1) Joe Calzaghe
2) Jamie Moore
3) Juan Manuel Marquez
4) Enzo Maccarinelli
5) Mark Hobson
I must admit that apart from Marquez, my fave non-brit fighter, I've interviewed the other three on that list, and each of them are absolute gents, so was hard to rank them in order, so I've put them in order of their fighting prowess IMO.
I'm probably forgetting someone, but...
1. Juan Manuel Lopez
2. Miguel Cotto
3. Roman "Rocky" Martinez
4. Kelly Pavlik
5. Manny Pacquiao (he'll move up on my list if he beats DLH)
Paul Williams
Kelly Pavlik
Chad Dawson
Juan Manuel Lopez
Bhop (kinda)
but i can put Berto or Cotto when he retires or if he retires.

Hey I've got high hopes for 'Rocky' I actually said he and JuanMa would be champs by the end of this year... Guess I was wrong about Rocky anyway I think he's got champ written allover him. I will say he needs to clean up his defense up a bit and not get tagged with silly shots. But they guys exciting and I can def. see him beating "Cookie" if they ever met.
1. Manny Pacquiao
2. Miguel Cotto
3. Kelly Pavlik
4. Gerry Penalosa
5. Ricky Hatton
Bernard Hopkins
Marco Antonio Barrera (he fought last week, and looked pretty good)
Juan Manuel Marquez
Shane Mosely
Hard to come up with a 5th, I'm generally pretty impartial these days, though I had a lot of favorites in the past. A suppose Celestine Caballero could become a favorite. He really impressed me against Molitor, I could see him sticking around as a champion for quite some time.
Not in any order.
Juan Manuel Marquez
Floyd Mayweather Jr
Chad Dawson
Ivan Calderon
Antonio Margarito
Prospects.
Tavoris Cloud
Abner Mares
Yuriokis Gamboa
Devon Alexander
Andre Dirrell
Oh yeah. He went down early from a clean shot. But it was his reaction that got the crowd going. He pumped his fists and made gestures as if to say "C'mon on!!" Then he started stalking and gaining momentum until the stoppage later in the fight by TKO. It was excellent. Better than the main event, which unfortunately ended with a headbutt.
Juanma
Jmm
J Gonzalez
Kessler
Hatton
Not just that (That's where it started from though)
I liked his performace against a good contender in Edner Cherry when many said it was Witter just having an "off night" after he won the belt.
I've also heard many interviews with him and he seems like a respectful guy outside the ring.
Hatton
Caballero
Calzaghe
Margarito
Vazquez
1. B-Hop...Living legend, wish he would retire while hes still at the top but hes on my the top of my list as long as hes active, one of the true greats imo.

Wow! Didn't expect you to have Margarito as a favorite. I immediately thought it would be all slick tacticians.
I'm actually suprised at how many people have JMM in their top 5 as well! Glad to see he's loved..
No order:
JuanMa
Cotto
Margarito
Juan Manuel Marquez
Kessler
Up and Coming:
Victor Ortiz
Velasquez Brothers
Kenny Galarza
Cesar Seda Jr
Why do people regard Jhonny Gonzales higher than my man Israel Vasquez.
i dont think many people regard him higher. its just his style of fighting, his attitude, his persona and just everything about him, in and out of the ring that people like about him. i like that he is always exciting to watch. not taking anyting away from Vasquez cus i like him too. and just because 1 fighter beats another, that doesnt mean that u have to like that 1 more. ;D i still like Cotto more than Margarito. i dont think this stread is about who you rank higher but who you like more.
Marco Antonio Barrera
Mikkel Kessler
Joe Calzaghe
Paul Williams
Dan Santos
Just missing out but still favourites - Bernard Hopkins, Shane Mosley, Miguel Cotto
. . . . . . and Oscar De La Hoya will be added to my favourites list if he beats Pac
So will Evander if he beats Valuev
I've been following Gonzalez since he destroyed Elizondo on some HBO card back in '04. I don't think he is the better fighter than Vazquez, but he's always in the ring and he always brings it. Some highlights are he's knocked down Izzy more times than Rafa did total in the three wars they had he has fought 5 times this year 5-0 with 5 KOs. He knows how to finish and he's always in the fight. He's beat Montiel in his prime. Considering he's had 46 fights in 9 years you gotta love that. Plus he fights out here a lot, which makes him as close to a local boy as I can have.
The only pro boxer that's any good from Arizona that I know about is Jesus Gonzalez, and he has been very inactive, so I can't really back him.
Morales, Mayweather, and Trinidad are all among my Top 5 fighters of all-time, but I'll consider them all retired for the sake of this thread, although I suspect that all 3 will fight again at some point.
Cotto
Toney
Taylor
Kessler
Zab
Hopkins,though I wish he'd retire
Hatton, I just like the way he fights
The Klitschko's
Chagaev, no reason just again,I like how he fights
Ann Wolf-though she's mainly retired now
Skills 1st Heart 1st
Floyd jnr I Vasquez
JMM R Hatton
Kessler Pac Man
Cotto kats
Joe C ? hard call any suggestions
Such a hard question, I like all styles but will always go with the fighter who fights with his heart more so than ones who use their skills. No way am I saying that the fighters on the skills list have no heart because they have it in abundence its just they use all there skills to win 1st and if that don't work they will dig in and show they have plenty of toughness, heart, faith etc.
Same with the heart 1st list they have loads of skills but dont always use them prefering to take two to land one somtimes, which gives us fans a good fight with lots of action, TBH any fighter gets my upmost respect.
My 5
David Haye
Joe Calzaghe
Paul Williams
Edison Miranda
Andre Berto
