Do you think PAC will inflict the worst beating ever on Hatton?

Its a possibility, but I hope not.

My main worry is the cuts and swelling on Hattons part. I can really see Pac's rapid fire blows scratching up his face and early.

Im hoping that Hatton can get to Pac before the damage accumulates. Hatton has got to be in Pac's face and roughing him up like never before.

Mles touched on somethig important.
Speede causes swelling and should Hatton be cut, he will not be shown the same courtesy he receives from the English referees.

Hatton has to be relentless.
If Hatton executes a Tszyu like effort, ut with more defense and clean punches I think he can hurt Manny

I really like Ricky Hatton,im a big fan of him and im hoping he'll do great against Pacman,but to be honest i think Hatton will sustain heavy cuts around his face especially his eyes!!Thats how i see it and i have a gut feeling that hatton will reform into his old self when the rounds go on and get clocked as he leaves his newly adopted guard behind.He'll start off as he did against Paulie and he'll be finding it too hard to catch Pacman,with Pacman being twice as quick as the Magic Man,and as the rounds go futher he'll just reform into his old style again and go toe to toe with Pacman and end up getting heavy cuts to his face!

Thats how i see it.I hope im wrong though,but im being realistic in my view anyhow.

I'm also afraid that Hatton's face will become a bloody mess... PAC's speeding punches easily creates cuts (cuts like a knife) plus Hatton's face is susceptible to cuts... Could be the worst beating on Hatton ever... Worst than what PBF did to Hatton by slamming him to the ring post and knocking Hatton down and out...

Although I think Pac will probably win I think it will be a close fight and I certainly don't think it will be an ODLH performance from Pac.

I'm asking this question based on PAC's record of dishing the worst beating to great opponents like Barrera, JMM, Morales, DDiaz, DelaHoya, etc. So I'm thinking it's very possible Hatton will receive his worst beating ever at the hands of PAC...

Although I see Pac winning, I can't see it being more one-sided than the Mayweather defeat.

Yep, Mayweather slamming Hatton to the ring post to knock him out is hard to beat but I think PAC will make Hatton's face a bloody mess and stop Hatton earlier than what PBF did...

I got to agree with this whole heartly, But I really hope this fight is a classic!

i voted dont no based upon which hatton turns up. if he fights like he did against mayweather or lazcano then maybe,but if he turns up like he did for the malignaggi,tyszu fight i think he can win.remember hatton will be by far the strongest dude pac has faced. but hes gonna need alot of head and foot movement. he cant come and charge in like nut case,coz pac will pick him off all night, hes gonne have to work his way in.and apply educated pressure. i hope he pulls it off

Are those real? Looks photoshopped to me. Anyways, I really don't know coz if the Hitman catches Pac early in the fight he might be able to control the tempo and could even stop Manny. But if the Pacman manages to hit his stride and stay away from getting tagged cleanly then I think Hatton could really get busted up and might even get stopped late.

Maussa butted Hatton to cause those cuts and Hatton always looks bruised the night after a fight, specially when he fights as shit as he did againsed Lazcano;D

Hatton is a tough kid and dont see Manny beating him down in easy fashion. Both guys have been in some wars and have alot of mileage. Manny is more physically gifted and hatton is naturally bigger. Should be interesting....will be a brawl from start to whenever it ends....I think the Mad Hatter might pull it out....

I think its a case of who can take charge early if Ricky can get close and not let Pacquiao get into his rythem by backing him up getting to his body.Ricky MUST use head movment and lots of feints when moving in avoiding Pacs left hooks.Rough him up when stepping back of Manny use a jab to of step the Pac man cause Hatton can be caught when he steps back from a clinch.

If Manny uses his speed letting his hands go then getting out of range and using lots of ring movement and avoids getting trapped on the ropes by Hatton,he could stop hatton with the volume of punches he will land.


50/50 fight but i feel it could be a close war or a very 1 sided fights depends who is on there game on the night.

I'am still going for a Hatton win might be a bit biased and i want him to win.

1. Barrera wasnt at his best in the 1st pac fight. His distractions were well publicised before the fight and this was confirmed when in 2007 a washed up old Barrera went 12 rounds with the new and improved Manny

2. Pac didnt inflict the worst ever beating on JMM. Most people think Jmm won the fight . Marquez had been beaten by Norwood before that .

3. Pac didnt inflict a beating on a prime Morales cuz Erik was far from his peak . Morales was coming off a loss everytime he met Pac . He had lost two of his last 3 infact pac was the only guy erik had beaten in a while.

As for oscar and Diaz I think its plain to see what happend here

As for the Hatton fight I think Hatton will put a bigger beating on a prime Pac than Torrencampo and Singursat did

Marquez also put on a boxing clinic on Pac for a good amount of those rounds in their first fight. Pac had a sweet round but Marquez dominated most of that fight.

Pac did knockout Morales but Erik also controlled and outclassed Pac their first fight.

Besides those two instances, you can't deny the rest of your statements...

Singursat, a guy that KOed Pac easily on round 3 who then faced Jorge Arce and got beaten TKO on round 1. Go figure. I guess styles do make fights. Also, Pac has been improving here and there.

I thought he would but with so much talk by some about how Manny can't/won't lose this fight, you can't be sure.

I thought Pavlik would handle Hopkins, Oscar would beat Manny & AM too much for Shane. Wrong on all 3 so who really knows?

Pacman may inflict alot of damage on Hatton
but that doesnt mean that he will win.
Also as far as i know Pacman isnt exactly a defence specialist;D

We can look at this the other way. Will Hatton give Pac the worst beating ever like he did to Tszyu, Catillo and Malignaggi . It will be hard to give Pac a bigger beating than Torrencampo and Singursat did but Im sure he can try

If Hatton goes in there with his head screwed on right and makes Pac feel some power early it might stay on Ricky's side. Got to get out there and make a dent, and quick. Pac might fold himself after a few rounds of that. Castillo wasnt known for breaking down early.

Again Hatton is the bigger man, totally used to the weight. Pac is facing his first real test above 135 (with ODL hindsight vision).

It's assured that hatton will give the worst manhugging to pac that he has ever had to endure.

I wouldn't be suprised to see PAC ahead early with Hatton's head getting snapped back a bit...but, Hatton will break him down from the mid to late rounds on. Hatton definitely won't be sitting there taking it. The Hitman will be on him from start to finish. I don't see Pac surviving. Pac better be on his Bike all night long.

Ending it quicker does not always means it's the worst beating... I can clearly recall the commentators during PAC-MAB 1 saying it's the worst beating in Barrera's whole life...

Castillo I think got a worst beating from the late Diego Corrales and definitely Malignaggi was beaten badly by Cotto, suffering a broken jaw and several cuts including cuts inside his mouth...
