you watched Pacquaio before? Thats how he has always punched. To devastating effect I might add. I will believe what you are saying when I see it, get your friend to post the footage on youtube.

Edit the picture to :

A) Remove the head gear
B) Replace that big goofball with Oscar
C) Take Oscar from the middle of the ring like that and lean him up against the rops (same pose as above)

I think this is a very cynical matchup.

If Pac can get through the first half of the fight relatively unscathed I really think he will be in with a chance. Oscar is fighting lighter than he has in years and he isnt renowned for his amazing stamina. Its a big if though, and one big punch could end it.

Come on these are just tricks and hype tools no real sparring gets done in front of the cameras or the public i believe nothing i see or hear from these sparring horror stories they are just wind ups

It was probably a Slip man sometimes they exaggerate things to hype the fight and make it seem like less of a mismatch.

Doesn't matter how he looks or any fighter in that matter in sparring...The idea of sparring is to practice things and get them down...Most of the time you are not ment to look good sparring especially when you are going into a fight like Pacquiao against a guy soo much bigger....,.He is trying to get down what he will do against DLH.......

Don't base how he will perform in the fight just on sparring video.....

I am kinda sad by this fight because Pacquiao is the most exciting for me to watch and I believe Oscar will destroy him and pacmans career will never be the same...what a waste sorry but it is not a fair fight pacman has no shot even after seeing the sparring and a guy going easy on him but still touching him.

This is just a hype fight and Oscar better KO pacman and at least give the casual fans wht they want. I hope he doesnt carry the fight and let pacman go 12 rounds in a cautious fight.

Just knock pacman out early and save him a long beating.

Pac may be the underdog, but a live one. Yes he's got a chance.

Oscar better KO Pac before 3 rounds, or it's going to be a long night for him.

I believe Pac will test the waters first in early rounds. He'll be extremely defensive, he'll tire Oscar out. Pac will going to work on Oscar's body in mid rounds (take away his strength) and go for the head in late rounds imo.

And Pacquiao hasn't been over susceptible to the left hook as you are saying, he has only had troubles with the straight right hand, and on one occasion with Morrales the jab. Sure Marquez landed the left hook, but Marquez has a great hook that lands on everyone. I am not saying Oscar won't win this, he is a clear favorite, but he has been gunshy lately. Everytime Mayweather punched Oscar would cover up and not punch back, same with Steve Forbes, he was just lucky Mayweather didn't realize this earlier in their fight, and that Steve Forbes is also a defensive fighter. If he can't get off more effectively then he could be in big trouble against Pacquiao, especially because he isn't as light on his feet as he once was. My main point about Mayweather was that he was able to take Oscar's power if Pacquiao can do the same then Oscar is in for a tough fight, then again if he fights a similar style to what Marquez did against Pacquaio, Manny is fucked, If OScar is willing to stand there and use clever footwork then Pacquaio's offense will be totally neutralized, and Oscar will have a field with him.

Yes marquez landed that left hook and oscar will land it again just to refresh your memory oscar has longer reach and is considered a bigger version of marquez but with better defense.

I personally think that the laws of nature are just too far against him...Too much size in too big a jump with no gradual build up...(EG- a fight at 140 against a scrub and such just so his body can adjust to the weight and find out exactly what the extra weight causes him to lose skill wise...power, how much speed, mobility etc)....

Then again this is against DLH who seems to have the recipe to screw up every fight of this caliber he has ever been in....Something aout DLH and an Opp on the P4P list just don't seem to work for him....Even when he has the fight won....

I have been a detractor of this bout since it was even suggested...IMO it is shameful on DLH part for searching for such a small opp and stupid on Manny's part for even risking it...

With that being said....

I hope that it is not a blow out on DLH end or one where he is beating the hell out of Pac but for some reason does not get the KO till late...it would hurt the sport big.....A quick KO would hurt DLH rep big time....There would be nothing but criticizim from the press for it

This is the guy PAC knocked down in sparring, 28 years old 5' 10" light middleweight Arron Robinson... Arron is also a sparring partner of PBF in the past but I don't know if PBF was able to knockdown Robinson in sparring... ;D

I wonder whos DLH been sparring with. Is there anyone out there who is lightning fast, boxer puncher southpaw like Pac?

From what I've read, Hoya been sparring with super lightweight Victor Ortiz and super featherweight Edwin Valero... Both these 2 are not as fast as Pacquiao...

I already seen what I seen and to be honest there was only a few people in the gym on the video and Pacman didnt look like a beast as they claimed. In fact like I stated before he was getting counter with ease all Rashad had to do was step back and throw a check hook and he kept touching pacman with a soft jab.

Rashad was going easy on pacman it was obvious maybe roach told rashad to go easy to build pacmans confidence, roach is banking on that saying make a man believe he can win even though the odds are against him and maybe a miracle can happen?

but Roach made a mistake cause oscar is bigger stronger, smarter and has faster hands then pacquiao.

Also Amir Khan was tearing pacman up in sparring someone posted video of pacman and amir sparring on youtube and then it got taken down...I wonder why.

All I know is from what I seen pacman is not gonna come at oscar like he does the other guys...this fight is gonna be mostly pacman circling waiting for oscar to attack and try to make oscar chase him to tire oscar.

But Oscar is not gonna get tired I like pacman and I just dont think he has a chance to even touch oscar.

about you saying that amir khan gave manny a hard time, yes he did. even freddie roach acknowledge it. it even went on the philboxing website. but when oscar gets beat up, they deny it. but then they forgot to put make up on oscars black eye. right?

Foook gym war stories. All it is, is that a story. It has NOTHING to do with how a fight will go and or who will win a fight.

One last thing why is it that anytime a sparring partner is beat up and or punished he's never the more known sparring partner. It's alayws the unknown sparring partners.

Its good to have confidence in your man but being fanatical to actually think this was a good fight is crazy...no wonder they call it a dream match the fans of pacman even think pacquiao can beat oscar! when pacman couldnt even get in on a shorter jmm just tell me how pacman is gonna get in on a taller version of jmm but has way better defense as witnessed by oscars handsome mug a guy with a pretty face is the most dangerous to face because that means excellent defense?
