"Frank, whats the name of the arena we are having the fight at again?"
"Marcos Antonio Barrerra" - Did he add an "s" to Marco?
You have to admit it appears King is living the dream and enjoying himself....

Don King says he loves Puerto Rico yet everytime he has a Puerto Rican fighter he starts with the damn "Viva PUERTA RICOOOOOO" which literally translates to Rich Door, it's PuertO Don, not PuertA lol ;D

What is his deal with all of them flags? Everywhere he goes, he is playing with the flags.
If AmeerCon does get knocked out by Barrera, it will be ameer shame.
:-\
In the end, he says viva Mexico and yet he is waving the American flag.
Also, did any one notice the dorky look on Kings face in the end? He reminded me of Eddie Murphy in Bowfinger.

Don King knows how to talk, gotta give him that. I'm not a big fan of him, but he seems to get easier to bear as the years roll by. He is a funny man, in his own warped way.

I must say, I don't like King and Warren working together. The way Don said "We will bring him back up" after stating Khan would get knocked out just sounds wrong "We?" We who?
I can't help wonder what the fuck thse two are up to.

As far as I know both King and Warren are back working closely again. That means that tonight is a no lose situation for King. If MAB wins he'll be happy. If Kahn wins, no doubt him and Warren will be looking forward to making big money off him. King will probably be setting up high profile fights in America.

When Wlad said, "Don had to roll up all his little flags and go home," I truly became a fan.

If people realized how he had to do with what happened to the G-Man people would hate him. I know I do...

I meant a fan of Wlad, MIck. I can not stand Don King and I think he has hurt boxing.

Right, booze.

Well I've posted this several times but I can't find where I put the link to the interview.
Run a search and I'm sure you'll find it. Boxer Tarick Salmaci goes deep into what he saw and what he really thinks happened with the G-Man.
I'll keep looking for the link, the interview is old so who knows if it's still out there. But wow what an interview that was.

Well I tried clearing my mind a bit and it came back to me where I read it.
Here it is. Honestly though it's not easy to read cause your literally reading about someone who was already hurt and not being cared for by King. Just thought I'd mention that as I remember it made my stomach turn when I read it.

What did King mean when he said Khan's 'mastery of the English language is just superb'?
Does he think Khan's first language is Punjabi or something?

Doubt he has enough of a geographical understanding to know that, he probably thinks Khan talks 'Arab' or 'Pakistani'. I can actually imagine him saying the words the bastard. I wanted to hit the old murdering bastard at the end when he was in there smiling, waving flags around whilst MAB was bleeding all over the place.

Re: i might not like don king all that much but he sure does make me laugh...
Ive read all through this thread and agree it was a terrible tragedy what happened to Gerald McClellan. But I cannot see how Don King can be blamed for it.I overheard someone ask King why he entered the ring with the champion but if he was defeated he left with the new champ. King answered " Thats easy, I'm a promoter in this business to make money the money is going to be with the new champion OK"?
He added " Ive got my friends among the fighters I'd like to see win but you cannot let that affect your business decisions".
I know it doesnt make him any better person but it does show his thinking.
If anyone was to blame it was the referee he was a clown plus he couldnt even speak english
