Passed my driving test....

Passed it this morning...the only day the test centre was open as well due to the snow here. I was really nervous this morning...but all the practising paid off.

I done really well, probabbly my best drive...got reversing into a bay and 3 point turn to do, done both fine. Examiner was a total twat, wouldnt talk or anything.

I'm fucking made up....I'm going to drive solo the first time tonight to work in my Mum's car. Can't wait. Then I'm picking my new car up next week.

Lefty's on the road...all stay clear of driving round North West England hehe ;D

So you do one test and can drive? Here it is a graduated system. First year you can't drive after dark, or without a full licence person in the car or on freeways. Then you have to retest to be able to drive alone.

You do a theory/hazard perception test on a computer. You have to pass this to take your practical. I got 100% on this.

You have ONE practical test. The Practical consists of a 40 minute drive with two maneuvers included. Obviously an examiner is marking you, if you do one major fault or more than 15 small faults (minors) you fail.

If you pass that then you're free to drive on your own, on the motorway (Freeway) and at whatever time.

So yeah...I can do what I want with my car :D

here in seattle, we have metro buses, trains, monorails, taxi, boats...when gas prices goes back up those are my options ;D

I swear this is why I failed my first time. My tester was sitting in the passenger seat,guys at least a foot shorter then me. I pull up,and look both ways at a t intersection,he failed me because he couldnt see to the left even though I could,hand to god

Awesome.

When i took my driving test i realized how many people really sukked at driving. I dont see how hard it could be. I was taking my car to driving school when i went.

Im often bitter on some other thread about cars. But part of it is probably because even after all these years I cannot even drive one. Another friend in a different country has just passed his test and is really excited about being able to go where he wants freely now. Part of me is looking at him and thinking "you jammy bugger".

There is no doubt that cars are evil machines, but I would quite like the chance to actually drive one before I die.

Congrats, I passed at my second attempt before all these theory tests. Do not be a dick driving, I crashed and wrote my car off thinking I was in a F1 car, lucky no body was hurt.

Well done mate;).Ha,they would'nt talk to you;Di guess they dont get paid to talk,,,just fail people:-X.I remember my driving test instructor,she was about 40+ and never said a word apart from telling me where to drive and what intructions to do next.I did a reversing around a corner 5 minutes into the test,then 5minutes later i done a 3 point turn as well.The 40minutes felt like 10minutes,i mean the times just went by soo quick!!

My first car was a Renault Magane 1.4.Second hand(£1.500).It was a really nice car at first and all of a sudden it fell apart a couple of months later.It ended up looking like one of them Flinstone's cars:-X"Really!":-X

I'm going to buy my car tommorow morning.

Vauxhall Corsa 54 plate 1.2. 25,000 miles.

Going to test drive it first and then put a deposit down.

£4000 it is. Then another £2000 for insurance.

I CAN'T WAIT!!! ;D ;D

Cool.Wow,its brought all them memories of getting my first car there mate with paying a high cost for insurance.There's nothing you can do about i know but its always high as a young fresh driving.Nice one mate,sounds like a canny car!!:DIm hoping to get another car for the summer"IF"i get a bloody job first!I lost my last car because of the shitty country going into this crisis carry on.
