A train?! it takes a stiff breeze to knock either of them down! :p
-
Re: Haye gets hit by a train
Hey,big ups to both of them for taking it
-
Re: Haye gets hit by a train
Haye is going to outspeed and beat Wlad to the punch till Klit is tits up staring at the ceiling
-
Re: Haye gets hit by a train
Both Ibragimov and Chris Byrd were/are plenty of fast, and neither them could stop Wlad from landing on them, nor could they land on him. If he fights how he has been fighting I find quite hard for Haye to counter over his jab.

Re: Haye gets hit by a train
Yeah, Haye is gonna get hit by a train...hahahaha, in the train station because he got too drunk from partying after he knocked Wlad the fuck out.

Both of those guys couldnt break an egg, Haye can end a fight with one punch and will have Wlad fighting at a different strategy then those 2 since haye will be putting on the pressure.. Klit absolutely comes unglued when pressured and buzzed, Haye will land on him and have Wlad floundering around

Re: Haye gets hit by a train
lets hope this fight happens
will be a bloody great summer showdown (for haye anyway ;D i hope)

Agreed, it should be a good fight too. I think that Haye definetly has the ability/potential to beat Wlad... if he boxes properly.
We know that either man can be KO'd in a blink too! Really hope this comes off for Haye... out of the two Klits it's definetly the better one for him (assuming Vitali is as back as people say, didn't see the Peter fight so it's hard to judge just how much of a force he still is)

Why would it be Haye putting on the pressure? He can't afford to be counter coming in. Ibragimov has 22 wins and 17 knockouts. How do you say he can't break an egg shell? He was a silver medalist in the olympics, he is a very good fighter who would give Haye all the problems in the world. The fact is that neither Sultan nor Chris could land anything punching power aside if you can't land then you can't hurt somebody. The key to the fight is if Haye can counter over Wlad's jab and I am not so sure he can.

Re: Haye gets hit by a train
Finally, an exciting championship heavyweight match-up.

I agree here, but would add a question: has anyone gone to Vlad's body?

Some times he has lapses in reaction/slips to bad angles and positions and ends up getting hit when he shouldn't but he can also be pretty cute when it comes to getting his counters/shots off.

Its a very dangerous fight for both of them, with so many champions being coddled like baby's the fact that these guys signed on for the tough fight rather then the easy one is impressive

Re: Haye gets hit by a train
Will be exciting at least...I still have my bet going with?????....They will remind me I am sure but anyhow it still stands (maybe it is Lefty?)
I pick Wlad by KO

Sultan is not known as a KO puncher... Haye comes to fight and he's looking for the KO, you wont see him boxing on the outside not taking any chances and happy to survive... Haye will sell out when he finds his openings, like trying to get in a double dutch game... Thats when Wlad will come unglued when he feels the pressure

Re: Haye gets hit by a train
If this fight happens I'm definitely going, I've said that before.
Nothing would be better than seeing Dr Slap get knocked the fuck out LIVE.
Damn its gonna be brutal. Haye is gonna kick 10 shades of shite out of him. So long at the top Slap. Fukking fraud.
And yes Daxx, we have a year long name change bet.
-
Re: Haye gets hit by a train
Wlad is a much better fight for Haye than Vitali.
More unpredictable.
At least with Wlad we know if Haye detonates a bomb on his head he's kipping.
-
Re: Haye gets hit by a train
Haye to spark Wlad in the 7th round...
PS: ANyone reccomend where to buy the tickets for this fight for the best prices? I really want to go to this fight and it would be my first.. (hey, I'm 17.. I have to start sometime.)
-
Re: Haye gets hit by a train
at last if its on a fight in the heavyweight to get genuinely excited about. the better of the 2 klitschkos for haye to fight. the great thing about this matchup is who lands the big bomb first as both can be tagged.
-
Re: Haye gets hit by a train
Sounds like it will be held at Chelsea Football Stadium.
Really glad this is happening. Should be explosive.
-
Re: Haye gets hit by a train
Wlad really wants to fight Valuev but Valuev is ducking him.
Wlad will stomp Haye....Haye has power and handspeed but when Monte Barrett can "catch you off balance" it's bad. If Wlad catches Haye out of position it's GAME OVER. Wlad will pummel the crap out of Haye with the jab and then put the icing on the cake with the right cross and left hook.....David Haye will NEVER BE THE SAME. I hope you guys are happy

Re: Haye gets hit by a train
Haye has not earned such an honor to fight for any hw belt much less three. There are many others that deserve a shot at the belts/money. I wouldn't be surprised if the sanctioning bodies put this on hold but anyway if it does happen Wlad will have easy to hit Haye out by rd 5 at the latest with the jab alone.

