Pacman is the Most Exciting fighter in Boxing....
Yes I will admit it he is the most exciting like Larry Merchant said a Pacquiao in every division would help boxing...Merchant likes action and is a pacman nutthugger so when pacman retires he will probably go down as the most exciting fighter of the past 10 years....
But he is not the p4p king...sorry... that title belongs to Joe Calzaghe since floyd jr retired.
He is not even top 20 of this era to be honest, he fought old mexicans.
Exciting doesn't mean the best remember that.

Another anti-Pac thread from a sourgraping TS.

Re: Pacman is the Most Exciting fighter in Boxing....
sour grapes for what?
I gave the guy credit he is never fails to excite and comes to fight but the honest truth is he is not the best compare to Calzaghe and floyd jr who are both undefeated.

Re: Pacman is the Most Exciting fighter in Boxing....
oh now i get it. u think Calzaghe should be #1 p4p but its Pacman

Exactly I even complimented Pacquiao he will go down as probably the most exciting fighter for this current era....and yet they still cannot except the offical truth! he is not a great he has 3 losses and 1 of them was to a tricycle driver in manila.
Calzaghe and mayweather jr never handpicked fights, they fought tough prime fighters.

I agree he isn't on Mayweather's level, but Barrera, Morrales, and JMM are/were way closer to their prime than ROy Jones and Bernard Hopkins despite his accomplishments are, are to their prime.
Calzaghe is the perfect example of a guy who hasn't faced a high levle of competition in their prime except Kessler. Lacy was a joke, but his biggest wins besides Kessler are Eubanks who retired afterwards, 40 year old Jones, and 43 year old Hopkins, and he didn't look exceptionally good, he was threw a lot of punches.
I put Hopkins and JMM on the same level right now p4p roughly, and Pacman did IMO a slightly better job against him than Calzaghe did against Hopkins.
Barrera was in the top 5 p4p for like 8 years and Pacquiao dominated him in a way Calzaghe hasn't done to any of his opponents at that level. Barrera proved himself after the Pacman fight by fighting a really close fight with JMM afterwhich Pacquiao won almost every round against him.
Pacquiao also improved substantially to beat the crap out of Morales twice after losing a close fight before that.

You can question some of Manny's decision wins but not his level of opposition, I mean who has he ever tried to avoid?
Tszyu was the king of 140 division for years and Floyd never wanted to fight him. Joe also never took on the most dangerous opponents when he could.

Hatton has not fought the same level of opposition as often as Pac mate. To say Hattons acheivements outshine Pacs is quite demented. I respect your views but I strongly disagree with that.

That's right. Oscar Dela Hoya is much easier opponent for Pac than those fighters that mentioned.
You're really genius! I give up.

How can PAC avoided JMM when he already fought him 2 times?
PAC can't fight them all... He can only fight at most 3 times a year... He can't accomodate them all...
2009 will be PAC's last year in boxing and he will retire so I think 2 more fights after the Hoya fight... I think PAC will go for the bigger challenges and bigger names next year meaning Hatton and PBF... Sorry for the boxers you've mentioned for PAC already run out of time...

Um did I say oscar was easier? oscar is better then those guys and stronger...and pacman is only taking the fight for Money the fight is already set up oscar .... Oscar vs Pacman will be boring cause oscar will either knock pacman out early or just carry pacman out of pity.
Remember Oscar vs Hopkins? that fight was rigged.

yup pacman will retire with his last 3 fights being for money and all losses, hatton will knock pacman out, floyd jr will drown pacman and not even break a sweat, and oscar will start the downfall on december 6.
So basically pacman is about the money well hey he gives money away like candy so of course he would take 3 money fights.

The money is only incidental... It's there since these fights are the biggest super mega fights for PAC even if he's a heavy underdog in these fights... You can just appreciate PAC's courage for going after the remaining biggest challenges in his boxing career to further cement his boxing legacy...

That whole premise is ridiculous, but the suggestion that he ducked those names in particular is particularly laughable.
It's a real dick move starting a thread for no good reason other that the sole purpose of pissing people off.
I loathe Pac-fanboys as much as anyone, but this thread is as bad as anything they do.

pissing people off? it is the truth calzaghe is the p4p king.
Pacman is one dimensional and been hand fed aging fighters...he also lost to jmm 2 times by a wide margin.

I can only properly express my disdain in the form of emoticons and neg rep.
Regardless of your positions, you obviously created this thread simply to get a rise out of Pac-fans. You subsequent comments bear this out. And for the record, both JMM fights were very close and each could've gone either way.
A little respect goes a long way.

You guys are sensitive Calzaghe has more right to be the king then pacman...pacman is ranked number 5 on the p4p list in my eyes.
Pacman just does not have the skills to be considered a great he might be p4p king when it comes to excitement but thats all I can give him.
I have to be unbiased.

You're allowed to express your opinion, but the way you've gone about it is why I gave you neg. reps, I do not know why others did, but I assume it is for the same reason. If you'd gone about it in a respectful way, I would have been happy to argue with you without the neg. reps, and I'll gladly do so in the future. To make up for the neg reps, I'll make a point of sending some pos. reps the next time I come across a post of yours in which I feel you've made a good point.
I also disagree with your assertion that Pac lacks the skills to be a considered a great, that is ridiculous.
FWIW You are clearly extremely biased.

u only made this thread to express your gay feelings that Calzaghe should be #1 p4p but hes not. u cant always have shit your way. and also to show your hate towards pacman which will only piss off people here.
and b4 u call me a pac groupie im not a fan of him. i only enjoy a few of his fights.
