He just posted this about an hour ago. It's not like it's been here for days or he has posted lots of threads.

As for the other crap it's gotten sorted as it's found and so have the members. I think sometimes regular posters make things bigger then what they really are.

For example if CFH and yourself wouldn't have replied the thread would have washed off. I've mentioned this before by replying to a thread you bump it to the top.

If you've got a problem with a thread the best thing to do is report it to a MOD via PM. But you can't complain about something and then contribute to it by posting in the thread and drawing more attention to it. ;)

Im not being anything im simply stating an opinion, the main board's quality has gone down quite alot. Since alot of the older members left im not seeing anywhere near the quality of posts i used to see. I can reply to this thread if i want to, since when you see it or any of the MOD's see it, it will be moved or deleted.

But most of the threads i see on here now are hate threads started by Moono, or pointless Manny Pacquiao threads. Your obviously missing my point.

You are complaining about the posting on the main board.
But you don't realize that by replying to the thread you are drawing attention to that thread and to the "posting" that you say has ruined the main board.
The best way to deal with situations like that is to not encourage it and not draw more attention to it. But when you reply to it you are helping it.

At no point did I say you cant reply to anything I was simply suggesting something to you since your complaining about the quality of threads on the main board. I simply suggested/gave you and idea that the best thing to do is not reply to the threads and to instead report it to a MOD via PM.

As for people leaving that's nothing new, posters come and go and I still see a lot of quality posting here day and day out. For every top poster whos off on vacation or holiday or just taking care of life we still have top posters here who carry the board on.

Ive got news for you, there are a bazillion low rate fighters out there,there's things called undercards,well how do you think we fill them? Gold Glovers cost serious money when they turn pro,so guess what? The opening fight may offend your tender sensibilities(sensibilities I would recomend burying in a ditch if you ever decide to turn pro) but theyre just as much of the "sport you love" as the headliner,and it means just as much to the ham and eggers pummeling each other for crap money as it does to the headliners,if not more,because they need it more.

Seriously, just because people who participate in the TPS don't normally train doesn't mean it's against the rules to train. What aversion do these cats have against training?

I don't care much about these posts and for the most part can just ignore them, but what bothers me is what happened before, and has potential to happen again if it isn't curtailed.

I'd open up Saddos...and the first post of every section was about this. And it wasn't because people were interested in it...it was because the people involved in it were basically spamming the entire site. Was on the Main Board, the Training Section, Off Topics, Spam, Let's Get it On and the Hidden Forum...and likely others.

And they weren't just spamming this site, they were spamming every boxing site. And so I see it happening again. I can only imagine it is a collective agreement of cooperation perpetuated by Stacy, telling people to get the word out...and others who like sideshow freak acts like Charlie getting into it to laugh at and somehow feel better about themselves in the process.

It was funny at one time, but imho...it has run it`s course and takes away from the quality of the site overall. I don`t want to hear some lies about how Andrew is training 14 hrs a day in the training section, and then see a video of him talking trash with his kids in it. I thought he might get some help in there and it might keep him from getting hurt...but he proved to be fulla shit for after all the talk...he couldn`t even stand one round he was so gassed. So yea..whatever...it is not really a good reflection of the training section to say a new person who is sincere and really wanting to learn. Or to those of us who take training seriously...as well as the sport.

So if these threads are going to start up again...I hope and expect the MODS will keep it in check this time and find an appropriate place for it. For this is what these trailer park associated people do...they spam their brand of whatever you might call it, all over the damn place.

Ok in Andrews defense he was training,and is again,he had a bad string of luck that could happen to anyone,a loss in the family,and a really nasty form of the flu that went through here. No he didnt train as hard as he could have,or should have before Dumas,I started helping him,really late in that game,at that point,all I could do was give him ring advise. I had no time to ensure that it was implemented in the ring. And there was a couple of things he didnt tell me that directly hurt his performance,I would have come up with a different game plan if I'd known,we now have a tacit agreement that he tells me everything,good bad or otherwise. Having seen the recent tape on him,he looks technically better then he ever has,and in tighter shape.We'll see what happens.
They just arent in the same position I am,I might mention a fight one of my fighters have coming,just because Im proud of them,but usually thats about it,unless Im the promoter,it isnt my job to promote the fight,thats why ppromoters are called promoters. I more or less read the contracts,and tell them to sign or not. These kids have to sell themselves hard,just to break even.
It gets a bit ridiculous I'll grant,but its the only way they can get anyone to look at them.

Let's suppose that this thread is started by the real Charlie Zelenoff. I've been familiar with this dude's posts now for what, 3 years? Charlie's posts are always about Charlie, he never discusses anything but himself.
So if you see Charlie started a thread, rest assured; the post is about Charlie. When he posts, he contributes only one post then he ignore his thread and it grows on it's own from other people commenting, so I can't agree that the public interest has run it's course.
Am I ready for a new topic of interest? you betcha!
