So what is it that keeps you and your boxers in the sport TM, is it the dream that one day it all comes together and one of your fighters actually wins a fight?
No disrespect intended but when a best ever fight result is making it to the end of a 4 rounder without getting ktfo I think everyone involved should admit they are in the wrong sport.
Good luck with the promotion anyway, fingers crossed she's been taking in all of your advice and will be able to make it all the way to the second round. :D
you really are an incredible ball sack with way too much free time

You would do better if you just didn't mention your job as a trainer and fight consultant on the boards at all. It's not just me who thinks you are nuts its the opinion of the entire forum.
They doubtless think I am a nut too, who doesn't work, stays in and wanks himself to death to transexual porn whilst believing in Noahs Ark and the coming apocalypse.
The difference is I enjoy that persona and have deliberately cultivated it but you actually seem to say the things you do in order to command respect, it's just plain baffling
I love when someone "speaks for the entire forum",delusions of granduer much?
Tell you what,I'll stick to making fights, and you can stick to watching them

Cool look forward to it, will your next fight also be available in Nokia High Definition and exclusive to youtube?
Nobody gives anything exclusive to you tube
If it makes You tube its either vicked,or has been ran so many times its like a horse thats about to become dog food
Barring a couple of phone calls Im waiting on,you'll be paying $49.75 to see my next fight

Re: Leslie Lubaczewski/Lorrissa Rivas
And you know what douchebag, this thread isnt about you being a douchebag,or it pissing me off,its about two fighters who have trained their asses off for someone elses entertainment, and are willing to get hit in the face for it.
So unless you have something to add about the fight itself, whcih was politely placed on spam instead of the main board, please kindly put your typing hand in a meat grinder.

Bro,honest injun, when your sending one of your own fighters in,your allready wound up.
For Lubaczewski/Rivas it all comes down to who fights more in guard, and who is more in control, this fight comes right down to who keeps their hands in guard while they work. They both hit hard,Lubaczewski probably hits harder,Rivas is probably faster, but is way sloppier about it..
I know who Im betting on,especially with a hand picked corner, but if it was garunteed they wouldnt bother to have the fight.

As long as she doesnt do what she did against Bontz, and get cocky,I should be in a very good mood for most of March.
Seivert she was sick for,we didnt know it until it was too late,we had this weird flu last year, you got it,then you felt fine, then it came back.
It came back right before the Seivert fight, they almost didnt let the fight happen.
Nugyen was a jip job,she was up at 4 when it was stopped, the whole time screaming Im fine Im fine, isnt anybody going to listen to me Im fine, actually she was up against Bontz too,but at least that was closer.
She's had some bad luck, but thankfully this isnt anybodies home court, and she's got her corner put together in advance, and considering how many high ranking ammies he's trained,a very good corner.
We expect good things

Your wife isn't even getting paid for this?

I see another suspension on the horizon

Your wife isn't even getting paid for this?
If that was why she did it,she should quit now,the check's nice and all,but there are other ways to make money that dont involve a fist in your mouth.
She's an athlete, she's been one most of her life, she wants the competition.
The all expenses paid trip to Trinidad and the paycheck is the bonus round for her

Re: Leslie Lubaczewski/Lorrissa Rivas
So you've been stressed out all week, negotiating hard, sweating over contracts about a fight for your wife where she doesn't even get paid?
Interesting.
-
Re: Leslie Lubaczewski/Lorrissa Rivas
I just overheard a work collegue moaning at his wife whos home sick for not doing the dishes from last night. I thought it was a little harsh but he's got nothing on this ;D

Didnt I just say she was getting paid
Interesting reading retention you have.
And that fight wasnt the one I was sweating, that was more or less easy peasy to set up,that was the easiest fight Ive been working on all week

Yeah my wife gets barked at for not doubling her jab. Ive scouted the girl she's fighting, and me and her corner man think she'll take her. Its not that the girl isnt a good fighter, because she is. And it wont be because it will be a bad fight, she just does two things very wrong, that Leslie should be able to exploit. While Im obviously not going to say what those are,all she has to do is stick to the game plan, and March will be a good month for me.
And I would please like to encourage the Mayweather camp to continue to watching the You Tube video I left up on her,and BTW I saw the footage on Lorrissa before you pulled it.
I hear Trinidad is nice this time of year;D

Oh sorry.
You said she fights for the love of it and your entertainment. I thought you meant the promoter was letting her fight as a favour or something?
How many other fighters in your stable?

