I dont read into the endless on/off stories and wont believe it until they are both stood side by side in the ring!
I don't even care about this fight anymore.
Haye is to inactive. If he beats Wlad he'll probably take a two year celebration holiday.

If Wlad fights Tyson Fury Wlad can tie is left hand behind his back......Tyson will buzz himself with an upper cut and Wlad can finish him with a straight right.;D
I can imagine why peoples in the UK are waiting impatiently for that fight but personally, I don't think Haye has proven anything in the Heavyweight division yet and I am not sure he can compose with Wlad, sure, he has power and a surprise is always possible, the heavyweight division's championship is always a punch away but all in all, I see Wlad's fighting a Manny Stewart's match, cleaning Haye's face with his extra long face till he gets smitten enough to land the big hook or the uppercut and that would close the books. The only aspect of that fight that sparks a VERY tiny bit of interest is Haye's power vs Wlad suspect chin but other than that...
Something that I would love to see though is Adamek vs Haye if ever Adamek goes heavy.
I hope this fight get signed and sealed today the Heavyweight division needs an exciting fight.
Wonder what happened to Haye fighting 1 or 2 top 10 fighters first?
Hayes needs to fight somebody fast. If this goes through and happens then great... but if it flounders on much longer then he should just keep busy... get some experience and put himself in a better bargaining position and then come back.
Obviously Wlad's people don't think that being undisputed in the division below theirs holds that much pull.

But he is going to beat Haye. Haye should really have tested the waters at heavyweight first but oh well, he'll find out the difference between him and Holyfield and the difference between Wladimer and Buster Douglas soon enough.

In fact I thought that taking Haye directly to a title shot with wlad was unfair compared to other fighters who really worked hard to get there.
but Wlad also deserve easy payday time to time...I don't denied Haye has power knockout and athletic abilities, but this is just too soon imo.

Haye could say his cruiserweight resume was better then holyfields and some of his fans would believe that. I don't think he counts on anyone to do research on the thngs he says. But you'd think a smart journalist would have called him on it by now. But I doubt they would because they probably want another interview. It seems like Haye has a bunch of people in his ear. I watched his confrontation with Wladimer on youtube and after it was done he had people telling him "He don't wanna fight(referring to Wladimer)" Not a good thing.
If Haye actually believes that he'll get beaten fast. The last person that said Wladimer didn't have balls got beaten with one hand by the guy...
I will believe this fight is going to happen when the bell rings.
David Haye is a decent fighter, he COULD bring some depth and excitement to the division but then again he could bite off more than he can chew and as we have seen that could ruin his career. Sure Haye lost vs Carl Thompson, but he was young and maybe he did use a bad strategy vs Thompson but if he steps in vs Wladimir and anything he decides to do gets him busted up with a jab or power punch then he's going to take too much damage and maybe end up being a shell shocked fighter a la Gerry Cooney or Michael Grant.
I think it's best for David Haye and boxing in general if he works his way up in the division, it gives him experience, it lets people learn about who he is, and he creates more buzz about a matchup vs Wladimir or Vitali.

Everyone would love for Haye to do well in the division but to jump right in with Wlad :-\....That's like swimming with Jaws

There is a slight possibility that Haye's chin has sured up a little bit by adding weight....but I doubt it's gotten so good with the extra weight that it could handle what Wlad can dish out.
Also although Haye has been in with some taller fighters, what will he do when Wlad is controlling distance and pace? Is Haye going to have a Plan B??? Or is David going to clam up and take an ass whuppin like 52 people before him???

I don't know what Lampley was watching, I saw like 5-6 left hooks as opposed to him just seeing 2.
It has been so long since I've seen Haye fight that I even forgot what he looks like let alone his style. I wish I was kidding.
