Let's make a list of the best fights ever, according to how many rounds they lasted. In other words, what's the best 1 round fight ever, the best 2 round fight ever, etc.
For example, I think we'd all agree that Hagler-Hearns is the best 3 round fight of all-time.
Is Corrales-Castillo the best 10 rounder ever? Ali-Frazier III the best 14 rounder?

Yeah, that was good. I guess that was Gomez that won. He had amazing powers of recovery. A couple of times he was really staggered, and within seconds he was back into the fight.Quote:

Nobody's picked a 15 rounder yet? Holmes-Norton was the first to pop up for me, but there's so many.
Off the top of my head I don't know any 14 round fights better than Arguello-Pryor 1, not saying they don't exist, just don't remember that many 14 round fights.
Actually I prefer Holyfield-Qawi 1 to Holmes-Norton. Still not sure that's the best though, gotta think on it.

I think Leonard-Hearns was 14 rounds and The Thrilla in Manilla was 14 rounds and I think it's between the last two, I would take Pryor-Arguello but wouldn't argue the other way.Quote:

For 12 rounds my personal favorite fight ever is Bobby Chacon and Carlos Boza-Edwards, it's almost hard to watch at times how both guys took those shots. I suspect there's a better 6 round fight than Vazquez-Marquez 2 but that's the only one I can think of now.

Hagler-Hearns. Three rounds of unmitigated fury. Non-stop balls to the wall.
Antwun Echols vs Charles Brewer was just as good shame about the ending, it was a bit premature IMO. But action wise its just as good regarding 3 round fight as Marvin Hagler vs Thomas Hearns.Quote:
