Re: Look at this Dispicable Article by Michael Marley He insults HATTON!
He is not making dfun of Hatton as a fighter but his camp for their claims of having opponents that will draw as many viewers as Pacquiao would.....
The joke is there is no one at the moment

Well I find it a bit offensive because Hatton is a swell fellow and has always been a stand up guy.
Hatton could fight anyone and make more money then pacquiao, he doesnt need manny he could sell out wembly and fight 5 more times there and be wealthy.
He only needs manny so his ppv in American does well.
Look at hatton vs lazcano and that was coming off a lose to floyd jr! he sould 50k tickets.

Re: Look at this Dispicable Article by Michael Marley He insults HATTON!
In an ironic way Manny's demolition of Oscar has given impetus to the fact that the little guys, Marquez, Guzman, Diaz, Campbell, Valero etc could all compete at a higher weight class than previously thought.
Prior to that fight the best opponent for Hatton was Malignaggi, the only real threat at light welter. But Manny's win over Oscar at 147 now makes us all extremely interested to see how guys like Juan Manuel Marquez, Nate Campbell and Juan Diaz would do against Hatton at 140.
I agree with Moono that Hatton has a ton of competition out there now and doesn't need the Pacquaio fight by any means (although to be clear it IS the best fight out there for him).
A fight with Marquez would be huge. He could easily sell out Wembley and do a SKY PPV against Juan Diaz or Nate Campbell.
And if Barrera beats Khan that too would be a massive Wembley showdown in the making for later in the year.
Maybe even Khan himself if he were to beat Barrera.
Then there are wild card types like Edwin Valero, Zab Judah, possibly even Andre Berto all of which look very attractive fights.
After Manny Pacquaio himself Hatton has some of the most lucrative potential matchups of any fighter in boxing in any weight class. He definitely doesn't NEED Pacquiao although of course he is the best opponent in terms of money, legacy etc, but that is also true for Manny unless Floyd comes out of retirement.
Certainly I think Hatton could probably generate as much money for himself fighting Marquez, Diaz, Valero, Judah, Berto etc as Manny could.
Ricky could host those fights in the UK and make millions off the gate receipts alone. A nice healthy Sky deal as well he's sorted.

Very true
but hatton doesnt even need those guys, let him fight more lazcano types and he could make a bundle.
The only reason he needs pacquiao is because he is fighitng in America and pacquiao is the biggest draw he can get now to sell american ppv, since oscar lost to him and floyd jr is retired.

Yes Yes!!!! let Hatton avoid the very best fighters he possibly could sign against so he could make mopney fighting lesser opponents....
Do you work for Frank Warren?.....
I think Hatton would rather fight thje best names he can not the second tier...He is at the elite level

I was referring to him making money, he can make money fighitng a scrub...but pacman wants money so he NEEDS hatton more then hatton needs pacquiao.
Hattons intention is to fight pacman and beat him for his legacy, pacmans is money and to give it away to people.
Hatton is the peoples champion he fights for the Legacy and he fights the tough guys only.
Pacman doesnt have the stuff that hatton has, I think Pacman would be scared to fight mayweather to be honest, I mean he avoided Guzman..his handlers hand fed him washed up fights which is sad cause I think pacman is a tough fighter.
If they put pacman against some prime fighters we would see more competitive fight of the years, remember pac vs jmm and pac vs morales the first fight?
thats what pacman looks like against live foes.

If he fought a few bums in a row and no one near the top his gate takings would diminish quickly. Sure he'd make a lot for a couple of fights but fans would soon get sick of him fighting bums.

well look at it this way who has Pacquiao fought who was as dangerous a 1 punch hitter as Kostya Tszyu?
Or as technical and primed as Floyd jr?
Pacman wouldnt last the 7th round with floyd jr, he wouldnt get as far as hatton did.
Floyd jr you must admit would pot shot pacquiao worse then he did hatton we must look at things objectively and honestly...from a boxing fan stand point style make fights and floyd jr style would make pacman easy money for him.

I don’t think Pacquiao needs Hatton more than Hatton need Pacquiao.
Maybe you’re right Hatton could sell out Wembley, maybe he could generate a lot of money fighting other opponents but same thing works for Manny too. You said Hatton will fight Pacman for his legacy so he NEEDS Pacman for his legacy. He desperately needs Pacman because he didn’t fight many big names (like Pac did) and he lost to one of them. I respect your opinion, I recognize he did a lot for this sport and I know what he means for the British fans but I think he needs more than Pacquiao to fight elite fighters. Of course if you speak just about money, you could be right

Why wouldn't Pacquiao last 7 rds against PBF?....Pacquiao has a chance of beating PBF....He is faster, moves more, throws punches at all angles, wont gas out like many of PBF past opp and would not allow PBF to make him fight his fight......Pacquiao's speed alone would make it very hard for PBF to lay back and counter.....Freddie Roach has proven in the past he knows how to come up with strategy for Pac to win and Pacquiao has proven he can fight at different styles.....Pac can take shots off PBF because PBF is not a KO puncher....Weather he would beat PBF or not is something that can only be found out in the rting but it would be no mismatch....In fact he brings more to the fight then a one dimensional Hatton.....Hit Hug...Hit, Hug....Hit Hug....Move head right left hook to body....over and over again
Tszyu was waay past his best.......
Pacquiao has faced...Sanchez, 3K Battery, Barrera, Morales, Marquez, Larios, Solis, Diaz, DLH,....Just to name a few.....
Hatton beat Tszyu, was embaressed by PBF, beat Malignaggi, Was given a gift against Collazo, beat Lazcano, a shot Castillo, Olivera,
Hatton has went at it with more guys over the Hill then the Social Security Administration..
Who the hell are you kidding

I will read what you wrote later since im going to bed.
but I will answer you one simple way, you said about floyd vs pac.
The reason pacman has no chance really because he is not SCIENTIFIC like floyd jr.
Floyd jr is an artist, pacman is just a energetic Tiger who tries to maul people, he relies on reflexes and speed but without that he has no real boxing skill.
pacman is just very athletic that Warrior mentality is useless against a scientific Fighter like floyd jr.
If hatton couldnt do it then how on earth can Pacman? its logic man.

You're saying that Hatton is absolutely better than PAC? :p

Re: Look at this Dispicable Article by Michael Marley He insults HATTON!
What a joke.
Pac's own trainer and promoter are saying there's NO OTHER huge money (15m+) fight for him. Next fight he'll be making "only" around $2 million if he funks this up.
Hatton is the one linked with Floyd's comeback and the Marquez-Diaz winner.

I don't think a Hatton vs. Floyd rematch is an attractive fight... Nobody wants to see a ring post knocking Hatton out again...
I also read somewhere that Hatton admitted he's "too small" for PBF at 147...

You're right, it's not an attractive fight. That doesn't change the fact Hatton-Floyd 2 could happen.
According to Freddie Roach.. Pac has options of either Valero or Judah for a $2 million payday should he ruin the Hatton fight.
There's no Mayweather talk.. and Mayweather is the ONLY guy Pac could fight that would get him close to the HUGE money he makes with Hatton.
Greediness has cost him bigtime should the fight not happen.

I'm confused with Hatton... He already admitted that he's "too small" for PBF at 147 and yet he's still seeking a rematch... Hatton really a warrior boxer... But I hope Hatton also considers the feelings of the fans... Rematch with Mayweather is not anymore an attractive fight for the fans... Fans might think a ring post will knock Hatton out again...

The Mayeather rematch would be attractive to the HUMONGOUS audience it will draw in Britain. And be attractive to Hatton and Floyd for the HUMONGOUS money they will earn.
Hopefully this wont happen.
But it's not Hattons fault if Pac doesn't want to fight him, is it? Hopefully Pac sees sense and stops being so GREEDY. Then we'll have a good fight for us fans ;)

It was DLH who asked for the fight with Pacquiao not the Pacquiao camp approaching team DLH so what??????...
Oscar thought he was going to finally get his win over a P4P ranked fighter and felt the small size of Pacquiao would give him the advantage he needed and he was beaten from pillar to post for it....
The bully syndrome went the other way around.....
That is the last post of yours I will reply to...they have zero merit and I believe you just post things to start a bit of contraversy...you even contradict yourself....
Keep it up and you will soon enough be flushed

Re: Look at this Dispicable Article by Michael Marley He insults HATTON!
People are forgetting the exponential growth in Pacquiao fans after the Oscar fight, look what it did to Mayweather, and how it put him on the map, sure he was making good sales before that fight, but now he is a world known athlete.

I'm confused again?? Why the Hatton-PBF rematch will be attractive to humongous audience in Britain? Don't tell me British fans find it attractive seeing Hatton slammed to that ring post again?? Hatton is "too small" for PBF at 147 as what he personally admitted...

that was bogus oscar was drained its sad thatt team pac would make a man suffer just to beat him as a weak older guy. very much like a bully with no compassion.
Daxx me and you seem to agree on alot of stuff anymore. ANd you used to be sensitive to people, now you are a bigger arse than me! ;D
But yeah, this guy should post little and just try to get a clue. I don't mind someone stretching arguments even in a theoritical sense, but tis guy doesn't artiuclate anything well and his logic (or lack thereof) is comic.

I'm surprised you don't understand it considering you have a lot in common with the Hatton fans.
You have an undying passionate LOVE for Pac, right?. Well the same goes for fans of Hatton.
So should he fight Mayweather again they'll turn out in droves to show their LOVE for him. Simple as. ;)

OK I get it now, millions of Hatton fanboys will buy the rematch even if it means seeing Hatton get slammed to a ring post again by PBF...;)
As for PAC, I guess he was not yet knocked out by a ring post before...
