Mark TKO photos : In the footsteps of Rocky Balboa
Some of you may have been aware that I just been in US for 3 weeks. Anyway I always wanted to visit the locations from the Rocky movies and 'run' the stairs so here's a few pics from a few locations
I got all the locations from totalrocky.com - thank god we had satnav !
Rocky's apartment

Re: Mark TKO photos : In the footsteps of Rocky Balboa
Nice! Thanks for these.
Did you have six raw eggs in a glass for breakfast too?
-
Re: Mark TKO photos : In the footsteps of Rocky Balboa
only 5 eggs as was pretty full mate from breakfast ;)
smash - took us about 5 hours to do the lot (including the Blue Horizon). Had we not had a car with sat nav though could have taken a few days - we may never have found some of the places !
We also did the stairs separetely the day after and went early to get a clear run ;D Our hotel was 5 minute walk away luckily
we used this guys brilliant ' Rocky Jumped a Park Bench' video guide to map them out and then pinpointed them on some mapping software.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZVwu-UbpPUw (theres a part 2 to this)
Anyone wishing to do it just let me know as have tham all pinpointed on a map in word format which you can use ;)

Re: Mark TKO photos : In the footsteps of Rocky Balboa
It just dawned on me,that the gym is the same building they used for the headquarters for 12 Monkeys.
God damn it,I really want a cheese steak right now, but you cant get them right outside of philly, you cant get the rolls. Amaroso should expand to extra locations, so I can get a decent cheese steak

they were in an area where I was uncomfortable put it that way :)

Re: Mark TKO photos : In the footsteps of Rocky Balboa
I've always liked those pics, it's really cool that someone has gone out and followed in the footsteps of some films that we all love. That's really great. And those first 2 films are really wonderful IMO.