Im not going to do what some trainers do and list every single fighter whose phone number I have, which would by the definition in boxing, be my stable. I'll just say if you need a fight booked,I can get you a hoss in to the chute for the bronco busting

No.. you don't have to list every fighter you've ever heard of - just ones you actually train or manage will do
Who is the best fighter you have under your wing? .. apart from your wife
-
Re: Leslie Lubaczewski/Lorrissa Rivas
Ignoring the reasons Ive llready given you for not naming names.
Your also asking me to make a judgment call of saying one fighter is better then the other in a public venue.Whcih would be unfair to any other fighters I might work with.
If you want to be an asshole,do it on your own time,if you have any opinions about the fight feel free to share them.
I was nice and put this thread on spam, your being a total dick and resonding with nothing constructive to offer.

Lorissa knows how to win a fight, Luvaknobski doesnt, winning is a habit, so is losing, its one Luvaknobski cant get out of. Whats the next rung of the suspension ladder after 120 days?

She's won at Semi-Pro,and didnt get knocked out by a girl 5'5"
Unlike Rivas
She's got a solid corner,with Ashley McNeally,Butch's kid(trained Christy Martin) running it
Lubaczewskis 3 losses
Ref stoppage on a 4 count
Ref stoppage on a standing 8
Ref stoppage no count given, wasnt even given a chance on that one, because the commisioner knew she was sick going in.
Ask #4 ranked Cheryl Bontz,Leslie gave her her first black eye
Rivas has no amateur backround
Lubaczewski won the 2007 Beckley Toughman
Ko'ing one former Toughman champ, and knocking down another twice on her way to a win by decision.
Demi Nugyen hasnt won once since she got exposed as being vulnerable to power shots by Lubaczewski
Rivas's people oopsed when they took this fight.
-
Re: Leslie Lubaczewski/Lorrissa Rivas
Does any of that alter the fact that Luvaknobski hasnt won a fight and has been stopped each time shes stepped through the ropes as a 'pro'?
It reminds me of a French and Saunders sketch (Female Brit comedy double act) They were playing a couple of tennis players who would lose every game but console themselves safe in the knowledge that they had eaten more bananas than the victors.

Yeah, stopped by the ref,up every time, ref stoppage every time. One of those was with her tattoing Nugyen and just got caught a flash, and got up screaming "Im fine,Im fine, isnt anyone going to listen to me?,Im fine"They had to drag her back to her corner.
Theres a back story on this Im not at liberty to discuss
And last I checked,Rivas was taken out,and I dont mean got up and the ref stopped it,I mean lights out,by a chick who is 5'5" her last time out of the gate.
-
Re: Leslie Lubaczewski/Lorrissa Rivas
Wouldnt 5'5 be about average height for an average weight woman?

Leslie is 6'0" even

Re: Leslie Lubaczewski/Lorrissa Rivas
And gets stopped every time she fights, which kinda makes a mockery of your height equalling success theory doesnt it?
-
Re: Leslie Lubaczewski/Lorrissa Rivas
I'm 5'5" and unbeaten, of course I've not had a fight.
-
Re: Leslie Lubaczewski/Lorrissa Rivas
5'5? Sorry kid, stands to reason you'll never achieve anything in this sport.
-

too short eh? What if I wear heels?

A 7 inch height differential?
If you cant keep someone who has a 5'5" reach off you,I dont like your chances against someone 2 inches taller then you, especially one who has more ring time then you do.
-
Re: Leslie Lubaczewski/Lorrissa Rivas
To be fair though most of that ring time has been spent on the deck. Take away 8 counts and its probably pretty even.
This is getting dangerously close to My Dads bigger than your Dad territory no?

Actually most of hers was spent upright,Rivas had one easy win and got launched in her second fight, before her people pulled the footage I got to see it,Lubaczewski hits harder by far then the girl who bounced Rivas off the corner post
They oopsed
The girl we feel had a legit stoppage against Leslie is currently ranked 4th,and she was still up on a standing 8,and gave her the only balck eye of her career.
They oopsed

Re: Leslie Lubaczewski/Lorrissa Rivas
How funny is this? The name sounded vaguely familiar and I just realized, I was at your wife's pro debut ;D Was covering it for a local bilingual paper here the La Voz, one of only two things I ever did for them. Haha how funny, I remember nothing of the fight and I don't have my notes from that night with me.

Corrales couldn't keep Mayweather off him. Reach isn't everything.
-
Re: Leslie Lubaczewski/Lorrissa Rivas
Yeah but Mayweather can only eat like 2 cheesburgers in one sitting, he's a nobody.
-
Re: Leslie Lubaczewski/Lorrissa Rivas
goddamn lightweight. I reckon I could do 3.

Quick summation, they traded shots in the first,Leslie hit her with one that scared her,in the second Leslie got caught with a flash knockdown, and the ref stopped it even though she was up at 4.
According to most of the people who watched it,Demi had never made that face before,Im sure she has since then, after what Dakota did to her.Id avoid Dakota like the plague, she's a liability. You never know which Dakota is going to show up,tomato,or someone who hits like walls fall
