Ok guys anyone interested I'm going to do an NFL playoff game. It will be week by week, picking the winner in each game. Points will be awarded as follows. If you want to play just post the current weeks picks on this thread.

Anyone know if Rothlisburger (sp) is playing?

Yes he is there isn't much chance he wouldn't, his X Rays came back negative and they said last week he would be good to go in all likelyhood, haven't heard anything sicne but yeah you can pretty much bet on it. Concussions in the NFL are like losing teeth in hockey, they aren't really that big of a deal even when they should be.

I would have been happily mistaken, but I've been watching the Vikings as a fan since 1989 and knew what to expect.

I'm also a Cards fan and have been since the days of a washed up Gary Clark and a young Ricky Proehl, but I just think the Panthers will be to much for them.

In football there are too many links in the chain to just pick your team to win because you wish they would.

Boxing is different because it all rides on one man.

As a side note; this years playoffs are REALL boring as far as the teams that are in it.. This whole season has been really weird.. There are really no huge names like Brady/Manning, besides Mcnabb and Eli.. LT is hurt..

The Titans have Kerry Collins, Panthers have Delhomme, Cardinals have Warner, Ravens Flacco.. just a REALLY weird year.. The Titans excite me, but that's mainly because they've come a long way this year.. The Falcon's were a great underdog with Ryan (rookie of the year) Roddy White, Turner etc.. but they're out..

I think the best teams remaining, keeping experience in mind, are the Panthers and Giants, both NFC which is strange, but i see another NFC winner this year.
