I've been wanting to post these pics to share to you guys. Any Hendrix fan out there that hadn't got the chance to visit the legend were he rest.
Anybody ever want to visit the legend someday let me know, cause I go to this cemetary almost every weekend. Its the same resting place my late brother rests.
I see a lot of hendrix fan visiting him whenever I am in the area.
Bruce Lee when I get the chance I'll take pics too to share but thats at a different cemetary.
Last time I was down in Seattle I wanted to go check out his grave, but I didn't have enough time.

Thanks for reply guys, Jimi is just awesome. His guitar work is amazing. Im too young to really know a lot about Jimi but I am learning about him and his work. Did he play the guitar backwards or upside down sometimes because he is left handed?
There is a cool statue of Jimi Hendrix outside a college school on broadway seattle. When I get a chance i would like to share that too.

I never took lessons for guitar, and learned myself, learned scales myself, and came up with my own progressions that i felt sounded good.. he did the same, but probably with weird tunings and what not considering standard tuning was probably out the window after restringing and playing upside down..Quote:

Perhaps I wasn't clear. He restrung not to play upside down, but to avoid playing upside down. The body was upside down, the strings weren't. The only difference between his restrung righty guitar and a normal lefty guitar that might affect the sound are the different lengths of the part of the string above the nut.Quote:

edit: I suppose there might also be differences in the part of the pickup under each string.

No, it wouldn't be any harder to play. The mechanical would be the same, the only problem might be hitting the toggle switch by accident. I honestly don't think it would change the sound all that much, Hendrix has a distinct sound as a result of his skill level, style, and technique.Quote:
