"Pretty Boy" vs JMM is done and will be officially announced tomorrow

This would be great; I just can’t wait for it!
I’m curious at what weight it would be.

Not being a dick or anything but BoxRec is def. not the most reliable when it comes to fights. They'll list just about any fight that is "rumored" to happen.

I belive they had the Pavlik-Taylor II fight listed as a fight for "Cruiserweight" titles.
They also once had Naz rated the #1 All-Time greatest Featherweight. :-X

There's a couple of articles about it. They're still negotiating.

Listing fights is the only thing boxrec is good at. They don't usually put it up until its settled.

....it'd be a good fight, but damn after this will someone then man up and fight paul williams ???

It's still being talked about nothing has been settled yet.

I suppose a few people will be disapointed mayweather is taking on the "smaller man" I'm hoping he sees this as some sort of tune up looking towards cotto. he must know everyone wants to see that fight.

As has been said a million times on this forum, DO NOT USE THE BOXREC SCHEDULE.

Use the ESPN.com schedule if you want to look at upcoming fights.

They definitely get it right sometimes... I've seen a few fights they have predicted that have come to pass. It definitely increases the possibility of this fihgt happening, it doesn't assure it, but this is good enough for me.

You have pure counter puncher vs a slick defensive minded in/out tactician...

This is a guaranteed 12 round unanimous decision for the pot shotting pretty boy! WIth both fighters leaving unbruised and pretty much unscathed..

After what JMM has accomplished and all, it’s a little sad to call him a "tune-up" :( . Still, I rather see Mayweather face him than a journeyman for a tune-up.

Who have you guys got for this one? I think Marquez will be competitive in the early rounds but floyd will dominate in the middle to later stages and win a UD

Sky sports are about as reliable as they come and tend to 90% of the time be bang on the mark.

The fact its actually now being reported on the official channel suggests this may indeed already be a done deal!!

If its at 147 i cant look past a floyd return win, anything lower and JMM has an excellent chance of pulling it off!!

Love it to happen, just hope that Floyd concedes a little weight as Marquez has only two fights over 130 to his name.

Whenever Floyd fights it's a treat for fans, I just wish he would fight actual welters if he insists on the 147 weight, as Pac and Marquez are way too small and Hatton already proven not in the same league.

can't wait for this fight! ;D floyd vs pac (if both win of course) will truly be a special fight, with floyd schooling him in the art of getting counter punched to death.

Yeno, alot gets made of Floyd fighting fighters at Welterweight that aren't Welterweights, meaning they have a disadvantage. However I read an interview with Mosley recently saying he wants the Hatton-Pac winner, and I've heard Bob Arum say he wants to make Cotto-Pac by the year end. Do you think Cotto or Mosley will receive the same kind of criticism Floyd has?

Good one Van ;D That's awesome if true what a great fight I really don't think size is going to mean a whole lot in that one but do think Floyd will win but no doubt about it this is going to be one of his toughest fights in his career.
