Riera is having an awful match so far, his first touch is all wrong. Chelsea is playing very sloppy and Dirk Kuyt as usual is all motor and no finish...he puts himself in great position and then just screws it all up.
I swear Liverpool would be better off with Voronin than Kuyt or Keane....he fits in better with Gerrard and Torres IMO
Man, I miss Peter Crouch.....Dirk Kuyt just plain sucks he has been better this year but in the big games he hasn't come through like he should have.
Crouch has scored 8 goals in 20 games, Voronin scored 5 last season in 19 games and has scored 3 in 13 games so far this season, and meanwhile Keane has scored 5 goals in 19 games and Kuyt has scored 7 goals so far.......hell Liverpool should just go ahead and start Babel he might be a spaz with the ball every now and then but at least he can put it in the net!
Ive just watched the derby against Newcasle vs Sunderland.It was acracking game to watch.No way was it a penalty to Newcasle though their did deserve a goal.How are you supporting,,,Liverpool?
I support Liverpool and I have for quite some time....I was a fan a year or two before their fantastic win over AC Milan in the Champions League. It was mighty tough watching that match down 3-0 at half and then they went on to win on PK's....that is the type of soccer Americans need to see! But we have the MLS sooooo yeah we get a whole bunch of scrubs out there, there is nothing like the EPL here.

A much needed win!! United are looking too strong at the moment and Liverpool are struggling to string together wins. I hope we somehow see a change in the tide before too long. Its not over yet.
Big victory, looks like Keane has gone. Rafa does not waste time with crap players. Kuyt and Rierra are good players, Babel is shite, Benny is only a good sub. We can do it. Lamps, as much as I hate him and the history he has with Alonso, he did not deserve to be sent off. Ref is a joke.
Keane isn't crap it's just that he and Gerrard play the same position basically.
Kuyt is just a spaz when he gets the ball, Riera had a bad match but he has been great this season...like if Harry Kewell ever played OR had talent.
Voronin or Crouch would have really done better matched up with Gerrard and Torres. Voronin, as much as everyone hates on him can control the ball AND he can create chances for other players. Crouch is just great on set pieces and if you just want to cross the ball right infront of the goal and he's nearby then you have a shot at scoring.
In the end there just wasn't enough ball to spread between Torres, Keane, and Gerrard. If Kuyt could possess the ball better or pass better he'd be a great player to have out there but IMO he's kind of like a cross between Peter Crouch and Jermaine Pennant except for shorter and slower.
Heard ref has rescinded the red card against Lamps. Wally.
