The Yellow in Fraud is Coming Out

I never really expected Carl Fraud to go through with his fight with Jermain Taylor. I figured he was just running his mouth like he knows how. But than ShowTime announced it and put it on there calender. So I figured I was wrong. Fraud is going through with the fight. Yeah well maybe I wasn't wrong after all.


Is the camp of WBC super middleweight champion Carl Froch may be having second thoughts about facing ex-middleweight champion Jermain Taylor? The Taylor camp has announced that Taylor will fight Froch on April 25 at Foxwoods Resort Casino in Mashantucket, Connecticut, and SHOWTIME CHAMPIONSHIP BOXING is already onboard to televise the clash. The Froch camp, however, has denied that a deal is done. Froch had previously publicly called out Taylor and proclaimed that “they will need to drag Taylor to the ring kicking and screaming because I don’t think he wants any part of me,” and offered to come to the U.S. to fight him. Taylor warned over the weekend, “Froch has been running his mouth a lot, now it’s time to shut him up!” Stay tuned…

Yeah, although his gay pic of JMM does mark him out as one of the more irritatin semen-suckers. On Froch, most def, he gave it all this hype beforehand but right now I see him looking for ways out because I don't think he thought Taylor's people would actually go for the fight. I'll enjoy watchin him gettin pummelled even if I don't like Jermain much either ;D

The reason people have a go at Froch is because he's somehow been annointed the best Super-Middleweight in the world by himself & the British boxing media. The simple fact is he's edged a fight with Jean Pascal (I had him winning 115-113, anything more than 116-112 is over generous IMO). In contrast Jermain Taylor has had 2 tight fights with Bernard Hopkins (I thought Hopkins won both 115-113, but regardless they're close fights still that some thought he won), a close one with Winky & decent 2nd fight with Pavlik. I ain't a big Taylor fan & think he has been stupidly overrated at times by some in the US, but the fact is he is light-years ahead of Froch in talent. Froch's only chance is a KO & that's if he actually does have heavy hands or whether he's just been fighting easy/shot fighters.

I've seen people in the UK claim no one in the 168lb division has anything on Froch. He's apparently got the best chin (they clearly don't know who Librado Andrade is), the best power (I'd say Kessler's is better), the best skills (Lucian Bute, who's that?). The only thing I'll give him is that now Mundine has gone to 160, he does have the biggest mouth & he sure lets that get to work. Except this time it might just have got him into a bit of trouble ;)

Your trying to make out the whole fight is scrapped, its not at all. The fight will go ahead ;)

Also, carl has been training very hard for this fight. it will be something that needs to be sorted, not carl bottling the fight ;)

I think Hennesey is second rate promoter imo, its took Froch what 8 years to get where he is hes 31, Mr John Murray is also feeling a bit disillusioned with Mick Hennesey, Froch will get schooled by Taylor if this fight does happen.

agree. he did have enough power to kelly on the canvas at 160 shit bhop couldnt even do it at his own weight even tho he schooled kelly. anyways im picking taylor by ko he wont have a hard time finding frochs face thats for sure and i dont think froch has the power or the skills to beat taylor.

Taylor will come back to win and be a force at 168, lining up a huge fight with Kessler at MSG.

Im hoping Taylor schools Froch and shuts his big mouth but i am a tad worried that Jermain's best days are behind him. Moving up in weight may help but i think he is their for the taking.... Hopefully not.

Taylor at his best wins every round against Carl.

Can anyone post a link with some proof of Froch going "yellow"..?

I see or hear nothing to suggest this and fully expect a Cobra victory.
Carl is huge at the weight and will bully JT around the ring before stopping him.
JT won't like his style at all and it'll be interesting to see how (or if) he can adjust and i think Froch will simply stroll through his punches to land his own.
I see this going the same way as the Pavlik fight for Taylor;)

Let me first start out by saying Pacquiao is the greatest fighter ever !!! Just messin I am very interested in this fight I do think from the clips of seen on you tube and the Jean Pascal fight Froch is very untested. Jermain will be the best test thus far and will give him all he can handle. But there is something about them tall lanky fighter's so who the hell knows whats going to happen but I will take Jermain by a close desicion.

Having said that Froch has one of the worst defences you could ever wish to see, just looka his face it's like a blind cobblers thumb! Can't call who will win, but Froch WILL get stopped soon with that lack of defence

If you think Taylor is yellow you need to have your head examined or you know nothing about boxing.....

Taylor has wins against Marquez, Joppy, Edoward, Hopkins (Not once but TWICE), Lacy and fought Pavlik twice (right after he got KO'ed). He also fought Spinks and Ouma who were smaller but not walk in the park....

One thing you CANT say about Taylor is he ducks people or is yellow....

Add in to that Winky Wright who so many others have ducked. I thought he lost that fight & both to Hopkins & got the benefit of being the USA's great new hope, but the fact is he has shown that he aint afraid to take on a challenge even if it might cost him. I'm still wondering how beating up Robin Reid still counts as makin someone a serious SMW contender ;)

From what i have read Haye isnt being the most cooperative in his negotiations (hence Golden Boy had to step in), From what Haye says this fight is a walk in the park so Haye should take short money knock out Wlad and this will lead to some HUGE paydays..........

My dislike for Haye.Froch has nothing to do with me being from the US. I rooted for Joe Cal against BHop (I think BHop is a racist a$$, although Joe's taunting in later fights was starting to get on my nerves) and I always root for Hatton (just a good old boy). I also back Wlad and Vitali against the american fighters they face (cause right now they all suck)......I choose my fighters based on fight style and class/character....

Taylor's people have announced it before some final details like the ref or similar have been agreed upon by both camps in an effort to get the biggest advantage they can. I'm sure the fight happens and I'm sure VD thinks it will too, he's just doing his thing.

I'm not a big fan of Taylor, but I see him winning this fight by a comfortable UD.

Froch's defense sucks a$$, and I see Taylor poking holes through that leaky defense. Froch seems to have a decent chin, so I don't think Taylor will knock him out, but I see him winning this one.
