Re: Most quotable films of all time
Pulp Fiction - The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides by the iniquities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men. Blessed is he, who in the name of charity and good will, shepherds the weak through the valley of darkness, for he is truly his brother's keeper and the finder of lost children. And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who would attempt to poison and destroy my brothers. And you will know my name is the Lord when I lay my vengeance upon thee.

Easy, peasy, one two threesy. That's "Die Hard." The first one is Clarence Gilyard, Jr. (the 2nd black guy from Matlock), the second is Alan Rickman and I believe the 3rd one is Bruce Willis.

Nah the 3rd one is the guy who's in charge of the LAPD taskforce. Can't remember his name but he's a sort of comic actor almost always playing bumbling police officials

Re: Most quotable films of all time
I've been to New Orleans on a regular weekend a couple of times and Mardi Gras twice. My interpretation:
Regular Sat. night on french quarter
Drunk with tons of people but plenty of personal space yelling "Look at those titties"
Mardi Gras on the French Quarter
Drunk with tons of people and you can barely walk much less order a drink yelling "look at those titties"
At 18-20 years old it was awesome but when I went back in my late 20's I got tired of it real quick. I haven't been since the hurricanes so I don't know whats its like now

Re: Most quotable films of all time
I must admit, if I'm jammed in with tons of people, I don't last too long without starting to get edgy and look for some out of the way corner. I must be old I guess. The exception is a really good concert.
-
Re: Most quotable films of all time
You both nailed it pretty much. After a few years ,the 'Unique' feel wears off....ecspecially in the beer soaked meat market down in the French Quarter as Fat Tuesday nears. The locals tend to stay out as The tourist are jammed in like cattle bumbling through the rowdy streets. The place to be is along the Parade routes, love the bands,UNO-Lsu dance teams :o,Crazy floats and letting go,in moderation of course ;D

Ive even gotten that way with concerts, mind you I tend to go to smaller shows, but Im allways in adult land anymore at what ever club Im at,either up in the balcony,or by the bar, which in the Trocadero in Philly is one and the same. The last show I can really remember letting my self go in to the sardine section of a club was UK Subs/Nihilistics/76% Uncertain/Toxic Narcotic at CBGB's and that was years ago, actually now that I think about it I did spend a little bit of time in front of the stage for The Queers at JackRabbits in Jacksonville
