Solo Boxeo featuring Viloria and Antillon

here we go again kiddies.

Brian Viloria 23-2-0 (13 KOs) takes on Benjamin Garcia 13-10-3 (1 KO) in a 10 round Super Flyweight match. The co-feature is volume punching lightweight Urbano Antillon 24-0-0 (17 KOs) against Juan Ramon Cruz 15-5-1 (11 KOs).

Both fights look to be showcase fights Viloria who can be a skillful boxer when he chooses is fighting Garcia who couldn't crack at egg. Viloria is trying to make his way back up the ladder after being badly outworked by Omar Nino Romero. There was a rematch that was a draw but the title was stripped from Romero when he failed the post fight drug test. The WBC became vacant with Viloria getting a shot against Egar Sosa. Sosa pulled out a razor thin decision.

Urbano Antillon best known for dismantling Bobby Pacquiao in one round, has been taking opponents apart piece by piece for the better of 8 years now and has been featured on telefutura countless times. Cruz while not a push over is extremely outmatched.

Of course what on paper appear to be easy fights on Solo Boxeo tend to be close and action packed.

Im going to Micks year end award thread and changing my top up & comer/prospect.Antillon Imo will be a Champion.That double & triple left to the body/head is very destuctive.Nice uppercuts on the inside and caping off active year in nice fashion.......of course we still have 8 rounds or less :-X...a bit squared but showing some movement.Will be very exciting to see what developes

Antillon can keep this pace for 10 rounds if he needs to.

Would like more circling but damn that is an arsenal of varied shots.Needs to work on jab to set up combos instead of walking in and planting feet

The snap in Antillon's body shots are amazing, impressed by the right hook, right uppercut (Berto style) combo.

No doubt,At the risk of being called a fan boy,with a more active jab and some angels/side to side,I think he is a pretty complete package.One Major thing I like to see out of ANY undefeated on the cusp is how they react when pressured backwards for a spell.Would very much like to see Much more of Urbano!!

118-135 all those divisions are stacked right now except maybe 126.
Antillon's accuracy and power, gives him a chance enough to at least merit a shot against a top 10 guy. Even if he loses, it's not like his career would be over.

I think you nailed it.The lower weights are where it is at.Also with Linares apparently rejuvenated and moving up to grab a strap at 130.Antillon is numero uno for Humberto Sotos WBC belt......well the one he is going to wreck Lorenzo for anyway :fight:.The more one looks at the possibility's,the better it gets indeed.