Then how can you cheer for David Haye?!?!?! You've never seen him fight live and in person!!!!! (I recall you using that reasoning against me when you found out I am a Liverpool fan) ;D
Haye is in way over his head if this fight goes through

What he did as a Cruiserweight means nothing at Heavyweight. Michael Moorer use to crush fools as a Light Heavyweight. Evander Holyfield would destroy Cruiserweights. Neither one was a wrecking machine as a Heavyweight. And Haye is nothing close to being a Holyfield or Moorer.

Re: Haye gets hit by a train
i dont know if haye has ever tasted a power of a heavyweight and we are talking about wlad and not just any heavyweight here. he will be in for a surprise.

Quite true sir, I question Haye's ability to beat these guys (much less take their punches): Sultan Ibragimov, Cris Arreola, Alexander Dimitrenko, Alexander Povetkin, Jameel McCline, Lamon Brewster, Cedric Boswell, Travis Walker.....hell if Eddie Chambers could fight 10-12 rounds (throwing punches) he'd eat Haye alive with counter shots.
-
Re: Haye gets hit by a train
haye getting ran over by a train is more likely then haye beating a klitschko.
-
Re: Haye gets hit by a train
If Wlad wasnt so fragile and didnt flounder around the ring when pressured, it wouldnt be an issue

Calvin Brock did, but haye needs to be careful to not get caught coming, its hard to go to the body against such a powerful jab that is always keeping you off balance and not able to set your stance on the inside, I know Haye did great body work against Mormeck, but Wald isn't Mormeck. I don't think Wlad has been hurt to the body, and I am sure somebody in his 50+ fights have gone to the body.
-
Re: Haye gets hit by a train
Guys ALWAYS try to hit Wlad to the body and sure he'd be vulnerable against someone who knew what the hell they were doing but all most guys land to the body are arm punches because Wlad ties them up shortly there after.
David Haye had better stick and move and tie Wlad up first if he wants to win. Calvin Brock did a good job vs Wlad but he was a tricky fighter with a strange style and Haye is just a wild puncher he offers nothing else. Haye is Wlad's chance to really get credit for a big win (despite Haye being GROSSLY under qualified but hey Obama can be President, then I guess a guy with 2 heavyweight fights can fight for 3 titles  )
-
Re: Haye gets hit by a train
First off....is it just me...or is this fight doing it's very best to usurp the boxing headlines in terms of the will it-wont it nature and it does appear this finally is going to happen.
As for the actual fight itself, I reckon its got a lot of potential for excitement. Those who have fought Wlad recently haven't exactly been to spright around the ring, and I think Haye moving up a division will bring the speed and tempo that is really going to throw Klitschko Jr off his game. However, the real question is whether or not Haye can get around, or walk through the Klitschko jab. That jab is what has saved his chin, because with that huge reach there is only speed or resilience that will allow a boxer to get past the jab, and I;m not sure Haye has either of those.
Despite Klitschko's current record, if he beats Haye I think it will be more of a surprise to me than to most.
Gwan davey boy.
-
Re: Haye gets hit by a train
Been saying for ages that i really Fancy David to beat him by early KO.
To be fair it's his only chance as Wlad will end up manhandling him and walking him around the ring which will just sap Hayes power and suspect Stamina.
He needs to throw bombs early on and unsettle Wlad and crack onto his weak chin and then apply mad pressure and get all over him with his speed.
Trust me if David can land huge shots and be first to do so he's gonna win this by KO within 5 rounds.
If it gets to the mid rounds and Wlad is still in there and has got his jab going then Haye loses.
Simple as that.
Gonna be some fight this and i'm just waiting for the OFFICIAL announcement so i can get some decent tickets....but to be honest nothing is signed yet!!
Also don't like Football grounds for fights because all the floor seats (bar the first 20 rows from ringside) offer a SHIT view and a hefty pricetag.
02 Arena would be better and i just wonder how many will come out and pay for this given Hayes lak of terrestrial tv exposure :-\
