Darchinyan lashes out after Donaire's recent success in the ring..

Unified world super flyweight champion Vic “Raging Bull’’ Darchinyan, who will attempt to become a world champion in a third weight class when he challenges IBF bantamweight champion Joseph “King Kong” Agbeko on Saturday, July 11, live on SHOWTIME (9 p.m. ET/PT), has replied to comments by Nonito Donaire and his promoter Bob Arum. “I will fight Nonito Donaire, anywhere and anytime, just make sure to bring a belt and don’t be afraid,” said Darchinyan. “Bob Arum likes to talk up his fighters, just to build them up. He was talking about me not being able to attract fans, more people came to watch me and Christian Mijares in the pouring rain than all his boys in the same division on the same night in Vegas.”

He continued, “I think the flies that Bob Arum’s talking about are buzzing around the dribble coming out of his and Donaire’s mouth. Bob Arum should be worrying about his fighters not putting plaster in their wraps, not talking about me after I bashed his golden boy Arce, he needs to find another money maker so he is pushing Donaire. Arce and Montiel would bash Donaire, they are both Bob Arum’s fighters but he keeps talking about me? Why? Because I give the fans what they want and he knows that’s what brings the money in.

“I have been around too long not to know when someone is trying to raise the value of their fighter. I have won six world titles and I am the only undisputed world champion. I don’t handpick my opponents, I will fight anyone, anytime, anywhere.

“If it wasn’t for the one loss I have had, I wouldn’t be where I am now. Thank you Nonito. I beat myself and I have learned, Let’s see how the “Filipino Fraud” goes against me in a rematch. If he can win a title at super flyweight or bantamweight, he can come and take my belts. I just hope his corner doesn’t stop the fight before he is knocked out cold.

“Bob Arum needs to remember one thing, I promised him, I will punish, destroy and knock out all his fighters last time against Arce, bring them on one by one, even bring two at a time, I’m here waiting. Stop singing it and start bringing it Mr. Arum, money talks and bullshit walks”.

Is that really Vic talking? seems a bit articulate for me, still it's all good fun and i have to say that Vic has backed up all the talk of late. Bring on Montiel and Donaire i say!!

Don't like VicD , he seems to have an unrefined style and I'm not questioning his success it's just that I don't really like watching him , I've not taken to him .

Cant see what will be any different in the rematch between him and Donaire , to be frank I think Nonito beats him 9 times out of 10 stylewise it's all wrong for Vic .

and then he gets knocked out again in the rematch, ;D how would he live with himself :lolhaha:

Vic talks too much. He's definitely been performing well lately and is coming off two huge wins but Donaire is his kryptonite. I hope they do fight again, and I hope the same outcome happens. I wonder what Vic would say then?

I think this is all Arum's doing. He got into Vic's under skin with the statement he releases recently. I wish I could find that article and share it here.

Donaire beats Darchinyan anytime imo.

Which is more the reason that he is one badass dude. After being brutally knocked out by Donaire, he is calling him out for a rematch. Does he have one ounce of fear in his body?

Vic is right to an extent, Donaire wins and becomes semi-complacent, Vic is knocked out cold and catapults to the top ten p4p by thrashing Arce and Mijares. In his next fight, he is taking another risk by fighting Joseph Agbecko, the reigning bantamweight champion.

Will Donaire maintain the same level of competition as Vic? Who loses first?

But Vic needs to direct his wrath at his promoter cause he is the one that is preventing a rematch.

I would say Vic vs Donaire is a pickem because of Vic's power. If he lands a good shot on Donaire he can hurt him.

I agree! Shaw needs stop being an as$hole and cooperate to make the rematch happen. I don't buy his "disloyaty" bullcrap not one bit. In fact it is him who should be urging to make this fight to happen. Donaire has nothing to prove to Darchinyan. Donaire is a lot better fighter than him, he already proved that. For 11 months and a half Donaire was inactive because Shaw abandoned Donaire's boxing career due to some negligenced of Shaw responsibilities as Donaire's promoter. The conflict between Shaw and Donaire arised until Donaire decided to disabled his contract with Shaw. It was not Donaire's fault for being disloyal but it was Shaw negligenced of not giving Donaire 3 fights within a year which was in the contract and Donaire need to move on. Reading the TS's shared article, I believe Darchinyan really wants to avenge his losed but it's Shaw who don't want the second fight. Obviously he wants to protect his cash cow.

Shaw knows that Vic is not sure that he can win the rematch. If the second fight happens and Vic loss again, Shaw knows that Vic will difinitely diminish his boxing career also his earning. Donaire is a big risk, low reward fighter for Vic, and Shaw is just being wise about it coz he knows that Vic has slim chance of winning. It was not true what Shaw said (showtime interview) that the second fight will not happen because of Donaire's disloyaty.

At the same time Vic getting stopped by this guy made Darchiniyan into a much better fighter and he isn't the same guy that Donaire beat on that day. So thats what makes the rematch so interesting. Because did Darchiniyan change enough to beat the guy who had an answer for most everything he did. I'd like to see if he did.

The only thing I worry about with Donaire is the outside the ring stuff and maybe focus and complacency inside the ring, I'm impressed by him everytime, he's got loads of ability. Vic's improved but honestly I wouldn't be surprised if Nonito put him to sleep again.

Don't ask me why but I think Vic KOs him this time (I know, I know I am a nut hugger... someone has to hug some nuts besides Pacman's!!!). Donaire was fantastic in neutralizing Vic in their first fight. Even without that bomber finishing right hook from Donaire.. I couldn't really see Vic coming back in that fight. He came out the gate wrong, walked forward and took too many shots early to mount a comeback.

Vic has changed it up a bit, and I think he is fighting better in spots. He knows how to take a minute off a round and just play tag, and they wind up for the BIG ones. It's Donaire's time to taste canvas.

You know Vic is having such a picnic climbing the scales and winning.. Why would he stop and see what Donaire is doing "down there." Now we hear Donaire saying he wants to climb the scales a little.. hmmm is Vic the only big fight for Donaire?

Where the hell are Rafa and Izzy when you need them??? I want Vic to hit #1 p4p. Either one would give it to him. Any1 disagree?

I think Rafa should no longer be one of the top 10 p4p best now that PWill and Dawson are creating buzz lately. But I would difinitely catapult Vic to #3 if he beats one of them.

Imo Darchinyan needs to beat Donaire, Montiel, and either Rafa or Izzy to be a #1 p4p fighter on the planet.

I think Manny and Marquez would need to lose in order for anyone to even come close to taking either of their spots.
