I know Saddoboxer has a poll already running about this fight. However, that poll was started a long time ago now and I am interested in seeing how people are feeling about the fight now. Some people may not have voted and other posters may have had changes in thought.

Good one Miles, I haven't had much to say in the build up to this but I am excited! I've enjoyed reading a lot of the posts & threads, the talk from both sides supporters has been great around this fight. Niether guy is really a favorite of mine but I've got to respect what both have done... especially Pacquiao!!!
Hatton looked great last time out against Malignaggi & seemed to have rediscovered some lost technique.
Pacquiao has been on an awesome ride! I picked against him with Marquez & then DLH & although I thought he lost to Marquez, both men's efforts were outstanding! The fight could have easily gone either way. What do I need to say about DLH? Impressive!!!
My pick:
I feel that even if Hatton fights the fight of his life, he will still be on the losing side! I feel Pacquiao is just the better fighter. Hatton will have his moments but Manny should be in command & eventually Hatton is going to get caught & get taken out!!!
I'm really worried about clash of heads. It also more likely to happen because of their fighting style.

I've gone for a Hatton TKO/KO - I just think that Pac is unproven at this weight and he is fighting the best that there is at the weight. Hatton is underrated by those who've seen his decline/cockiness (i.e. didn't think he had to keep doing what got him there) and that they'll be suprised by a very focussed and more round Hatton than they expect. Hatton will be all over Pac but with added intelligence - I see him as too strong for Manny.
I give Manny all the credit in the world for taking on ODLH - in the balls department, because he never knew Oscar would be that shot, but I'm not getting carried away with that win and expecting him to blow through Hatton (who isn't coming down to a weight he hasn't been at for years and years). Hindsight's a beautiful thing and I don't know why people don't want to apply it to the ODLH win.
And I'll be the first to congratulate Manny and his fans if he wins because this is a ballsy move for him.

My first prediction of this fight is PAC via KO/TKO inside 9 rounds... With 8 days to go my new prediction is PAC by KO/TKO in the 5th round...
PAC is just too fast for Hatton... Speed kills...
But I won't totally rule out Hatton's chances, as always I still give him 1% of winning...

Pac is a damn good fighter, I just think his quality has been inflated artificially by by beating a poor diaz and an extremely poor DLH. This time he runs into a mauling for me at one weight jump too many, not counting welter against DLH.
i voted hatton ko, wasnt really sure when this fight was announced, but i thought long and hard since then and i think hatton hatton is gonna wear pac down and take his heart, i dont think manny fights very well on the back foot, and thats where he gonna be all fight coz theres no way pac is going to push hatton on the back foot.

I went for Ricky by KO, which may be a slightly biased opinion but it's a gut feeling and you gotta go with those. Round 7 I'd say.
Actually I'm quite suprised to see most of the votes going to Hatton by KO so far, I had the feeling there was a large group of fans on here who saw it going to Pacquiao by KO?
Maybe just the English guys have voted so far ;)

I went for Hatton by T/KO, though I honestly think it's 50/50. It really depends on who shows up and executes the game plan better, IMO. I suspect what we will see in the fight is a lot of variable change between rounds, but I don't see it going the distance.
Gotta go with Hatton by KO in the 10th or 11th round. All this Pac hype means nothing at the end of the day. Hatton will be stronger, he will be the one charging forward, Pac will have to fight on the back foot because Ricky will pressure him, he will get backed into the ropes and take enough punishment that Freddie will pull him out of there.
I went for Pacquiao by decision, even though I'm over there supporting Ricky. I have to say I have been getting this sneaking suspicion over the past month or two that Hatton may just take Pacquiao out, but in order not to jinx it & in case its just me being hopeful, I'm gonna stick with my original conviction... Let's hope I'm wrong ;D
Well i vote Pacman by UD , but if he carelessness Hatton without any doubt will KO Pac , for sure , i considered that Hatton have more power than Pac in this Division..............:cool:
If i were smart i'd pick pac. But i'm going with hatton by tko/ko. Hatton won't be coiming into the fight drenched in gatoraide with blood leaking from his veins. He's seen speed from floyd and paulie so it's not like he'll be blown away and in awe as so many are trying to make it seem. I just think to many are counting hatton out due to pac's last fight and that fight will have absolutly noting in common with this one.
I'm gonna go with Pac by stoppage but I'm still a bit unsure. I don't think that highly of Hatton's chin these days and I think Manny can get to him but I wonder about Manny's ability to fight when Hatton gets right up in his grill. I actually a few years ago would have worried more about Pac fighting off his back foot but he's improved more, still wonder about his inside game.
I see Pac winning this quite comfortably to be honest either on the cards big or the towel comes in, i hopeim wrong i really hate predicting Hatton fights as i hope he wins so badly,but i think Pac will be to crisp and quick for Ricky.

Hatton TKO, Im confident he will be too much for Pac. Either way both are in my top 10 favourite fighters so im not too bothered who wins or looses. I want Hatton to do it more though, I think he will pull it out of the hat against Manny. Pac's best weight class IMO is 135, he could of defined his legacy there IMO, hes in the deep against Hatton here.
