Haye just basically ran out of steam.
1st time ave seen that great clip that carl done gd to last they 1st 2 rounds did the town get flung in at the end of the 5th he should of been aloud to go on imo

I cant believe Haye is now going to face the bigger puncher in the game, and that people(on this forum) actually think he can win.
He had absolutly nothing left, he had not trained for 12 hard rounds and was expecting to take Carl out in two rounds similar to Amir Kahn i think this did Haye a world of good and look how he turned it round, not preparing properly will eventully catch up with you.Quote:

I don't think it does Haye any justice to use the Carl fight to measure him up vs. opponents.
As noted the fight was years ago.
Now with that being said it's known that Haye can't take a shot that well.
But with that being said he has only been stoped once and he's fought some hard punchers.
I see the Carl fight as a measuring fight, they wanted to see where the level he was at and they found out. They pulled the plug on the fight and moved on. If anything his people should be praised for knowing when to stop it before Haye took anymore shots.
You lose you learn and you move on.
But I still think Wlads gonna spark him out.

haye a few years ago Wladimer gassed against Brewster as well the same ways that Haye did here so to be fair both of them have gassed and been stopped. People will say Wladimer has become a better fighter since then. Well so has Haye.Quote:

Calvin Brock ? :vd: Come on now. Nobody even knows who Calvin Brock is...you call him fresh and determined ? Brock is a con...look at his record...it's as padded as they come...he had no will to win whatsoever against Wladimir. As well he beat him in 7, not 5. Damn homie.
