PBF has no interest in either Pacquiao or Hatton
Re: PBF has no interest in either Pacquiao or Hatton
Good now maybe we can get rid of some of these...or should I say it will prevent anymore of these Bullshit Threads and post by people swearing PBF is returning ASAP to fight one of the two.....
Make This thread Sticky!!!!
Good Find KananKrus..:appl:
Re: PBF has no interest in either Pacquiao or Hatton
I couldnt care less about PBF and his fights bore me rigid anyway. I hope he stays retired.
Re: PBF has no interest in either Pacquiao or Hatton
well technically all Ellerbe says is they haven't had discussions. Either way, who cares, he'll come back one of these days, or he won't. I'm not a shrine in the closet superfan so I don't care either way.
A pretty lame attempt by Hatton's people though, it seemed bogus from the beginning and I'm not surprised Floyd's people deny discussions with them.
Re: PBF has no interest in either Pacquiao or Hatton
GOOD...thanks for some much needed clarity. Now let us move on....just as boxing as a whole has done.
Re: PBF has no interest in either Pacquiao or Hatton
like i said before, why would floyd come out of retirement to fight someone he k/o already (hatton) or why would he risk losing to somebody already achieving much more greatness then he can. floyd aint got the balls to be as great as pac. floyd could come out of retirement beat margarito, beat cotto, beat williams but his a pussy. He claim his body needs to rest, wtf look at pac jmm mab bhop eric all the real great fighters. they have nearly two times more fight then floyd has and beside bhop these guys fighting style aint for the faint of heart.
Re: PBF has no interest in either Pacquiao or Hatton
....it's the people that hate him most who had the interest of seeing floyd fight again. Hillarious. No used getting pumped up to be let down (by floyd himself no less with his silly 24/7's and what not) there is always someone out there better the best, but this long drawn out quest for the guy is old. Anyone who feels they can't say thier life is complete till they see floyd loose don't give up. It ain't gonna happen anytime soon but in a couple of years when he gets just a bit slower, cockier, weaker, and bored he'll be stupid and come back instead of pulling a lennox and spending time with his kids family and money. As soon as either of them ever get back in the ring and loose they will be forgotten as long as they don't we get all these rumors and taughts and attention, what floyd probably loves more than anything else anyway. Oh yea and his money, which he apparantly has no trouble pulling out of his haters cable bills anyhow.
Re: PBF has no interest in either Pacquiao or Hatton
What bothers me also is that PBFs people are telling to the media that both PAC and HITMAN are only using PBFs name just to hype their proposed fight.. As if PBF is the only way of sort to make the fight a certified hit.. what a dumba***s... Boxing is good w/ or w/o PBF...

How many of Floyd Mayweather's fights have you actually seen ? because despite a few of his recent fights, most of his fights have been pretty exciting. Im quite suprised you like James Toney, who at his best fights similar to Floyd Mayweather, but you hate Floyd Mayweather's fights i just don't get that logic.
Arturo Gatti
Jesus Chavez
Jose Luis Castillo 1
Phillip N'dou
Zab Judah
Diego Corrales
Angel Manfredy
Genaro Hernandez
Emanuel Burton
And most of his early fights before he won a world title were top notch aswell, i can't understand how anyone couldn't enjoy the fights i've listed above. As for the thread itself that is disappointing i was hoping he'd fight Manny Pacquiao.
A fight between the two best P4P fighters is always mouth watering, and it hasn't happened since Julio Cesar Chavez vs Pernell Whitaker, but hopefully he means he doesn't want to fight either of those fighters, and that he wants to concentrate on the top Welterweight stars at the moment, but thats wishful thinking from me.
Re: PBF has no interest in either Pacquiao or Hatton
People are just stupid, ICB, they can't appreciate great fighters, look how many fell between the cracks Whitaker, McCallum, Toney, etc, etc. so many modern great fighters will never get the respect they deserve because people are retarded and just want to see blood.

Just feel I should add the Hatton fight to that list, probably my favourite fight of 2007 (not sayin it was the best just the one I enjoyed most). Still wouldn't be suprised if he came back to fight Pacquiao in late summer/autumn next year as both of their 'final fights', but can't see him goin after the fights himself, probably wait for the winner of Pac-Ricky if its Pac. Can't see the logic in fightin Hatton again. Who knows maybe he really did mean it when he said he didn't wanna box again?

i would appreciate floyd if he wasn't such a pussy. he rob all fight fans even you if you believe his this technician genious by retiring in the peak of the welterweight division. he fought oscar then hatton, not the best of the welterweight. he never gave the fans what it deserve. as soon as he got his big purses he left fight fans like a gullible ex girlfriend.
Re: PBF has no interest in either Pacquiao or Hatton
Floyd is a fraud. There is no Pbf fight anywhere.
Re: PBF has no interest in either Pacquiao or Hatton
there is almost zero interesting debate/discussion on this forum anymore.

You cant knock Floyd. Hall of Fame first ballot. No doubt about it. P4P best for a long time. And my below post is NOT in any way meant to discount his talent or achievements.
But, I understand why you wouldn't be a big fan if you just tuned into Floyd and only saw his last couple of fights. In those fights, he fought a little "scary."
This is by no means a comparison at all, at all, but for the sake of explanation, take Yuri Foreman: He can box and he is quick, but Boreman lacks in entertainment value. Of course, you can appreciate the man's talent, but his matches aren't very interesting. He moves a lot and never gets into serious exchanges. Again, no comparison there, just for the sake of explanation as to why Floyd's recent style may not be too entertaining to watch. Conversely, it's the same reason why you know you are getting a fun fight everytime Margarito steps into the ring.

Re: PBF has no interest in either Pacquiao or Hatton
This is not a guarantee that Pacquiao VS PBF is not going to happen. Any great fighter worth his weight know the inner workings and business side of boxing, more so the present PPV boxing. PBF did not skip the pages when there was a lecture about this. To generate more interest... say no when you mean yes, and say yes, when you mean no. At the end, cha-ching! more interest, more revenues. PBF is no bland character, he surely has the knack for this kind. WWF... Dancing With the Stars... He is not wanting in this department.
I'll reluctantly take away food... lessen food, from the table to see this fight!
