The nicest days of your life.

Whats yours ?
You must have had some wicked days but if one or two stand out here is a good place for bragging rights.

For the last three days Ive not worked got up at sunrise yesterday drove 20 miniutes through winding hills full of vine yards and strawberry fields undulating . Fast drive on the edge to get the adrenallin up for what Im about to do.
Sh!t hot, reach Flinders cliffs which is like looking over one of those Irish cliffs onto many surf reefs about 100 feet below.Phillip Island where the great whites live is out on a 45% angle ten miles away but they got seals over there adn none come to Flinders for some reason :confused: so the big sharks are rare.

There is noone out on my favorite surf break(noone on any of them! Only small waves about chest high some a touch more. I just about got adrenalin dripping out of my nose as im paddling out over the deeper channel backinto reed covered reef.

Out there on my own for two + hours on a dropping tide ,(so I feel safer from anything large cause Im touching the odd rock as Im paddling out ; got one wave from the take off rock put my arm into the wallof water (Like a handbrake) and stopped into the tube then pulled my arm out and never came out the barrel until the wave stopped. Smoking ;D! I thought to my self :rolleyes:,wonder how long that was? So as the next wave pitched over the start of the reef I layed there and counted on my fingers 1 and2and3 to 7 until that one went behind me.

A 7 second pit !!!!!!! noone even looked at the break, i was totally alone noone even walking on the beach!

On the way back I drove slow to sunnyridge farm and bought 8 bucks worth of the largest juciest strawberries I've ever eaten (I couldnt get my thumb and middle finger around one of them :lickish:) and drove through the sunny countryside on the way home scoffing berrys thinking "I wonder what the poor are up to"; Sat down in front of the airconditioner and went to sleep in my favorite chair. Done that 3 days in a row, but people were out there with me the other two days.

Well thats my slice of heaven ;), probably not yours though.

But when Everton FC beat Liverpool FC a few years back. We won 3-0. Obviousley in about 10-15 yrs it will probs be the birth of my child or whatever but right now it has to be that day.

Just a great day, celebrating all night long....seeing the faces on those horrible inbred Liverpool fans was pure priceless. Even better than the first time I had sex (Football always comes before girls).

However if I pass my driving test on Friday that will probbably eclipse it....

I think you've already discovered the true pleasures in life young Josh, don't get much better than those two right there.

Bilbo has punched a stuffed animal in the face before, he got quite a thrill out of it. He left the room, he was thinking about going back in the room but just rested on his laurels. Exciting stuff. He had his brother walk in the room first.

I don't know what the best day of my life was, honestly. I think and nothing comes to my mind I think my mind is just all hazy. Maybe when I visited California as a kid, my first boxing event, losing my virginity but to be honest I was shiiiiitttfaced so it doesn't stand out as much as other times, the time I licked asshole (I'm fuckin wit you) and then everytime I get high it's almost always great.

In all seriousness, having conversations with Angelo Dundee and Pernell Whitaker sticks out.

Well, mine are the defaults... birth of son, birth of second son, etc. But beyond those, hard to say. a couple of my buddies' bachelor parties were pretty good. :cool:

I cant for the life of me remember what the vows where the judge had us recite,I just remember how beautiful she looked,I do remember having to be prodded to recite them because I was too busy staring at her.
I cant remember driving home from the hospital at all after the wife and kid were taken care of,and the nurses more or less kicked me out. But I'll remember holding him in my hands right after he was born for the rest of my life.The doctors had to gently hint that the mother might want to take a look at him.

in that case then, my most recent nicest day/night of my life is doing 100+ on the free way at 2am for about 12 miles or 4 exits. i dont really get reckless like that but i just didnt care. I had GOdSMACK " i stand alone" busting up my speakers. it felt great man.

i dont know about any of you guys but i tend to go out and ride away when i got problems. i'd go from seattle and nearly to oregon and back in one night. I just put on loud music and ride away. :)

Any day at the beach is great for me. I could go to the beach alone and enjoy myself. I also like going for a swim/workout and then hitting up the steam room afterwards, real refreshing feeling.

this past summer i went to the beach at least 30-40 times, went home, showered, napped, then out to the bars at night.. A real vicious cycle with all of the drinking but it was a constant party and i was with great people the whole time.

