I will however offer one small ray of hope for those who will never be a world champ, euro level, country, state level etc....the sport is filled with people who recognise they don't have what it takes but they can supplement their income in a sport they love. I'd suggest if you're happy with that you work massively on defence - so you don't get stopped and suspended so you'd lose out on future paydates, get yourself over to nobby nobbs ;D you can happily and relatively safely make something of a living that way.
