Club girl complains to cops over boxer Tom Carlin

Boxer Amir Khan is set to be quizzed by police after a nightclub waitress claimed she was indecently assaulted.

Former Commonwealth champ Khan, 22, and three pals are also likely to be quizzed over allegations that the girl’s home was trashed and that property was stolen. Khan, who fights next month for the WBA world light welterweight title, is alleged to have met the 20-year-old brunette while on a night out with pals in Funky Buddha club in London’s West End on April 21.

The girl claims that after drinking and dancing with her, Khan went back to her shared student house in north London where he was joined by pals.

The girl made a complaint last week at Holborn police station in central London. A bag of white powder which she claims she found in her house is being analysed for possible drugs.

It is believed that officers from Operation Sapphire which investigates sex allegations will approach Khan, of Bolton, Lancs, and his friends this week.
Police said: “The Sapphire Unit is investigating a number of allegations, the most serious being of a sexual nature.”

Khan’s agent said: “We are aware of the complaint made to police. It’s in the hands of our lawyers.”

Will probably end up being nothing, either some money grabber running her mouth to the tabloids or she will probably be the type of woman who partakes in the phenomenon of being 'almost raped' (Teri-Amos etc).

I don't care for these kinds of stories and don't like to make judgements without any real evidence. Nightclubs are rubbish though. Khan should find a better hobby. ;D

Agreed, the fact it comes from possibly the least credible British newspaper doesn't speak well for it. The fact the highest search for it is currently our forum followed by the pacland forum furthers the doubt in me. This story was posted nearly a day ago, if there was even the slightest credibility to it, the big tabloids would be on it like that, and even then 99% of the time it is BS.

'Indecent' infers the need to differentiate from 'decent'.

Also the original poster should read the article properly... Amir Khan is not being accused of anything... he is being questioned about the actions of somebody else.

After the DLH fish socks experience, I am more than careful when a boxer or a star is accused of anything coming out from an hotel or a nightclub, like it has been stated before, I want more evidence before jumping in any bandwagon.

rape is when intercourse is forced on someone who is unwilling to do so.

Once the agreement was reached. Oscar's team sent out a press release: stating that the pictures were "proven fake" thus causing the stripper to drop her lawsuit. Completely ignoring that fact that they just paid her off, and made her sign a confidentiality agreement. This bogus press release made it onto many reputable news cites and was even printed verbatim in The Ring Magazine.

Nope, Khan is Warrens last big fighter and he will fight tooth and nail to keep Khan in the publics favour, after the little prick ran over a middle aged man on a crossing, overtaking the stopped traffic and going through the red light at 60mph in the city centre I think Warren is a bit more clued up to the dopey cuunt.

Id bet Warren has enlisted Max Clifford to keep such stories away from the press, much like Simon Cowell employs him to stop his true sexuality getting out;)

I doubt it, first, it is very doubtful that Oscar would have accepted to get pictured like that. Admitting he would wear those stuff, he would never accept to be pictured in that uniform except if he's very idiot, which he's not. Also, (always from what I've read), the expert statement was that it was scam picture, which the girl admitted, I've seen nowhere that there was a secret settlement being agreed, especially because Oscar would have probably accepted a settlement before the pictures got posted. If you have other sources though, I am very open to look at them.

See the thing is pictures that came out first looked fake.

But then the other pictures that surfaced afterwards looked very real, especially one of an obviously drunk ODLH making faces with the girl.

THOSE pictures surfaced later that looked the real deal, but the ones that the media circulated looked fake. Amazing how those were the ones that made press mostly instead of the ones that looked very real.

95% of all claims by women against sports stars are scams to get rich quick.
It's easy to say you have been assaulted or insulted or molested in the hope that they will pay big bucks just to keep any liaison out of the news, when you don't pay up, the accusations fly until you do.
If any major sports star meets a woman in a bar or club he is going to be fair game for the get rich quick, scamming female out there. I'm sorry to say there are a lot of them out there.

They came down hard on Tyson to make an example to sports stars... I think it's swung the other way though... People know that people are willing to pay out rather than risk going through that.

There is a difference between sexual assualt and indecent assualt, it is one of scale.

Sexual assault includes forced sexual penetration i.e rape, indecent assualt would be things like jacking off in front of someone, flashing, pinching a girl's ass etc.

Sexual assault has violent connotations, whereas indecent assault is more creepy pedo type guy.

Glad that is cleared up now.... Although I wasn't really one of the people puzzled buy it.. Made sense to me....

Sports personalities find themselves in these types of situations all to often... Unfortunately they are paid for their sporting skills and not integrity...