With that said, i can't wait for this winter to be over!!!!!!

27 been working on a roof doing some Lead work, dinner time came down the Ladder got to the bottom rung, and had a Stroke. Woke up in Hospital, the doctor told me what had happened. Thought what a lucky Cunt I am, never worried about much since then. ;D

I used to have a lot of fun when I was about 5 years old. My friends and I used to play Star Wars and would become the characters from the films. I used to do a fantastic Darth Vader impression, breathing heavily through a cardboard box. Ah great days those.

And when I was a little older, my mum worked during the day so I was naughtily left alone for the afternoons. We lived in a village at the time and there was countryside for miles around. I promised my mum that I would stay home, and instead went on these huge bike rides by streams and up and down mountain roads. My mother never found out, and they seemed like such adventures. Fond times looking back.

Days when someone or something makes me laught so much I can hardly stand up or want to cry.

People who have that effect on me are generally good friends or family and the jokes not malicous.

For example one time a running friend flashed some wanker in a car who'd driven past us and made a negative comment to one of the girls about her legs.

The flashing was part of a tyrade when she caught up to him at the traffic lights and the extreme shock on his face at not actually being able to get away with the smart remark he made was helarious - along with the rest of the traffic wondering WTF this crazy woman was doing fashing a guy in the middle of this busy road and giving him the finger too.

My bros generally make me laugh. Usually when we're paying each other out.

I have another friend from uni who is so animated she can just make anything funny and I don't know how she does it. A normal person repeats exactly the same thing and it's just not funny.

Someone else once stank out a toilet so bad when he was sick I couldn't walk in. The two of us trying to air it out enough for me to enter had me laughing so much i won't forget it any time soon.

Little events really - nothing huge but they are the spice of life for me above some of the bigger sounding things.

Too much to choose from. :cool:

Being the fittest kid in my year doing the bleeping test. Which is basically running up and down a hall, and theres sound on the stereo which blips quicker and quicker. I was the last kid standing and i was pretty proud of that.

Thats the one's that come to mind theres many more, but i'll be here all day if i remember more i'll list em later.

I was a nice 75kg travelling home LoL

Really big days for me have happened when I've been out of work for a while, and have managed to land a good job with lots of potential.

Other times I really like are when I can get back to nature, with none of the sounds of the city, or even other humans, to intrude. Only natural sights and sounds, I find that very relaxing.

Other times of course are when a woman I've really been mad for comes home with me.

I love the invisable things of life too. Like shareing real time.
Shareing a real nasty time with someone; (not a real victum with a built in excuse,cause thats a waste of both your time,but a fighter whos down and out) and getting emotionally involved in their plight, feel their pain etc so that they experience you on exactly the same level they feel they are at.
Then eventually walking out the other side of it all with them in tact, has to be the best feeling in the world I wouldnt swap it for all the tea in China.

I wish I had more oppertunities in life to share real time like that,but the mundane crap takes over for most of it.
When you realize that something like that has worked out for the best its as if you were in a dream state for that time, Like in the zone, you went in fully awake, stepped into a nightmare where just by being there and sharing their feelings placed a different view on it; the words that come out are not yours its like they are plucked out of the air and divine timing takes over. Everything becomes slowly orderly and more managable, then you awaken to find out it was all very cool. The journey ends but becomes a new starting point for them ;however tough and however long its been going for has made them into a completly different character, a stronger one thats sets their new boundaries up ;against others who would still ride them down. They wont allow those old patterns of thoughts and feelings to ever have that effect over them again. Nothing better than to see a brother or sister throw old chains off and run again.

Good one.

Another thing I really appreciate are times when I've really felt like I've come to an understanding about the meaning of my life, the secrets of existence are unlocked, and I am at one with the universe. Then after a few hours the drugs start to wear off and none of it makes sense any more. :( :)
