Has Nikolay (sp.?) ever been knocked down?
Nope. He took alot of shots in his early fights but he never went down.
I get the impression that if he falls down, he is not getting back up.
yeah thats what im thinking too. what was his weight during fight night? man he must be around 300lbs++.. if he falls to the canvas it will be hard for sure.. But who's gonna knock this freak out?Quote:

He looks so wrong in the ring...looks like he should be in a cage.
He lacks power and will easily get picked off by anyone with a bit of speed. I can't see him going down though.
I'd like to see him have a rematch with Chagaev and wouldn't mind a Haye v Valuev fight.
Got to be chopped down like a tree i'd reckon. Would be hard to get power shots on the head at his height.
He has definently been hurt....Monte Barrett hurt him early in their fight. I think the total lack of power punchers on his resume speaks volumes.
I agree with Lance Valuev will be like King Hippo from Punch Out he'll go down and he will need a forklift to stand upright again

ive still got issues with this guy being allowed to fight at this level
I mean c`mon the guy has absoloutely no boxing pedigree whatsoever
If i was 7 foot 4 and 20 something stone im quite id be able to see off a good few competitors through sheer strength
But when push comes to shove this guy is where he is solely because step ladders arent allowed in the ring!!!
He is showing alot of improvement since his loss to Chagaev. I didnt see the Ruiz fight though, but Ruiz makes alot of good heavies look ugly.Quote:
