Oscar looked a beat up old man. He got dominated by a small man.
He should retire.
You cant possibly think of someone that can beat Pac after this fight? Maybe you should have a close look at his fight with MARQUEZ....
Anyways as much as it sucks for me to say, pac was great tonight... congratz to him...
Well all i can tell you is Juan Manuel Marquez and Floyd Mayweather.
Yeah I can only think of Marquez..a fight with Hatton would be excting and will definitely have a lot of fireworks.But I think the Pac of today takes him to school.Pac will stop him.Ricky Hatton's style is someone you could prepare for and Roach and Pac seems to have the best gameplans.The thing with Marquez is you don't and you can't prepare for his style.You can only hope you could hit him first before a counter hits you.But with Pac's new found style and his controlled aggression plus his much improved right jab and short left leads,I think he beats Marquez convingly this time.Quote:

Although that was not the ODH of ten years ago, what a great win for Manny and his fans, I was hoping for a UD but a stoppage on the stool is more than any fan could hope for, quality performance.
Pacquiao looked great last night, I'm not gonna make any excuses for ODLH. ODLH should have retired a while ago, I can't see there being any doubt for him now. The first round IMO was the only one that an argument could be made for ODLH winning, I still gave that one to PAC.
Pac looked the man possessed and the better man won. ODLH was all smiles at the end still why? He's still getting paid more lol.

I am talking about others who have beaten boxers way passed their primes and look good on beating them. You know, Oscar got a taste of his own medicine here. He beat an old J.C. Chavez and looked good. Now it went the other way around. That is what happens with boxers who stay in the ring passed their primer believing they still have it. Hey Chino glad to see you come on i tell you man it was hard to see Oscar like that i watched him for ever and see him look like a old man sucks. Nothing taken away form pacman but god Oscar was looking his age and i am very sad to seem him done i mean he did not even throw he did not dig deep he looked like corspe and i never seen him bruise so bad i got to say it was the saddest day of watching boxing for me and it sucked bad but i while always be a fan of Oscar and try to remeber the better days.
Marquez,Mayweather jr,Guzman,Valero,Soto,Kendal Holt,Hatton,Juan Diaz, Nate Campbell too many to name all these guys can beat pacquiao...but he chose to take on old fighters.

I know, huh? I am all for Oscar and I was also dissapointed to see him like that. No jab, no power punches, no lateral movements, no cutting the corners, no speed, NOTHING! I will remember all his accomplishments and admirable resume for now. Pac still looked in top shape. Showing speed, power, defense, etc. Keeps impressing me with every fight. I would like to see him loose of course (thought he lost against Marquez twice, but aaaaanyways...), see how his fans take it, but as for now it seems difficult to see him loose. There are lots of big names out there.
People really don't think about a fighter beating a guy who's old and passed his prime. People instead remember the guy who beat THE GREATEST and it is a great career builder for the winner. It has happened to many fighters who decide to stay longer in the ring than they have to: Sugar Ray Leonard, Mike Tyson, Muhammad Ali, Julio Cesar Chavez, just to name a few. That is why, like it or not, Lennox Lewis and Floyd Mayweather Jr. probably did a smart move on retiring while on their primes. Sure, it may leave a lot of question marks about what would have happened if he faced this or that.
